i dont even know if many people pay attention to these kinda details but can we all just appreciate how well done this overlay is? no colored-bar nonsense, no constantly shifting animation BS, just a clean view of the players, a title card with the tournament progression, one batch for the sponsor and the teamlogos on the character portraits where the spirit icon would go.

Debatable, i agree its very good, however the letters are very small for mw ti read them. Maybe they could have made them bigger. I had difficulty reading them, especially during the livestream while Watching it on a tv.
The only thing is they might want to add a solid background behind some of the team logos like EUnited, since they can be hard to see against some character portraits

The thing about mkleo's Ike isn't that he's boring and just using the same move. It's the timing and spacing, and that he's ABLE to keep hitting the same move against all these top players.

He's an amazing player. It's just still boring imo because so much of his toolkit is reliant on nair.

@@jorgeagredo8701 I get what he means though. She used a lot of different moves, but once she caught you it's all pretty much the same combo. Salem was figuring out some different trickery toward the end of sm4sh, but it still wasn't all that different form her usual gameplan

? I noticed the empty hops into grabs on shield and misstimed parries more , parry certainly helps the match up though
@@Marcusjnmc it was more so during the first game, I should have clarified. My bad homie. I feel that as the meta continues to develop and people really start utilizing parry to its full potential, people will stop complaining about Ikes nair

Im SOOOOO thankful a lot of characters have a chance even wii fit was in the tournaments, and you can feel the excitemente that "a lot of matchups might happen" not only clouds corrins and bayonettas

At 14:35 Mkleo misses a kill confirm because of the yoshis story slant at the ledge, the full hop nair should have landed ike onto that platform leading to a guaranteed up-air but because ike jumped the slant and was lower ikes full hop did not reach

@@Thesomeguy248 if it doesn't work with those inputs on that stage then presumably there are adaptations that can help it function there & the game's just to young to of learnt them yet , a miss is still a miss
@@Marcusjnmc there Probs was no other inputs to make it work. if he double jumped he would have landed slower and it wouldnt have been a kill confirm, the only thing he could have done was not be on a slant, which is why slants suck dick.

Ike is very good, but he is gonna start going down a bit because of his recovery. He is very exploitable with anyone who has counters and a good projectile offstage. I also think Leo played way too safe in this match. There were a couple of side-Bs offstage from Samsora that he could have punished with a FSmash.

@@Lightning-gg5iu feels like Clouds who are really good at neutral can really benefit by applying their experience to Ike, most Clouds who are sticking it out aren't even abusing bair as much as they could be though, & top 8 would be a reach regardless at this stage, the top players are insane, though many people could apply themselves to get that good I reckon it would take months to get on a level with people who are already dedicated as well as already that good & improving still, still months to get good isn't like looking at years to get on a level.

These 2 are the most entertaining matchup in smash ultimate. Its always so fucking close.

I believe that If you miss a counter you can get punished for not using it correctly thats why they only use it when they are 100 percent sure..
