The silence after a performance is a sign that the audience is so moved that they are drawing in the experience. Then the applause afterwards is crazy. He is incredible.
The problem with the GB is that if they hit it, he doesn't perform again until the finals. The heck with that, I want to see him perform again and again.

He’s put the work in & that’s obvious. It bugs me that people understand you need to study any other instrument except the voice. No matter your genre of singing, surely you want to be the best that you can be & have complete control over your vocal instrument? When you do, that allows you to freely express both the emotions of the lyrics as well as the dynamics of the music. He comes almost skipping onto stage, smiles and jokes and I expected something funny and then comes this HUGE voice out of this beautiful man who almost is too small for that voice. I could listen to THAT voice all day long; it is still resonating in my head, 10 minutes AFTER he hit that last note! His performance is the reason I keep watching BGT! There have been other operatic voices over the years, and they have been good, and a few even very good (Jonathon comes to mind) ... but this performer is exceptional.
All the judges were absolutely spot on with their comments. Amanda was right. Innocent Masuku is the best opera audition ever. Perfect diction, awesome voice control.

I love that the moment he finished singing, there wasn't immediate silence, but the fleeting echoes of his voice bouncing around the auditorium alongside feedback from the electronics. That's how SILENT everyone was for his performance. Incredible moment. I'd also like to point out that sometimes you can point out inconsistencies in pitch or tone through the echoes, but even his echoes were PERFECT. Amazing singer all around. 🥰
