Please, give us high mileage hero series II!
I bought a tired 02 gttdi 130 golf two years ago. Tidied it up and drove it for a year, sold it 8 months ago when it was very tidy. 220000 on the clock. I bought it back two months ago (wrecked). Broken back axle collapsed front suspension and absolutely filthy. Two weeks solid work and a second hand axle and TT front end and it's back in good shape again. 230000 on it now.
Never clicked so quick in my life!!!!
The fact the lorry driver said he "couldnt see him" is outrageous, there is a front blindspot mirror on most trucks to see Directly infront of them which he seemed to have. He must of had just too much fun pushing Jack along.
The lorry driver was too busy changing gears and murdering prostitutes.
Lorry drivers have more blind spots than visible spots.
Please keep it even after you repaired the GTi . I mean you just made me start looking for B 6th A4s and wanting one badly.
ive been seeing that jazz whenever i look for a cheap car, been on there for months
An Audi with 540.000 miles
Scotty Kilmer: Am I a joke to you?
Scotty Kilmer is a joke to anyone with more car knowledge than a 5 year old girl.
@@ferrumignis He's not trying to be a car guy for car guys. He is just trying to give advice to the average person. The only people who don't like him are those who don't get what he's doing or butthurt fanboys of the brands he rightfully trashes.
@@Tree.fiddy. He is a dangerously incompetent idiot with a massive chip on his shoulder about European cars. He deserves to be treated as the joke he is.
Right? All my 7 Audis have a total of 2.8 million km on them and all have their original gearbox, engine and turbos.
@@GERntleMAN to be fair it's a Diesel with a Manual he doesn't have a problem with. he said it about gasoline models and since most in the United States are automatics I have to agree with him.

Lmao I was literally looking at that blue micra the other day for a mate and then it pops up on here 😂
I've got a 2002 VW Passat GLX Estate. Its got the 2.8 30V V6 a 5spd manual gearbox, and i use it every day. I've had it a little over a year and a couple weeks ago it rolled over 250,000. Original engine and trans, someone put a nice set of black Audi 17 inch wheels on it. When I bought it the check engine light was on, and i talked the guy down nearly $600 from his asking price. Kelly Blue Book says that my car is worth exactly nothing basically, so I overpaid for it. Turns out the check engine light was a vacuum leak. It burns just a tiny amount of oil, maybe a quart every month or so. And I drive a lot actually. Round trip to work for me is almost 150 miles. Runs great, shifts great, clutch feels awesome. Feels like it could easily do another quarter of a million. Love it.
I love these challenges. I would love to see lengthier ones. Including when you travel around and abroad. You should spent some money on the Audi, get the Golf fixed up and get them to compete.
This absolutely made my day, i've also got an A4 B6, 1.9 tdi, amazing how good service and condition can do to a car. I really hope you're doing a series about this car.

I’ve got a Mercedes-Benz w212 with the famous OM651. Literally one of the best cars ever made. And it’s got 976.000 kilometers on the clock. Surpassing the million soon🇩🇪❤️
So when's the Ellie Goulding X Car Throttle episode gonna be out? Since she was first on scene to Jack's accident!

Who would have thought I'd actually be watching this as genuine consumer advice to get a CoronaVirus banger!
This is awesome, reminds me of my first car.
A W123 200D Mercedes that I sold with a proud 1 340 000 KM. And I still see it cruising around sometimes.

Girls with £200: Time to buy an Gucci shirt!
Us petrolheads with £200: hmm what car can i choose?!
My cost me £450! I dont own many clothes, boring. Would rather spend money on a car ...
I think most people would buy something else than a car with that money.
@@makes528 the best thing is having atleast 800 bucks for a car cause 200 bucks cars are quite most of the time with mechanical problems and are needed to pay insurance and MOT or they're crashed enough
