As a crafter who can't get out much and has no crafting buddies around, it's truly delightful to see you two together enjoying some yarny fellowship! Thank you for sharing - it almost feels like being there with you to enjoy the good stuff 😀🎉 but without having to struggle through the adverse conditions. 🌧️😮💨
LOVED LOVED LOVED the “Candy Store of Galore”….postcard parade of your grand adventures in fibers…. what an amazing world full of friendships…. designs…. peoples putting out their best gifts to the world….
💯 agree that the logo would be awesome for a large project tote! I can see using it not just for crochet, but also my hand quilting, cross stitch and bead weaving projects (and even knitting if I ever get beyond basic casting on and garter stitch lol 😄).
I'm so glad to find you here. I follow you on Instagram, but never realized you had a YT channel until Denise mentioned it in her blog. Thank you for being honest but still kind and gracious. I can see why you and Denise are such good friends. You both seem to have a genuine kindness about you and that is so nice to find since many use social media as an opportunity to be negative and condescending.
Seeing you and Denise together brings me SO MUCH JOY! You’re both so soothing and peaceful to watch, so it just makes sense that you’re besties!❤ Great recap, I watched while working out of my new sock size “‘Tis the season to be basic” bag from you that arrived this week.❤❤❤
I am new to your channel and just subscribed! I have heard about Rhinebeck but have had a hard time finding a good video really showcasing it and I have to say I want to go now! Thank you!!
It was absolutely magical getting you see you again! Even if it was in VERY close quarters and only for brief moments. ❤ it’s always an absolute joy to spend time with you.
Great first travel blog! I've been looking forward to your festival reviews. I follow both and Denise so its great to see you together! And I do love pins a lot but I love stickers more!
Enjoyed your recap of the two fiber events! Looking forward to part 2. A nice pattern suitable for your Beautiful mini skein set would be the Land of Sweets cowl by Helen Stewart. It’s a fun knit and would show off each of those gorgeous colors with interesting texture patterns for each different stripe. 🌈💕
So agree about needing space at yarn events. Thanks for sharing your trip. Looking forward to Rhinebeck video, I’m in the UK so not sure I’ll ever make it in person. 😊
I love that people are sharing the names of the vendors who actually lost money due to the layout limiting sales. They are urging us to order from as many of them as we can. Hopefully the organizers will learn from their mistakes and do way better next year. Doesn't it seem that the fiber community is so much more active on the East Coast? We live in the High Desert of So Cal and the nearest yarn store is an hour away. I'd love to have a place to knit and visit and squish the wool! Your vlogs make me feel less alone. I'm so sorry that Wool & Folk was a bust but am glad you found some non people time to recharge.
Come to the Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair in Utah! 🎉 it’s smaller, but we always have such a fantastic time. And it’s right next to SLC, which has a beautiful arts district and lots of amazing restaurants and events. ❤
Me too on sharing of the vendors! I've added the list of vendors to the description here and part 2 and also shared it on Instagram last week. And I think the fiber community is active everywhere! Plus smaller, local festivals are gaining more popularity, which is very exciting! 🥳
@@StitchingtheHighNotes Oh cool. I'm hoping to meet some local knitters but so far, no luck. Our nearest LYS is in Big Bear; an hour away. Also one in Beaumont, just as far but the woman in Big Bear is really nice so I'll stick with her.
On you bundle if mini's... have you thought about a striped cardigan, using those and a skein or two of a neutral? I think it would showcase the gorgeous minis
I am excited to hear about a festival in Portland Oregon. I grew up in the Willamette Valley. How do I find events and wool sources close to where I live now? I would love to buy some local fiber. I have dreams of learning to spin
Ooh that is a good question. I did a bit of research and asked around and I think unfortunately the best way is a good ole google search at the moment for the most up to date information.

Thanks, Sherry! Love the idea of a postcard parade - feels very much like that!
We here in Portland OR are so excited about Sacred Sheep. I hope I see you there!
Oh yay! Hope to see you soon!
Just a thought, your Logo would look gorgeous on a large sweater bag, as well Stitching The High Notes pin would be great new items in your shop. ❤🎉
Great idea!

With the colorful bundle of yarn. A striped tee would look beautiful in all the wonderful colors.❤
Thank you for your Vlog.😊

Ooh good idea! I might have to pair it with another 1 or 2 skeins but love that idea!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you happen to know what pattern the shrug with the shawl collar you looked at at Indie Untangled?
You are most welcome! And I don't believe I do remember, sorry!

Forget about people walking by, feeling awkward in your own car. Not to worry! ❤
