Akmal Ibrahim I watched the first 10 laps woke awake. Then napped laps 11- 47 only to be woken up by the commentator and my mom who was watching. Once Valterri tyre popped I got excited and then my satellite lost connection.😤 Was so mad because everything was starting to unfold and just had breakfast. It connected back when they were giving trophies and I was so disappointed that Valterri somehow managed only 11 while Lewis got 1st. Champion hopes gone in the blink of an eye 😪.

I don't think it was pirelli's mistake at all, tyre degradation was much higher than expected, mercedes drivers were fighting to win this race and pushing eachother too much so they were not focussed on tyre management and it obviously cost them.
What we learned from season 2020 is that, if you give a good car to any team they will definitely show good results, and Lewis Hamilton is exceptionally brilliant...no words...

Akmal Ibrahim I watched the first 10 laps woke awake. Then napped laps 11- 47 only to be woken up by the commentator and my mom who was watching. Once Valterri tyre popped I got excited and then my satellite lost connection.😤 Was so mad because everything was starting to unfold and just had breakfast. It connected back when they were giving trophies and I was so disappointed that Valterri somehow managed only 11 while Lewis got 1st. Champion hopes gone in the blink of an eye 😪.

I don't think it was pirelli's mistake at all, tyre degradation was much higher than expected, mercedes drivers were fighting to win this race and pushing eachother too much so they were not focussed on tyre management and it obviously cost them.

The image at 6:26 is so iconic and defining of this time in F1. Mercedes/Louis domination - winning the race with a blown tire due to being 30+ seconds in the lead. A smoking Merc way ahead on the straight with a perfectly functioning Red Bull not able to catch it. It's annoying to watch sometimes now but looking back on this era of Merc domination will be amazing.
