I decided to go with the base 15 which takes some of the pro features from the 14 pro. I went from the 12 to a S22 ultra and now back to Apple. My Samsung just started losing mobile days randomly in areas with good coverage. I did all the troubleshooting except for a factory reset. At that point I say I shouldn't have to do a reset to make the phone do what it's supposed to do.
I hate Samsung and I hate the Google Pixel 7pro which is what I currently have right at this moment I have already ordered an iPhone 14 pro just waiting for it in the mail and I completely agree with you about you shouldn't have to reset your phone to get it to do what its supposed to especially when its supposed to be a flagship phone and you spent over 800 dollars on it. My pixel 7 pro which cost me 1100 just turns off randomly ill be driving and listening to my music and and have phone connected to the car via Bluetooth and and I'll get to here I'm going and park the car and get out and I'll grab my phone from the center console and my phone will literally just be off and I'll have to turn it back on it's happened multiple times since and has only just recently started doing this. Not only that I went to Google and looked up why pixel 7 pro keeps turning off and the question is locked by Google with no answer and has 400 plus other people that have the same question. As far as Samsung goes my grandpa had. Note 10 and couldn't run his insulin pump for his diabetes through an app which he paid 800 plus for so he returned it and bought the s22 ultra and speaker or microphone literally fell out which he also then had to return and paid over 800 plus for and now he has the Samsung s23 seen him the other day and he said he thinks the microphone is going out when he takes phone calls it makes noises and cuts in and out which again he paid well over 800 dollars for. He has had a good case on all 3 of his Samsungs and a screen protector and isn't rough with them. I switched from an iPhone 8 plus to a Google pixel 7 pro and plan on switching back to an iPhone will never come back to Android
Thanks for your 1 year review. I do enjoy seeing the different experiences folks have with this phone. Kinda kelps me see what to expect with mine. One thing I’d mention is that Apple changed the minimum focus distance with the main camera making it extremely awkward to use at the normal distance we’re all used to. With the 14 Pro you have to move the phone back a few inches from the subject then zoom in a tiny bit to get it back in frame. It’s super annoying and I hate that they changed that because it completely changes the composition of the photo/video.
I just got a 14pro purple & i said to myself this feels like one of my iPhones from early 2011-2014 sure enough it gives nostalgia of an IPhone 5 or 5s crazy . But i like that brings back memories ❤
The focus issue you are talking about is because the iPhone 14 pro has a bigger minimal distance for focus. It was 15cm(5,9 inches) in all the previous iPhones, but they increased it to 20cm(7,88 inches)
This is where I feel like Apple should discount the last gen Pro models in order to sell them more. I know carriers will like have some deals but with the battery health issues the Pro and Pro Max had they should sell them for less. Because if it's only $100 lees it isn't a good deal and at that point the upgrades on the 15 Pro makes it a much better long term investment.
I feel like the 15pro is like a 14S. I got my 14pro and AW series 8 on 8/13/23 bc I lost my 13 mini. I could've waited another month with a backup phone but im glad I got the 14pro. if the 16pro has a significant change I'll upgrade. but if not im staying with my 14 pro. and you are right accessories are cheaper now for the 14pro. TIP: check marshals for apple cases and Apple Watch straps for less than 20$ 😅 edit: the macro mode sucks on our phones. you made a lot of valid points. you got yourself a new sub. thanks
I love my 14 pro max, holding on to it for another year or two. Plus I got the last gold iPhone 👏 I’ve had my 14 pro max for 9 months. Battery health dropped to 98% no biggie, since I could get a battery replacement from Apple. I do want the ultra watch 2
I wish I could have your voice for audio books and the bible app. So soothing. I'm looking forward to getting the brighter display on the 15 pro max. My main complaint for the 12 pro max and z fold 4 is how hard they are to view in sunlight.
I got the 14pm back in Feb the experience has been great no issues or any major bugs the camera is fantastic especially the video the a16 feels like the newest processor and the battery life has been great too even with aod and super heavy use I can get a full day and some so yes the 14 pro series is great
first I want to get iPhone 15 pro but what I see now on TH-cam about how bad the iPhone 15 pro is in battery overheat and the durability I'm not considering to get the 14 pro
There’s no way my homie gets 6 hours SOT with 5G, using social media and gaming, with display active as well as background refresh and all the features.
As an android user if i was going to switch i would go with the 15 pro just because of the the USB-C but for other iPhones user looking to upgrade definitely get the 14pro better buy
if you enjoyed the video, don't forget to like and subscribe 😁
the smaller 14 pro is my favorite out of all of them. It’s just right
I Concur
I’ve had a good experience with my 14 Pro that I’ve owned for about 10 months now, still holding at 100 percent battery health
youtube.com/@user-rk2yj5dj6z?si=NbPlbabUpgdHRpJm
what did you do to keep it at 100 percent?
@@farouqzrg9999 its very lightly used, I use iPads for almost everything. Its still at 100%
How ?

I bought the iphone 14 pro secondhand like brandnew with 92% battery health for $650
it's from a woman so you know it got taken good care of it

Honestly, the new iPhone 15 lineup is extremely underwhelming. People would do much better buying older phones. Maybe the 12 or the 13?
I agree, the 14 pro is still great.
For you it’s underwhelming but for the general population who will purchase it is a huge upgrade.
@@julieeagle3 definitely, what iPhone do you have?
Should I get iPhone 14 pro or 15
I can get one with same price herw
Yeah I CANNOT get over the TOY FEEL of 15 pro
I wish I could have your voice for audio books and the bible app. So soothing. I'm looking forward to getting the brighter display on the 15 pro max. My main complaint for the 12 pro max and z fold 4 is how hard they are to view in sunlight.
A17 pro has severe thermal and throttling issues leading to poor battery life when compared to 14 pro max
Carry AC unit with it
Wait for iphone 23 with water cooling
The 14 series is the last variant that has the iconic premium aesthetic of iPhone 5/s which I think has the best design to date.
i bought a 14 pro max in basicly new condition for 850 could not be more satisfied
Iphone 14 pro is really worth it except for the bad battery life over time
I don’t have any battery issues
Is it random 🤔

I don’t know if you remember but I’m getting this phone in a few weeks
Iphone 14 pro or iphone 14 po max which is best 👀🤔
Pro max!!
You’re wallpaper is dope!
What’s the name?
I think the upgrade will be worth it for coming from a iPhone xs
How do you manage not to stare and be distracted by the dynamic island?
Don’t buy it . Mine as all my friends who own 14 pro get the battery health dramatically drop to less than 90% after just ten months use.
mines at 90% also and i have 14 pm
My batteeie was quite good until this last 3 months where it went from 98% to 94% but it stills last 2 days of normal use

What racing game are you playing bro?
IPhone 14pro ❤
The 14 pro was always the better deal. Even if you had a 13 pro it was worth the upgrade.
Iphone 14 pro max user here... Love the review, is an upgrade to the 15 worth it?
Maybe
No, it’s underwhelming the 15
BRO YOU BOUGHT A PHONE FOR 1100 JUST TO KEEP IT FOR FEW MONTS DONT UPGRADE IT TILL 17
What’s that wallpaper ?
3:09 wch game is it?

🔥🔥
Omg 5x, bruh get iPhone users out of here
gift please ❤
When I’m on FaceTime my 14pro dies really fast and oh do not I repeat do not use the phone in the heat your overall battery percentage will decrease
