I have two follow up interviews next week for the EM roll at a brand new Ulta beauty. My group interview went well and I was told I was hired. But then I was never called back to talk about scheduling. After calling multiple times and going up to the store, I found out they pulled my application and I wasn’t showing up in the system. But in reality they just hadn’t refreshed their system. And THEN I was begrudgingly told I could have a second interview “if I wanted” along with much more uncalled for attitude. I said sure and then didn’t show up. My towns store was unprofessional during the hiring process. The lack of clarity and unnecessary attitudes made me realize that was not a place I wanted to work no matter how much I love the store.
I’m a PBA but pretty much all I do is Task. Maybe once a week or really once every two wks I’m over in Prestige. I’m their main Tasker and really the only reason I was promoted to PBA is for a raise and so I could work my way up. I’ve been with Ulta for over 3 yrs and did threaten to look for another job if I couldn’t get more money so since we’re in a company freeze atm, this was the only way to get more money. Don’t get me wrong, I know my way around makeup and skin but I prefer to be behind the scenes in Operations.
I have an interview soon for services manager, but if pay is discussed, what would you suggest I ask for? I’m in California where min wage is $15, but i have over 8 years management experience so would like to ask well over that. Thank you in advance!
I actually had my interview today and it went well. the manager told me the general manager will call me for a second interview will I get actually interviewed or will they tell me I got the job?

I submitted my job application 4 days ago and I still haven't heard back from them.
Give the store a call and ask to speak to a manager! It always is a good idea to follow up
