@SuckaFreePlease finally someone who understands. i am 5'1 and 95 to 100 pounds and i ride that like i used to ride my crf 100. if youre good at rideing the seatheight doesnt matter. you just have to ride. however, when i ride this i am still too small to kick it over so i wear a backpack with blocks wneh i go out on the trails
nice ... they are blowin em out up here for 5k cdn .... great bike for the money ... sched your oil changes and valve adjustments and it will last for ever ... exhaust mods can be twice the price but you dont need to do that, stock works great .... its a cornerin machine ... enjoy
alright well now from moving up from a trail bike, your going to have to spend more time on maintenance, frequent oil changes is probably a must (including your oil filter if you didnt know) and the air filter ALWAYS has to stay clean, bad air filters are probably the main cause of chewed up valves. and sure the crf250 seems to never run out of rev so you can pretty much deliver all sorts of power in whatever gear once you master the bike.
@15bonarj it doesn't really matter how much you weigh or how tall you are because I'm 5'6 and 119 pounds and can't reach the ground to good on my kx 250f but you don't really need to touch the ground out at the track you just have to feel comfortable on it, if you sit down on a crf, kxf, yzf, sxf, or an rmz you'll know which one is right for you. because racing is full of confidence and you can't have too much confidence knowing your not comfortable on the bike. trust me.
sweet bike man, i live in south brunswick lol... just got my cr 125 last month but the weather in NJ sucks i want to go to englishtown when spring comes
Damn.... that is a NICE bike! :P You should make a vid with you on the bike, doin tricks and stuff, and 1 of ur buddies tapin' it. :D hahaa stay chill man!
No problems yet and hope it stays that way. haha valves, that is most common question of thumper riders. Pretty much the only way your valves get chewed up is if you dont take care of it!! frequent oil changes, and air filter cleanings will keep your bike in good shape for a long time. If this is your first bike, i do not recomend it. But if you have experience, this bike will be never ending fun. Suspension is excellent make sure you set the sag to your weight tho( it can make big differences )
i live close to freehold honda. i always used to love to go there and sit on the bikes, but sadly they just closed down and their building a fricken bank there :(
@HondaSeth1500 im about 5'8 with boots and my toes touch the ground, but you can always just do what i like to call side-saddle it where you have one foot flat on the ground and one leg over the seat =]
o yea ?? how good do you take care of your bike? ever do any maintenance or cleanings besides spraying it with the hose? if you take care of the bike it wont let you down.
Well u see ive done 2 of the 3 ive never touched the engine itself. I right it hard to. I think 07 might have best vavle set up but not power like 08 and 09. Ive never touched it
@jamesgear8675309 The retail price of a 2010 is actually $7200 in the USA, but it depends on how maintened and the condition of the bike you want is in to determine price.
@15bonarj just to clear things up on these questions on size (height/weight)... I am 5'8, able to touch the ground with toes on both feet at the very least. I weigh around 160 and to be honest the bike does toss me around sometimes when ridin hard ;) But in the end, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR SIZE ! its about your experience on dirtbikes and if you are able to handle the power of such bikes !
i woulndt say every ride, but it depends on how hard you ride it. and about the yz250f...im a honda guy so of course my answer will be to get the crf250r haha
@15bonarj im 5'6 and weigh 115... i have the 2011 yz250f.. nice bike but i should've went with a kx :( it's nice for me but if you can handle it you should get it but if you're not ready for it wait until you know you are!
the dual exaust on these bikes sucks. the single exaust is better because everything is getting pushed out a once and not split into two so the single exaust will be faster
I’m gonna be moving up to 250 & open B class next year I’ve been riding a cr125. but I’m not sure whether to get a crf250 or a ktm 250sx, I’ve been racing a friends 250xc not set up for me and have been doing alright but I need to figure out which bike is going to get me to the next level asap. Any thoughts?
@SoulWarrior11 hey well im 5'7 147 lbs and i fit perfect on the bike, my feet feather the ground so this would be a great bike for you as an upgrade from an 85.
@baseballty555 so your basically saying a 2stroke 85 is the same size as a 2stroke 125? because last time i checked an 85 is much smaller than a 125 or 250
@15bonarj u can ride it i am 5'3 and i am 107 and i am 14 and i ride a 450 dirt bike any one can ride a dirt bike ut just gatta know how to et up if ur too short lol this bike if fine for u
haha actually the 85 expert is the same size as a 07 250r which is probably the same size as an 2010 and like i want a 250 but i just got my 85 so its gunna be a while before i get a new irtbike and getting this 85 was a big mistake on my hand im the same size as u 5"7 and at 150 lbs
those ppes of the 08-09 are sick looking, and sound mean!!!
@SuckaFreePlease finally someone who understands. i am 5'1 and 95 to 100 pounds and i ride that like i used to ride my crf 100. if youre good at rideing the seatheight doesnt matter. you just have to ride. however, when i ride this i am still too small to kick it over so i wear a backpack with blocks wneh i go out on the trails

awesome brand new bike!
nice ... they are blowin em out up here for 5k cdn .... great bike for the money ... sched your oil changes and valve adjustments and it will last for ever ... exhaust mods can be twice the price but you dont need to do that, stock works great .... its a cornerin machine ... enjoy

sweet bike man, i live in south brunswick lol... just got my cr 125 last month but the weather in NJ sucks i want to go to englishtown when spring comes
@CHRI5xX i would go honda, but thats my opinion, if you get the honda, clean the air filter and change the oil regularly
yamaha is the best man!! they are so fast and bullet proof! heard they come with leather seats and can take .50 cal machine guns :)
thx brah been keepin up with your vids too haha we gotta upgrade from the 150 sooner or later

@HondaSeth1500 im about 5'8 with boots and my toes touch the ground, but you can always just do what i like to call side-saddle it where you have one foot flat on the ground and one leg over the seat =]

@THCynical That might be your way to feel comfortable when your riding but i'm good bro..
@SoulWarrior11 hey well im 5'7 147 lbs and i fit perfect on the bike, my feet feather the ground so this would be a great bike for you as an upgrade from an 85.
so it will still fit me even if im 4'8 474 lbs, cherokee indian, have 2 peg legs, madonna haircut and no fingers!?
what does two mufflers do and do they come with the bike
what exactly does the dual exhaust do for the bike?
@baseballty555 so your basically saying a 2stroke 85 is the same size as a 2stroke 125? because last time i checked an 85 is much smaller than a 125 or 250
ohh. hah im sure the 250 will be well worth it
Im 12, i ride a 150 fine
Im just about 100 hours on without ever touching the vavles
Hey man what kind of gas does it take? since its a 4 stroke does it just take premium
do you have any valve problems with this?, if so how often do u get the valves done?
@RedwoodRacing635 o yea thats what i meant, didnt see he wrote 150 not 250 lol. but yea ive seen kids who are 9 riding 150ss and they ripp
