    came here after watching kono oto tomare and when i saw this instrument in the anime i felt like it was really amazing to see irl so i opened yt and searched for some performances.
    I’m so so surprised this performance is so good i loved it, i’ll always be thankful to kono oto tomare for making me discover this beautiful instrument!!

      same here, good thing i didn't drop the anime because i usually drop most slice of life anime because they can be boring sometimes if the events are not made correctly. It made me realize that there are instruments out there that are really beautiful

    Isn't it funny how different stringed instruments have such different characters? The koto I find lovely and dramatic. It imparts a sense of.. importance. Like a deeper truth? This is a wonderful composition.

    when i come here just after i read manga about koto. i feel kinda amazed and sad. amazed for the bautiful performance, amazed on how they can link diferent things (manga+koto) help "promoting each other" to the world and sad over the fact in my country most people doesnt really cherish our culture . forget about promoting our culture to the world, most of young generation not even know much bout their local culture

    Absolutely fascinating. I watched one sweet lady this weekend playing one of these instruments solo in a flower garden. That was wonderful. Now this as an orchestration is...Stupendous.     Whoa, I knew the koto, but I never thought it was used for anything else than traditional japanese music. I just simultaneously discovered the mindblowing sound a koto ensemble can produce, and also all the incredibly beautiful modern classical music that is written in Japan. It's like discovering a whole new world of music that was hidden to me before. Congratulations to Sawai Hikaru and Soemon ensemble !

    低音が響いて揃ってるのがカッコいい!
    普通に聞いた事ある筝の演奏は日本が強くて聞いてみたい気にはならなかったから、尚更思っていた日本の筝とは違い余計びっくりしました😲
