This was my first trip to my mothers homeland beautiful Aitutaki, I regret not coming home with my mother whilst she was still alive. Losing both of my parents in NZ 2013 only 10 weeks part (who were married for 63 years) was the catalyst for our trip....bringing their ashes home so they could rest peacefully together here in Paradise...as was their wish. 55 of us here together from NZ and Aussie, children, grand and great granchildren, family. It was an amazing experience and it has reunited us with our roots...our Aitutaki family and the land of our ancestors. I am so thankful to have Aitutaki blood running through my veins...the hospitality and love that was flourished upon us and the generosity of the local community and our family here was heartfelt. Thank you all.....I shall return to give back all that I can. It is truly the purest most beautiful island in the world. Meitaki atupaka xxx

Aitutaki is such a beautiful island and is well worth a visit at least once in your life. The people are welcoming and great friends. I miss this "Heaven on Earth".
Proud to be from aitutaki,manihiki,rakahanga,Palmerston,mangaia! We're so blessed to be from these islands with big swimming pools lol
If you are from one of the islands like me, were from the cook islands! (Raro) and yes big pools lol and huge trevally fish
Was there about a month ago. Amazingly Beautiful!🤩 🤩 I was walking on the island, a woman offered me a ride and showed me around the whole island, didn’t want money, just was kind.

I don't know about any of you but I sure would love to live there every morning wake up to that absolute heaven I live in Florida right now and that's close enough for now a little of everything in Florida

It's much more beautiful in real life. Split your time between Rarotonga (main Cook island) and Aitutaki. Make sure you check out Aitutaki Lagoon... as beautiful as the Maldives and Bora Bora but much more affordable. Book in advance as it gets sold out.

Just booked my ticket and my gopro is prepped.
I will stop for shopping in auckland before going next month.
Mostly i come to the area due Rarotonga being the 3rd sint maarten.
Been to Skiathos, sint maarten and now soon the cook islands.
