+Cinematics Warcraft 3 My pleasure! If you haven't been yet, just make sure to check their schedule online to make sure they aren't doing maintenance the day you are planning to go.
Great video - I visited in October and enjoyed the trip up the cable car! Lots of small food stands at the top. The grilled Chinese sausage is a really tasty thing to buy.
Those views from the gondola look quite awesome! I've enjoyed riding some of the gondolas in Colorado such as the ones in Vail, but the MaoKong Gondola after watching this video looks very impressive. If I ever get a chance to visit Taiwan, I'll have to keep this gondola in mind. Thanks for another great video!
+Scottman895 Travel The views are quite impressive... it was rainy/foggy on my way up which made for some "Kung Fu Movie" like misty clouds over the forest, and it was clear on the way down, which made for great city views. I agree -- the one in Vail is cool -- but not as much of a view in Vail. The Gondola in Hong Kong is pretty neat, as is the one in Singapore. I'd really like to ride the Peak to Peak Gondola in Whistler though -- that one looks really cool! :)
+Marianne Chua 120 NTD is the one way fare. Round trip would be 240 NYC. I suggest you use an easy pass though.. It's the same thing you use for the MRT.. then you don't have to stand in line to "buy" a ticket. You just tap in the same way you would to ride the MRT.
+Yellow Productions Productions it was close on Monday, which happened to be my last day in Taiwan lol. Monday is weekly maintenance. I took the bus up, but it wasn't even worth it. definitely only go if the gondola are running to future visitors

Wow, thank you very much for explaining how to get there from the metro! Very useful video! :)

I hope to go there soon my friend
Awesome. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi! Is the NTD 120 roundtrip fare already going to Maokong then back to Taipei Zoo? Or do we have to purchase another ticket going back? Thank you :)

Cool, thanks, I'm in Taipei so I'll go check it out, it's a bargain
Awesome! Hope you have a good ride on the Gondola!

+Lost Under the Sky Ah... bummer. Sorry your visit to the Gondola wasn't more successful!
The fare on the website says 120NTD for a one-way trip from Taipei Zoo station to Maokong Mountain. Now I'm confused. Haha!
Looks like prices went up! Still cheap though! :)
thanks for info 😇
My pleasure! Thanks for the comment!
