Made a request for this yesterday in the comments of ‘Dr Robert’ and you certainly delivered. Nailed it again man, now I can’t wait for ‘And Your Bird Can Sing’ haha
Even after so many years after the band's end, it is impressive how their songs and their performances in the studios continue to surprise those who love them. Personally, I am very grateful to people like you who give your body and soul to show us in detail how their music was and continues to be thousands of years ahead of anything that has ever been produced in the pop rock universe. Thanks. Greetings from Brazil.
Hey Sam, I have a difficult time choosing my favorite Beatles tunes, but, She Said, She Said is right up there. Man, this was really great, have been trying to get this one for years. Now I see how. Thanks Sam. Always loved John's Rain too. Thanks again. Have a Great Day.🎸🥁
I only discovered you a few months ago. You have since become my Go-To musician on the Beatles. If not for discovering how it’s played, then for the enjoyment of the pure, unadulterated sound of their compositions. Dude, you not only get it, but are among the best, maybe the best, who can replicate their sound absolutely perfectly.
Hi Sam! I want to thank you A LOT because your video helped me to do my own cover of this song. You're up there with the greats like mattiboo and Michael Sokil!
The guitars in this song sound so clean and your version is spot on. For some reason the intro lick reminds me of the national anthem of some country, but I'm not sure why though
My goodness your great at this. Again your tones are absolutely spot on. Also you upstroke at the exact times the Beatles did.. Up stroking is not an American thing at all. Common for the British back then. It DOES make a difference. I'm a boomer, I was there. Your doing everything right. Thank you so much for not playing it your way or anyone's way. (hey, I bet you can't find anyone to play in a group with you either. )
One of the best Beatles songs imho, not only is the lead and rhythm good, it has insanely awesome lyrics, goes to show if the Beatles did nothing else and all they did was rock and roll they would still be the best band ever.
I've always played this in B-flat, and today it occurred to me: OF COURSE they must have capoed it. The chords and riffs ring much more openly that way. Thanks for validating that guess.
outstanding cover! i have always noticed little riffs that aren't as loud as the double tracked (for example the little hammer on riff the sg does near the start of the bridge. always thought that was a bass) and you laid them all down nicely. 🫡🫡respect🫡🫡
One thing I’ve always found interesting is how they went from extremely clean tones on Albums like Help and Rubber Soul (except for some overdriven exceptions on Rubber Soul) to fuzz driven sounds with pretty large amounts of distortion for 1966.
Nice work man! I’ve been trying to figure how to reach the guitar tones of this song and doctor robert as well… for me, these two songs have iconic guitar tones… I have a Gibson SG with standard pickups… and Im using amp simulators… I got reached a very similar sound usind a combination of fender and vox amps, with a little bit of fuzz… with also a 670 compressor and reel adt simulator by Waves!
Paul refused to play bass on this song. He had a fight with John and refused to play. He said it's the only Beatles song he's not on at all. He said he thinks George played the bass as he walked out of the studio.
how you manage to get these insanely accurate tones bamboozles the hell out of me
couldn't agree more. amazing tonal recreation
@sharpobject Look up the Dr. Robert overdrive pedal... ❤
Making your guitar sound as horrible as possible is a pretty easy to emulate Harrison

@@NoName-fo7mz It's ok to have bad ears buddy
for me revolver has the nicest sounding guitars the beatles have recorded, this is a great example why!! congrats man 🎉
This x1000
I agree. The guitars on this and Dr. Robert are just sick. Oozing Beatles magic.
Love them. I'm a drummer first but Revolver was the album that made me get serous about learning how to play guitar!
That’s true, you’re right.
I agree with you, Revolver is a special recording.
John and George were in the zone. Genius guitarwork. Kind of reminds of I Want To Hold Your Hand.
One of the greatest guitar rock songs of all time.
Nah
@@wewennnn yes
i still can't get over the small lick at 0:53, pure brilliance
I never noticed those fast parts from George in the fadeout before. That's pretty cool. Great job!
Made a request for this yesterday in the comments of ‘Dr Robert’ and you certainly delivered. Nailed it again man, now I can’t wait for ‘And Your Bird Can Sing’ haha
John's rhythm here is pretty great picking. I never picked up on it until I heard the isolated tracks on TH-cam, but he goes pretty hard. Great cover.
My god so brilliant this song is in every way! Nice tribute to the new Revolver release!
Ah man, love that Revolver tone!! Awesome cover, Sam! Keep up with the Revolver songs LOL, my favorite LP.
With the latest Giles Martin remix of Revolver doing the rounds, it's really nice to hear and SEE one of my favourite tracks.
Thank you .
Thank you!
Beautifully done. You're right- the new remixes definitely shed some light on what is going on with the guitar work and you replicated it nicely :)
My fave Beatles song. Thanks, perfect job of it!
Mine too!
The Revolver SG tone is awesome
Great start to the week! Tones are completely spot on. Great work!
Sounds JUST like the original! Amazing work!
Magnificent. The tone and accuracy of the parts is so beyond awesome.
Even after so many years after the band's end, it is impressive how their songs and their performances in the studios continue to surprise those who love them. Excelente! Grande talento e escolha de música! Beatles para sempre! (From Brasil!)
Hearing the demo for the song was of course great as well with John’s acoustic, good cover as always.
MAN, YOU NAILED THE SOUND, FANSTASTIC!
This is so good , right tones , sound, guitar , even clothing
what a great tone, the sg makes me smile
Gorgeous reconstruction!!! So well done, thank you.
One of my favorites! Plus the time of the guitars is dead on. Keep up the great work dude you’re amazing!
One of those Beatles songs you forget then when you hear it you say - That's One of My Favorite Beatles Songs!
Love this along with your video on Dr Robert, two of the most criminally underrated tracks in the Beatle’s cannon.
Insanely great. Always loved this song but you bring out the beauty of the sound, Sam.
Good job on lead George
This is one of my fav Beatles records ever and I've never heard the part from 02:23 on before.
Awesome
Hey Sam, I have a difficult time choosing my favorite Beatles tunes, but, She Said, She Said is right up there. Man, this was really great, have been trying to get this one for years. Now I see how. Thanks Sam. Always loved John's Rain too. Thanks again. Have a Great Day.🎸🥁
Thanks Douglas. Choosing a favorite Beatles tune is no easy task😂

I really appreciate that! Thanks
My favorite song of all time, been waiting for this one :)
One their best songs imo! So glad you did this, just discovered the channel yesterday
Welcome! Thanks so much
f a n t a s t i c, Well done man! My favourite song at this moment 💯
I’m so glad your got all the parts done correctly. Really enjoyed watching you play this.
What a fantastic cover
Pure joy. thanks for all that you do.
excellent recreating of parts. thanx
The Beatles were chemist's of music, complex to say the least.
Awesome job Sam!!!✌️😏
Man, you've nailed that distorted lead (guitar) tone...
Congratulations!
You are getting that tone! Amazing! Well done.
Absolutely loving the revolver covers
Hope there's more on the way
Hi Sam! I want to thank you A LOT because your video helped me to do my own cover of this song. You're up there with the greats like mattiboo and Michael Sokil!
That means a lot! Thanks. Gonna check out your channel 🤘
Simply superb!
Amazing sounds exactly like the original, waiting for that And your bird can sing cover, you always deliver Sam!
The guitars in this song sound so clean and your version is spot on. For some reason the intro lick reminds me of the national anthem of some country, but I'm not sure why though
Along with "And Your Bird Can Sing," wonderful efforts! You and D.Ross should consider a duet on both!
I think you did a great job with the tones on this one.
Very nicely done! I'm digging the P-90s in that SG. My SG has humbuckers, and they can't quite snarl in the same way as those sweet single-coils.
Thanks! Yeah the p90’s are great. The Who and the Doors used SG’s with them
That's so cool!!
Really tight man nice work!
excellent Sam and so appreciated!!
You have the Tone Nailed.
My goodness your great at this. Again your tones are absolutely spot on. Also you upstroke at the exact times the Beatles did.. Up stroking is not an American thing at all. Magnificent!!!! The same tone as well!
If I had to pick an all time favorite Beatles recording, this is is. Always has been for many years now. Billy Joel once said this too.
These brilliant posts really demonstrate how odd yet perfect for the song George Harrison's guitar parts were.
I've loved this song since childhood. Everything on here is perfect. I think anyway -- I just have my parents' mono records.
One of the best Beatles songs imho, not only is the lead and rhythm good, it has insanely awesome lyrics, goes to show if the Beatles did nothing else and all they did was rock and roll they would still be the best band ever.
Passend zum neuen Remix Revolver Album..hört sich super an. Lg from Germany Ellen ✌❤
Nicely done
And yeah, cool shirt 🙂🎵🎶🎸
wonderful
George had that Taxman tone on his SG and it was super cool
Hey Popkin, this is good!
Wonderful stuff......!
Dude nailed it.
Well done again Sam!
I've always played this in B-flat, and today it occurred to me: OF COURSE they must have capoed it. The chords and riffs ring much more openly that way. Thanks for validating that guess.
I love the lead guitar on this song. Happy Halloween Sam!
Amazing!!
Besides "Rain", this song probably features one of the best performances by Ringo.
Tone is killer.
Great stereo!
Those P90s on the SG are sick. Did George's have them originally?
No George had humbuckers. I’m a big Pete Townshend fan, hence the SG special
outstanding cover! i have always noticed little riffs that aren't as loud as the double tracked (for example the little hammer on riff the sg does near the start of the bridge. always thought that was a bass) and you laid them all down nicely. 🫡🫡respect🫡🫡
Que bueno eres ahora podré ensayar mi Bajo con tus pistas
Is this a Casino USA? Beautiful guitar!
Yes
They were great lyric writers 🙂🎸
"And she's making me feel like I've never been born!!!
Шикарная песня !!!
Nice man. The same did by Rob Taylor’s To A Tee. 👏🏻👏🏻
perfect
Bro. You are fucking amazing. Thank you for sharing your insane greatness with us. Wow.
Also, beatles rule. ✌️
Very nice of you. Thanks!
Wow!
So that's how it was done.
One thing I’ve always found interesting is how they went from extremely clean tones on Albums like Help and Rubber Soul (except for some overdriven exceptions on Rubber Soul) to fuzz driven sounds with pretty large amounts of distortion for 1966.
Yeah that was a trend with a lot of bands thanks to Clapton, beck, keith, etc. it changed modern music completely
The organ sound is also so prominent now!
Paul's Bass playing on this song is TOP NOTCH as well!
Paul refused to play bass on this song. He had a fight with John and refused to play. He said it's the only Beatles song he's not on at all. He said he thinks George played the bass as he walked out of the studio.
maybe you want to Say George 's bass, Paul isn' y in this récord
A lot of TH-cam covers promise but don't quite deliver. This one nails the original sound and the licks.
Fire
Holy shit. 👍👍
I was just listening to that song
Crazy accurate tone! I’m thinking it might be time to invest in an Aclam Dr Robert pedal haha :)
What's amazing to me is this song was a last minute addition to fill out the album.
That indian SG 👏🏼
This song and Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except For Me and My Monkey are just :-) :-) 🙂
Sam
Popkin
is the
5th Beatle!
Those tones are Beatlesque!
cool
when the revolver special box set was released on last year october 28th, that's my birthday. coincidence right?
