I honestly think MK leo is single handedly evolving the way people play smash.
That character is doing it for him. I thought we got rid of characters with hard comeback mechanics like that in 4.
@@DarthBerial I get that joker is a good character but Pikachu is the best character in the game.. pichu was at one point also but esam and void weren't winning tournaments back and forth. Leo won with Ike, wolf and now he's coming into another character who he built me meta for from the ground up. No other joker does even close to what leo is.. and you realize everyone has to play differently and we're getting to see what each character that faces leo can actually do. Remember Zachery.. I didn't know Rob could be played like that. so good.. and Im a Rob main. So leo just grew and found a character that he can work with

@@DarthBerial what I don't like is the discredit of his already great ability that had been proven even in smash 4. I wanted samsora to win cause I saw how he evolved as smash con. But i know Joker isn't broken and it's just for people to be able to keep up with Leo and surpass him as a player

Guess it's risky considering there's some lag/recovery time when used. I don't think you'd want that being around Leo's Joker
@@matthewroman6807 Yeah sure thing, but I feel like sometimes he could have used it against projectiles for example, or maybe it is that laggy
@@Polo9794 no, you're right. There were times where Samsora could of used it to counter and successfully hit Joker since Joker did rush in. However, it's all based off of Jokers response. You don't know how he'll react to such counters
@@matthewroman6807 Yeah, I guess that against such a good frame data it's a risk that's not worth taking ; especially against a madman like Leo
Polo9794 peach special B is by far the worst counter in the game. It lags, if someone hits you from behind she can turn away from the opponent, slow, gives everyone a chance to punish you if it doesn’t connect. It’s best not to use toad in tournament play

@@SailorWhyachi Normally yeah but with all the air attacks coming from Leo, you'd think he'd use it more often. We all know Leo loves using back and down airs.
Just something I've been wondering about. I know counters typically are risky and very situational, unless you're Joker.
The problem with that is that just sheilding is better option since
A. It can't miss
B. Gives a scramble situation rather then a little bit of a launch
C. Putting joker in disadvantage is useful, sure, but joker literally has one of the best disadvantage state
D. High lag, so if leo predicts it. It's either a ton of damage or a kill
And E. If samsora knows the timings for leo's attacks, parrying would be better at pretty much all times
Captanblue very matchup specific, only good against chrom, ike, a ditto, lucina/marth and a few others other than catching recoveries it is only good at punishing predictabling approaches and landings

I just think that, against Leo, one can use it with less fear since Leo is constantly spamming aerials. It's something I noticed.

Peach and Joker feel like the same character. Except Joker has more neutral control but Peach has better mix.
Nope, Peach doesn't have arsene, or a counter that hits below the stage, or a projectile that does 20+ damage, and she's been nerfed.
Does anyone think samsora bobbing his head as much as he did could be a little annoying for the other player

However this set highlights why the smash community can be so trash. They remind me of the casual hoops fans who hate Golden State just because they win all the time while disregarding how they play some of the best technical basketball of all time
Scrubs who say "GS only shoot 3 pointers!" are the same people who say the idiotic "Nerf Joker! Arsene carries Leo!"
Most of the smash community are really spectator casuals who don't appreciate actual elite gameplay. They just want to be fed their weird version of "entertainment". (How yall love seeing freakin Fox dittos for years while hating HBox's all-time great neutral game will forever astound me).
Watching Leo's Joker and Sam's Peach perform this intricate dance was like an eyegasm yet the horribly biased crowd took away alot of the excitement. Its great to root for the underdog but the deafening silence for the some of the most elite smash play ive ever seen prove that these dudes are casuals and the competitor in me can only shake my head in dissapointment
Mk Leo is amazing in my opinion but I just hate watching joker gameplay😂 I wish he played someone else
