dude....ive never heard of this band till my friend told me about them and had me listen to them....holy f'ing sh!t!!!! they are amazing....their musicianship is great! and their lyrics are cool too
Literally, these guys, particularly this album, has been a source of inspiration for almost everything I write. Absolutely wonderful piece of creation.
the very first concert I ever went to was deftones in NJ and dredg opened for them, and I was like wtf who the hell is that, and they were AMAZING. I went right home and stalked them out all over the internet and I have been listening every day since, I hope to see them again some time
I'm a local but a foriegner Still the addict yet im sober Still the body with the coroner Many friends but still a loner this verse litterally sums up my life right now
Why Dont they come to Istanbul, they are comin to germany, London, Amsterdam ... Dredg Has lots of fans in Turkiye, hope to see u guys.. Hacı ne zaman gelecek bu adamlar, yok mu bu işleri ayarlayacak menajerler.
dredg is on tour, so check out the dates...then u might see them...i just looked the tour dates up so i guess i'll see them in nov. hope you get to see them.
i agree with jay. I dont know why so many people hate CWA but i think it goes just as well with their previous albums. It still has those themes and concepts from El Cielo and Leitmotif, plus it also has some great songs on it.
Probably due to its radio friendly sound, which is bs if you think about it Any band with a unique sound like this will only benefit from polishing their sound
just because its an original song doesnt mean they cant use the same chords, its an acoustic anyway, most acoustics sound alike because they tend to use open chords, and you are likley to run into a few songs that sound alike because of the same chords used
I would in all honesty swear my first born child's soul(What?! It's not like I'm gonna sell mine, I'm using it!) to the devil to get my hands on the sheet music.
@slvrstnthb Totally agreed. If these guys were "emo", then they would not be conveying positivity. :) Dredg has no genre---they're a genre all their own, the genre of unique music.
recording equipment has been around for millenia, mang but yeah you're right I should have picked a better word... I meant "recorded" in the way that we record history, not record audio but yeah I am a fool either way hee hee
You've got to be kidding right? I can name you loads of bands/singers who sound great live.. For starters: Jimmy Eat World Lagwagon Rise Against Motion City Soundtrack John Butler Trio Iron & Wine Simon & Garfunkel Bloc Party Adele ... Just a couple out of the top of my head.
nope. I've seen it happen once in the last 1000 years of recorded music. pretty amazing, really, that this is that one time. but seriously, what? I'm not trying to say that they're the same song, I'm just saying that yes, they do sound similar, because they have the same chord progression. as much as you'd like to think that only Dredg can write good music, it's not the case.
i guess this has all just flown over your head, which would explain why you are the *only* poster on this video with two big fat thumbs down. i won't bother explaining any further. enjoy.
2021 and dredg is still in my music list.
this video alone could justifiy the existence of TH-cam.
dude....ive never heard of this band till my friend told me about them and had me listen to them....holy f'ing sh!t!!!! they are amazing....their musicianship is great! and their lyrics are cool too
No kidding!

I have unconditional love for dredg. I think their true fans feel similarly about the band.
Literally, these guys, particularly this album, has been a source of inspiration for almost everything I write. Absolutely wonderful piece of creation.

It’s a shame that the studio audience has no idea the greatness they are witnessing

The best ones are the ones that can be stripped down like this and still be beautiful #amazing
Considering how short your list is against how many bands exist, let alone are famous, he does make a good point.

@TheShadowMystik It's true, they are genre-less, and I love them for it. I love their diversity, it shows how talented they really are as musicians.

How do you pronounce Dredg? :)
I would in all honesty swear my first born child's soul(What?! It's not like I'm gonna sell mine, I'm using it!) to the devil to get my hands on the sheet music.

They should do an "Enjoy the Silence" Cover
look up Failure's cover version... it's incredible.
Best clip at youtube, I promise you.
agreed
we're both arguing the same point, here.
and uh even if we aren't I don't care enough to talk about it anymore
I mean seriously
yeah I guess everyone that wants to see a band that doesn't tour in their area often should in theory just snap their fingers and VOILA
This is high school #2008
from the inside out we will fall mothafockas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
its a takemine in this video
recording equipment has been around for millenia, mang

aww, the acoustic version doesnt have the same vocal progression as the album version. shame. Gavin has a mighty powerful voice.
Missing that beautiful bend note on the main riff. No reason not to do it on an acoustic
