Aitutaki really is that beautiful and it really is worth the extra effort. The most common way to reach Aitutaki is by air and the only airline to fly the route is Air Rarotonga. Aitutaki can easily be visited as a day trip.
having been to aitutaki twice it was like being there again. i see a big part of this was filmed between the aitutaki lagoon resort and spa and samade on the beach. but other spots too. Aitutaki is one of my favorite places on earth, in my top 3 list

Wow, I agree. It's a shame that these islands are soo far away from the rest of the world or I'm sure there would be more resorts and tourism in these small islands.
