    Thanks Stuart - good comparison; throw the Bosch in the dustbin, if you're working with the drill yourself and will take good care of it - get the DeWalt, if you have a crew using the tools and don't want to cry when one gets damaged - Ingco all the way...

    Great work team northern bolt and tool! My only suggestion is to use higher capacity batteries so that the batteries aren't the limitation to achieve maximum performance and compare that to their specifications. The torque test channel on TH-cam demonstrates the advantage higher capacity batteries have on cordless power tools regardless of the type of tool being tested.
    Great to see Ingco compared to the more well-known brands and seeing what I experience myself owning this drill when compared to the competition.

    • @NorthernBoltandTool
      @NorthernBoltandTool  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, great question, so once testing is complete these will go into our 'demo tool' inventory for demonstrations or when someone needs a repair we can give them a tool to use while their unit is being repaired.
      Alternatively we sell the tools on as demo units at a reduced price.

    • @0togtr811
      @0togtr811 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @NorthernBoltandTool I've never seen a demo tool section at your shop or is it on your website. It would be very unfair to the customer if it's just repackaged and sold. Where is this demo section and when do these tools go on sale?

    • @NorthernBoltandTool
      @NorthernBoltandTool  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@0togtr811 We do not have a dedicated demo section in store but if we have a customer that is unsure of the tool, we will demo the tool for them from our pool of demo units - thus these demos are on a per request basis. We also use Demo tools to go out into the field to show prospective customers what the particular tool can do - a very powerful marketing technique. These tools are also given out to customers on loan should a repair be required. If you come into our store we have two black tables where all the demo / used tools get sold at a reduced price. We have had this setup for a few years now. We mostly only sell these demo tools when that particular item gets discontinued as a model. We make this very clear to anyone purchasing these tools that they have in fact been used and the price reflects this. So long story short, we have many uses for our tools we use in our videos, and all the activities revolve around marketing. I hope this helps? If you come in you are more than welcome to come and see us - we will show you all the tools used in our videos.

      When you switch the cordless to the Drill function, it will always use max torque available on both speed setting (the clutch is bypassed in drill mode, so there is no slippage and the motor will push till it stalls))

      My friend I am also a dewalt fan, i have 15 tools myself, trust me these inco tools are not the same quality, and how long will these tools last especially when you are using them everyday! A diy er use inco ,not a professional / tradesmen ,we use proper tools! Dewalt makes a 3 beam laser which is guaranteed of upto a 4 foot drop without the need of recalibration !!!! Just one example......😊

      @@GideonduPlessis I agree with you fully. I'm very impressed with my range of dewalt tools. I've bought a few off-brand power tools on Amazon in the US, and you can tell the difference in build quality when you work with them.
      But, on that note, I believe that ingco is really not bad for it's target market, not everybody wants to pay R2500 to R6000 for one tool.
      The diy'er as you've mentioned, is the perfect customer to target for the ingco range.

I'd love to see ingco bring out a drill as powerful as Dewalt top of line drill, and on the side note, I'd like to see ingco bring out a larger battery then the 7.5 ah because I'm struggling with mine using the grinder and other power intensive tools for a long period of time. • @NorthernBoltandTool

      Hi there, you might be surprised at how well they last compared to these types of brands, we have many contractors that have been buying the Ingco brand of power and hand tools for years and the feedback they provide is that they last just as long, sometimes longer than the more premium brands but Ingco comes in at a fraction of the cost. This has been the status quo for at least the past 5 / 6 years since they released the 20v P20s platform.

      @NorthernBoltandTool well, as a person who myself has purchased an ingco drill can tell you they're lying. How does the "Ah" affects performance? It's just the capacity bruh. "Ah" is the same as "mah" in your regular low voltage batteries. If i have a 20,000mah powerbank, it's the same as the 20Ah powerbank. Let's keep it clear. Ah and mAh are just capacities. What it affects is the time you will be able to use the device continuously.

    I used to be a tool snob . (We never run down our expensive purchases or admit to bying a dud.) I am also a DIYer. I only purchased only Bosch , Makita, etc.; these are mostly corded products. I started getting a bit peeved every time I wanted to drill a hole to hang a picture or for mounting the solar stuff and having to find an extension cord , chuck key, etc. I had a Bosch cordless, which got stolen. I desperately needed a drill on a Sunday and purchased a cheapy Shultz non impact drill ( that was about 8 years ago and its worked hard droped off lader etc and still going strong, which made me think about what tools I need in general . )
    I then decided it was time for cordless and started looking around. DeWalt / Makita cordless are overpriced for a DIY person. Stanley is difficult to source. (DeWalt also make Stanley and Black & Decker) So I was left with basically Bosch , Ryobi and a few others. When Ingo came on the market, I wondered what the products were like . My first purchase was a cordless screwdriver. I was so impressed that the Bosch never gets used any more. When I decided to buy a cordless impact drill, I purchased the Ingo (same as one in the test), as they seem to have a large variety of readily available products . I can't express how impressed I am with the product. A couple of minutes to drill a hole for a picture frame incuding fetching the drill out of the garage. . I undid the wheel nuts on the trailer that have never been removed. ( I did use the 4AH battery as you get more torque.) So as to the review, I see exactly where the reviver is coming from. Excellent tool at a good price. The pricing has allowed me to expand the system.
    As to long levity, time will tell. Although I have had issues with Bosch. I went to Hello Peter to look at support reviews from the major suppliers, and they all get about 2 stars for service, including DeWalt.

It is tough to make a decision when making a purchase, especially your first purchase into a cordless range as you are kind of committed to the system you choose. I have a bunch of older Bosch tools in good condition but can't find replacement batteries. The batteries I can find cost more than a new tool. Also no service centres close by. Some minor parts also not available unless you want to break the bank. Maybe it's time for a new make.

    An interesting video, but its unfair to compare maximum screwing torque while using the drill setting! A more meaningful and fair comparison would be to set each drill to its maximum torque setting, say 12, or 13 or whatever, then try it in gear one and gear two and measure the torque before the clatter clutch releases and saves the motor. That would give you highest torque output. Demonstrating them as you did, with them set to drill, the clutch cannot release and it does not compare how well it can perform against a high torque load. It really compares how strong your wrists are. You need the lowest gear, and stiffest clatter clutch setting. I have both a DeWald and Ingco, and the DeWald is in a class of its own under high load. Drilling and Screwing tight are two different activities. The first needs power, the second needs torque and that is protected by a clutch.

    One of the reasons dewalt is more expensive is the fact that the tough tstack system box is much stronger durable than the rest,as said it can be stacked wich is a must when working from your bakkie so nothing can fall around at the back while driving! the locking meganisms are metal and the hinge part has a metal bar running through for xtra strength!!!another thing almost all of dewalt tools come in their strong tough cases not carton boxes like inco for example. Inco tools guys are for the diy ers working from their garages its not a professional every day tool on job sites. Would love to see inco been submurged like dewalt and still work......?go search for that one of dewalt, havent find a inco one yet. come on guys dewalt is in another league shouldn't even been part of this video! In my opinion dewalt is in the same league as makita ,festool,Milwaukee, hilti.check VCG construction on you tube.i am not thumb sucking this message, i have 13 different dewalt brushless tools .......dewalt lover😊

      How come increasing the battery capacity, increases the output force of the device? It's the same Voltage. Just the capacity was changed. And the device is sucking out constant current in the battery. Let's be clear, do not mislead other people regarding 8.0Ah, 6.0Ah, 5.0Ah, 4.0Ah, 2.0Ah being larger means more powerful. No no no. Bigger Ah batteries are made for people who tend to use the device for a longer period of time. More juice, more work can be done. It means, no frequent charging needed. Bigger capacity comes with a trade also, charging time is very long.

      More Amps = more Amps.
      Volt × Amp = Watt (Watt = unit of power)

    • @leeedwardtayson9141
      @leeedwardtayson9141 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PieterL747 no bro. Integrated circuits are designed with constant amperage. Resistors also are not varying. Output power will always be the same. That's why they are labeled as 60Nm. It is not calculated as voltage x ampere. Ampere-hour is different from Ampere. Ampere-hour is the capacity of the battery. While Ampere is the current drawn by the device to the battery.

    • @leeedwardtayson9141
      @leeedwardtayson9141 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PieterL747 there are more things other than ohm's law. We cannot feed too much current on the device because it will burn its circuitry. The device is intelligent enough to suck what current is needed. For example, a cordless impact drill with 2Ah battery will run out for 1 hour of continuous usage. If 4Ah will be used, it will last for 2 hours. And if that same battery 2Ah is used in Circular saw which consumes more current, it will only last for about 30minutes of continuous usage. And 1 hour for 4Ah.
      INGCO didn't label their power tools the Current input required because they have their own universal batteries which can be used in all of their power tools. It's up to you to pick what battery will fit for your work-hours. But each and every power tool is sucking current from the batteries at a different rate from each other.

      @@PieterL747 trust me. I'm an Electronics engineer and I also practice electrical circuitry. Capacity (Ah) is different from Current drawn by the device from the battery (A).
      Remember those times when we can change our cellphone's batteries? Ever bought a high capacity battery before? Those with higher mAh (miliAmp-hour) batteries. It never increases your phone's performance. It will only last longer.

      Hi there, we can assure you nothing has been sponsored and we have purchased everything with our own money. It is your prerogative if you would like to spend X2.5 more for a marginal performance gain, but from a price / value proposition Ingco wins hands down. One needs to consider the whole picture in order to make a proper informed purchasing decision.

    What a poor showing from bosch! (they will get the upper case letter back if they earn it) Dewalt is overpriced in the south African market and Ingco is the best budget option when it comes to getting brushless versions of tools you already have in the brushed form. Only ingco tool I've been extremely disappointed with was the beautiful looking large vacuum cleaner wth the stainless steel drum. Unfortunately it's extremely underpowered. If Ingco made that exact shape vacuum in 36V (twin battery slots, and a better filter system) and a brushless motor they would dominate the cordless vacuum cleaner market

    Am I wrong when I say that these drills are all drill drivers with impact settings???the guy on making this video keep calling them impact drivers or drills so my question is then what is an an impact drill then???inco will never be as good as dewalt ,dewalt has been around for many years,would like to see more variety of dewalt tools though.
