Love this camper! For the Dinette haters, table is great for a boardgames or puzzle on a rainy day! We went to Lost Lake in Oregon for what was basically a monsoon rain storm the first day/night. We got a few games of Catan Jr. with the boys after setup and before bed. For me, I would probably ditch the TV altogether cause its 2024 and I have an Ipad for shows and a laptop for other shows or video games and a phone and a bluetooth latern/speaker and a yoto player...
@@Coolguyjason Not a dinette hater🙄but, for those of us who only want to sit at a dinette when we’re reading a menu to order breakfast, wouldn’t it be nice if “dinette lovers” weren’t so against giving other people a comfortable residential sofa or theater seating “option”😂🤣😂
This is now my dream camper. Small dinette is a compromise I can live with. Bean bags or moveable ottomans can work. Nothing like coming back from a hike on a hot day and having a space to crash in the air conditioning. Converting the dinette table to free-standing might also help.
Love the sink and trash set up!! Ketchup, mustard and Mayo was one of the funniest things I've heard in so long. Wow, they LOVE stickers! It's funny to see the labeling! And to make this video special, "Crap Tap"! Brilliant!!! We have so much fun learning! Thanks
Hey Josh, I really like this set up. And I love the counter space as well as the storage space in the kitchen. Definitely gonna make a huge difference! I do think they need to give you an option of the dinette or possibly theater seats or a couch. I just think it makes more sense. Because you can set up a portable table on any one of those. I know the side counters in the bedroom or boxy, but I actually liked that. Plenty of room for your phone or CPAP. As for thebunks, you already know I don’t like those lol. The bathroom is OK although I always wish they would improve the height of the shower. I’m only 69 inchs tall but I prefer not banging around in the shower while I’m trying to take a shower. On the outside I like the griddle, although I really wish they would put a table that slid out of the side of the trailer to use for sitting and eating or to hold prepped food. And then when you’re done, just slide it back into the trailer. But I always thought that that would be a cool thing to do. All in all like I said, I like the RV, but not my cup of tea. So keep Rockin Josh. We will get there on day lol
I love my biscuits..lol Great pantry storage slideouts. Like the Rack and Pinion and the garbage can storage is the bomb. I wish more would do that..Thanks Josh!
ROFL - Ketchup, mayo and mustard is a new way to define color TV. Thanks Josh -- I actually like the dinette but other options are always good. The Pantry and Kitchen sink are fantastic. I like the TV and Fireplace.
Good looking unit, to Steve's point, that's why we're looking at a 5th wheel to get a bit more rainy day space for all 5 of us. Also editor; I LOVE the text bubbles for updating follow up details. Thanks!
I agree about the seating. I have never understood how you are going to make a camper that sleeps 6-8 but has seating for 4....tops! I know its the "go outside" thing. I used to just bring in foldable chairs or I bought my kids bean bags. I will tell you that I like the spice rack spot above the microwave. It seems like they try to put to use every available spot that is available. I like the bigger, deep drawers with the utensil slide. I like the sliding pantry as well. The greater the angle on the front wall, the longer you need your mattress. It pushes your head away from the "headboard" and if you are tall, it makes your feet hang off. I also like that the bunks only have a corner radius instead of alot of campers that cut off soo much you are looking at a "twin" size mattress because of your loss of square footage. Alliance seems to be a well built camper. Just from the outside looking in, I have not done a ton of research. Keep going. Your videos give me something to entertain myself. (that sounded bad) LOL.
Everything is workable in this one. It gives access to camping and comfort to sleep, eat and stay dry, while you sleep feeling secure. If people want to get out to watch tv, put the
Dinette into a bed, and put quilts and pillows on it. There's enough room in this so you don't feel on top of each other. The bedroom has good storage, and can give you a place to escape the chaos. I'm glad the bunks have a designated ladder, window in each bunk and outlets. The main door needs a shade, and the bathroom needs a decent fan. It also needs a porcelain toilet. The shower is great, as long as I can use it to wash lol. This is great for what it's intended for. It's for some comfort while having an outdoor holiday. #nerdherd #rvnerdherd
Love the condiment dispenser idea. I need whatever your drinking.😂 Thanks for a great review and if possible can you try to review the new Coachmsn Northern Spirit 2353 RB ? Thanks
I agree with Steve that just a dinette is no bueno! And I don’t know why I’ve never seen these before, but the slide out seal helper things, can you add those to a camper that doesn’t have them or do they require certain extra space if they don’t account for it??
1) I get the feeling that you made this video customized for me to buy this unit. It may be a contender lol. 2) Would the extra flooring material eventual flatten down or will it always be bubbly if it wrinkles? 3) I have an idea that could help viewer Steve Z and the rest of the class. While Alliance may not offer a swaption, could one on their own take out the dinette, then purchase a couch system of their liking that fits in that area and install it? 4) Along with item #3, I suppose if someone didn’t need those bunk beds, could one take them out and install a desk so that they could have an office if need be? Here is a swaption idea for you Alliance if you are reading this.. 5)Oven looks big enough for cookies 🍪, biscuits, and pizza 🍕 to me 🙃 6) Love the pantry storage. 7) Bedroom definitely CPAP compliant 👍👍 - Thank You Alliance!!! 8) Question on the bedroom tv mount. I understand how you said that there really isn’t another way to mount the tv; however, would it have been possible to have made a ceiling mount for it and the sliding door could just slide behind it? Perhaps even have the mount drop down for a better viewing angle? Alliance, something to look into. I’ll take one of these for free for my improvement fee thank you 😂 9) Condiment dispenser. I’ll have to use that one. 😂 10) The bunk windows open correct? If they have a screen and it’s a nice night, couldn’t you just open the window? On a hot night I guess you’ll have to use a portable fan to blow on that person. 11) Ok, so my late model 1/2 ton is a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD 4WD with a 6.0 L engine (a heavy half). The door sticker ratings are as follows: GVWR 8600 #’s GAWR front 4410 #’s GAWR rear 6000 #’s Rear axle is a 3.73 And if I’m looking at the correct column in the back of the book, it says a maximum trailer weight of 8200 #’s and a GCWR of 14,000 #’s. I live in west central IL. Would you consider my truck 🛻 being a flat land Michigan towing rig or would this be capable enough for the mountainous regions for this particular Alliance camper? 12) A larger awning would’ve been nice. I believe if an awning manufacturer had a request from an RV manufacturer for any sized awning and the order was big enough, that the awning manufacturer would comply and make it for them. After all, that’s what they are in business for. Can’t have too big of a covered camp space for the rain and shade if you ask me. 13) I looked several times and I did not notice a spare tire. Does it come with one? If so, where is it? 14) I know you said that the 200w solar is a battery tender, but could an additional one or two panels be daisy chained to work for more power? 15) Could this camper be considered a baby Brinkley or a poor man’s Brinkley? 16-37) Nice job to both Mr. Editor and Uncle Josh the RV Nerd (aka Professor Nerd 🧑🏫 🤓 🙃🤣) for this very informational video.
If there was just a comfortable sofa or theater seating “option” for the neck wrecker Denny’s diner booth dinette, then EVERYONE would be able to choose the seating that best fits their personal needs👍👍👍but, it’s beyond disappointing to see an Alliance😳with a cheap plastic toilet, and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan😩
Nice the see a smaller camper with bigger features! Nice living space. The bathroom is too small for me. Do they make a model with a huge bathroom in the back. The bedroom is good. Over its good. Do they make a new bedroom with 2 baths floor plan? Thank you.
The lack of an exterior bedroom door is a deal breaker. 1/3 of the camper (where I should be loading it) is lost without opening slide. Why the industry shifted to removing it over the past few years is mind boggling to me.
Hey Josh, what is the biggest differences between the 241 and the 281? I know it’s like 2 or 3 ft and a seating layout. But I’m looking for the in-depth nitty gritty differences. My husband is really interested in the 241 but I’m in love with the 281 (2024 is the one I’ve seen but I know the 2025 is different?) so we just need help breaking the tie breaker. Thanks for everything Josh and keep being epic! ❤
Best way I can describe it quickly: The 241 is the more basic "ultralite" series with one seat in the slide The 281 is the "Full" delta with a super slide (two seats) I can't provide a full breakdown here but think of it like comparing a Chevy Malibu Mid-Size car in the basic LS trim package to a Chevy Impala Full Size with the LT Upgraded trim

more and more we find ourselves just watching our phones even at home lol

Awesome from tip to tail for my families needs. 👍🏻👍🏻
All of your videos push me further and further towards buying an Airstream. I can’t wait! 🤩
Whatever helps. I've always felt like my job is to help you feel more confident in an RV purchase -- even if that means THIS isn't the rv for you
Condiment dispensers 😂 I’m gonna use that one on my daughter in the next few days that’s a good one.

it's tricky when you're trying to jam 35ft of rv into 30ft of space. Something has to give
Theater seating with table trays and a slide out dinette from under the TV. Optional curtain instead of sliding door.
Everything is workable in this one. It gives access to camping and comfort to sleep, eat and stay dry, while you sleep feeling secure.

Josh, as a Christmas special we should have a bloopers reel!
#nerdherd #rvnerdherd
nice unit , what if they put side out switch by kitchen by bedroom where you could stop road side and get in bedroom and slide back in. just a thought
#Nerdherd! 🇨🇦
Looking for a half ton toy hauler with a big living room has been tough

#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
New to the RV scene & I was wondering what type of cookware can you use in a propane oven or cook top
Basically same stuff you'd use at home (unless you use an induction cooktop)
@JoshtheRVNerd aluminum steel. I don't even have a clue. I miss my wife
I have a question for you uncle josh do you still have motorized rvs still?
Josh, you keep being you..
😅
not a lot of danger of me becoming someone else thankfully! :)

🎉#NerdHerd
Do they make a non slide out model at all?
Not YET but it's likely coming in time
@ Thanks!
It really needs a sofa instead of the dinette.
That would be my pick as well
Put a pantry in place of the bunks
Or expand the bathroom
Crap tap? New nerdism? Overall OK, nothing that really makes it stand out.
Bunks suuuuuuuuck
It would be better if it had a torsion actual suspension!
