These are breathtaking! Love the added finishing touches!!!! The napkins are gorgeous. I would have been tempted to put the original twine and beads back on the heart. I love that you had the vision to use gold. I am going to google the gold paint you use and put that on my list, too. So often, I watch you add that to a project and am flabbergasted at what a subtle, but powerful change it makes. Th owls are my favorites! Those were cute napkins and there were so many on one sheet. I was busy up cycling brown store shopping bags this week. I used gesso over the logo and then applied Christmas napakins. I have a lot of holiday napkins that I love and have been looking for projects to use. Well I know what I will be doing this week. This is an exciting idea for sure!!!! I will be gluing layers of cereal box cardboard, as I don’t have the substrates. Mi might even make some coasters. Gluing is just as relaxing and fun as painting!!!! TFS. I did. Hello Evelyn. I agree, gluing is just as relaxing as painting and if you can mix the two together, then perfect 💕. Treasure Gold is a bit tricky to get hold of in some areas, but I am told that Pebeo Gilding Wax is just as good and very similar. It lasts for ever and unlike Inka Gold, it can be thinned with spirits if it starts to harden. As you know, I am a little obsessed with the stuff. Your bag project sounds wonderful and I’m sure they look wonderful adorned with gorgeous napkins. Stay safe and have a wonderful week 💕 X
I have been thinking of you all day and smiling. I had to watch this again because I want to make sure I use my owl tissue correctly. I can’t believe that someone would use something so beautiful for anything but an art project. The mail I got today made me very happy!!!!!!! I am so blessed to learn so much from you!!!!

Thanks Janet. If you search ‘decoupage napkins’ on eBay you will find dedicated sellers that have the most amazing selections. You can also buy them in packs of 4 rather than the usual 20. I hope you find some 💕

Oh those owls are so gorgeous! I have an assortment of Christmas napkins in that same size coming from a Canadian Etsy store. Now I'm even more excited for them to arrive! Good morning nina, loved this video so much, I love the way you carefully put the ornaments together and they looked beautiful, really.. Unlike other years people in the netherlands are already decorating for christmas, much earlier than usual, we all long for warmth and light at the end of the covidtunnel we're in. Hello Lena. Steve tested positive for Covid just over 2 weeks ago and has been very unwell. Glad to say he is now on the mend and today was the first time we have been out in the fresh air since. We took a lovely walk down by the river and were amazed at the number of houses we saw that had put their decorations up early. I think you are right, people of longing for the warmth and light they provide. This is the earliest I have ever started my preparations as I usually refuse to even think about Christmas until December, but I have to say I have really enjoyed this month’s challenges and I’m ahead of my game for once which is a nice feeling. After decoupaging napkins on anything crafty, I take a craft iron and parchment paper and go over the image ... VALAH...no wrinkles!

These are all just beautiful, Nina. I do sometimes go and 'beg' some offcuts from the framer's but I've never had a round one. Mine have always been either square or rectangular so I'll ask next time to see if they have round ones. Thanks for yet another lovely and informative video. I love this week's challenge.
