    Is Stevia acceptable? It would be nice if you could answer some of the people's questions

    Dr. Childs has answered your questions about Stevia. Stevia is natural. It's ok. It's not a chemical.

    Dr Childs, could you talk about the cause behind high heart rate and low body temperature in Hashimoto?

    Could I use stevia???

    • @olderandwiser127
      @olderandwiser127 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't. Stevia is very harmful, disrupting hormones including thyroid, insulin and sex hormones.

  • @ke2delight

    Also, not all artificial sweeteners are the same.

    Are we talking about stevia also? I don’t do the ones you mentioned but I have adapted stevia.

      Stevia is very harmful. My wife has done a lot of research and has uncovered evidence that stevia disrupts the endocrine system, meaning causes hormone imbalance.

      I think stevia and monk fruit are considered natural sweetener.

    Hey doc thanks for your videos, great information! Could you maybe also talk about the relationship between smoking and thyroid problems? I‘ve read that it increases thyroid hormones but at the same time can increase autoimmune dysfunction

  • @ke2delight
    @ke2delight ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Treating autoimmune conditions is not by removing the artificial sweeteners but by removing the inflammation, lowering the insulin levels, removing sugar and carbs, and finely removing gluten, soy and stress.

    My doctor doesn’t want to continue performing the TPO test because he says it’s like continuing to take a pregnancy test after becoming pregnant. But I would like to know if the antibodies are decreasing or gone. What do you think?

    I had hashimotos before sucralose existed.....correlation does not equal causation. I bet she cut out her favorite sucralose containing foods.

      I'm with you. I don't think sucrolose has squat to do with developing thyroid disease. I truly believe the toxic chemo I received triggered mine! I'm subclinical and do not take meds yet but never had thyroid issues until after chemo!#UGH

    GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS👍🔥🎯
    I won't touch artificial sweetener. I can't have gluten so if I'm craving a yummy sweet I make my own using birch xylitol 😋. If I'm out and decided I want a little sugary treat I'll get a treat with sugar. My biggest craving however, is salt. If I have to choose between sugar or salt the salt always wins 😋🤤. Good to know that stuff messes with your thyroid. I have friends and some family that consume that garbage and they also have thyroid problems. I'm going to send this over to them 👍😊

    Gluten also can cause autoimmune diseases. Hope this helps someone. Dr. Osborne teaches this.

    Not sure about this. I was diagnosed 11 yrs ago and haven't consumed these. I drink water spring water almost exclusively and never grabbed for artificially sweetened food items. Maybe for some but not for me.

    you know my son was consuming a lot of erythritol, in a specific two weeks and quite regularly for the last 2 years and it caused i believe the scariest palpatatons, even one pupil has changed size , i absolutely know it drove his hashimotos through the roof, if i hadnt seen the news alert from the cleveland clinic by stanley hazen on utube on that sunday i would still be buying that erythritol for us to use, he has had only a couple of small palpataions since stopping the erythritol and as of today now has only had a rare little flutter, stanley hazen said it was causing the blood to get sticky and clot and also strokes and heart palpatations

    Hello I am currently taking LEVOTHYROXINE 137mg and after watching your videos I called my doctor to switch over to Tirosint for a cleaner medication. Well my insurance denied it said it is not on my plan. Can you tell me if these two are a better choice than LEVOTHYROXINE euthyroid and unithroid? Thanks

      I just started NP thyroid and I pay about $22 a month . Walmart has the best prices and if insurance doesn’t pay they run it through good rx if you ask sometimes good rx beats by pride with insurance.

      Erythritol is terrible for the heart you can look up the studies. Allulose or Stevia is better. Actually eating Alia loss will help you lose weight you can look up the study it increases your brown fat witches are metabolically active fat. I was shocked when I saw the study

    Whst if we focused on healing leaky gut which is said to cause auto immune problems? Glyphosate aka Roundup heavy use started in about 1996 and so did so many autoimmune issues and autism.

    WHAT ABOUT STEVIA??

  • @Karen-fo8qv
    @Karen-fo8qv 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What do I do when your thyroid is swelled and they say well it's not that bad. Well that was 14 teen years ago. I complain about having problems swollening and they did one test and didn't seem no concern about it. In 2020 and ultrasound showed 2 nodules on the right and 4or 5 on the left. The radiology, who read the report said. I see no reason to pick you with wholes they are usually benign, I got up called him a AH and walked out. He didn't want to do it cause of COV was starting. Now you look at my throat and you see a perfect shape of a butterfly. I've just gave up. No one cares. What do you think?

    I myself dont use stevia daily, but I do use stevia, erythritol, etc a couple times a week.
    I do notice I feel better personally without sweet of any type every day, But I have a way worse reaction flare up wise to sugar and honey etc than stevia.
    Its difficult because humans like sweet too.
