Yes, you are getting both Michael and Stevie…Jonah’s voice is incredibly agile and his runs are impeccable given how intricate some of them are.
Keep going. You would probably dig Breakdown, Thriller, Follow the light.
What I find most extraordinary - after their sheer talent and skills - is that they are making music they love. They didn't think anyone else would be interested at first, they got together to "play the music that would get them fired from a job." So there are no purity tests, no worrying about whether it's this or that - just simply do they love the music they are creating? Yep, both MJ and Stevie influences in Jonah's voice. But he ranges through them and through 80's pop and gospel too. It's extraordinary. THEY are extraordinary.

Btw they’re considered jazz fusion but incorporate elements of gospel, funk, pop, etc. Breakdown is a must listen to. It’s a ballad. One of the rare few they have lol. I can honestly say I’ve not yet heard a bad song from them. Pick anything & you won’t be disappointed. Just pls keep reacting to them!

Great reaction - one of the great things about Dirty Loops is that you can't take it all in at once which means that you'll discover new gems every time you re-listen. Another fantastic thing is that their songs are at the same time very diverse but all have the very distinct Dirty Loops sound each containing surprises and a lot of them humor as well. Also great to see some of their older songs - if you want another song with some Stevie Wonder vibes not only in the vocals check out "Accidentally in love"!

First time I saw this video, obviously one of their earliest, while its excellent the production level is about 5 steps behind something like Work Shit Out. Matter of fact, I highly suggest that video.
