    Recently Lauren Daigle expressed some controversial views on a radio show. However, in this video I don't want to focus just on her comments but rather, I want to discuss what I believe is the biggest problem with Christians that I see in our society today. Let me know your thoughts in the description below.

    Hey family, this is a tough topic but you know we don't shy away from them on this channel. What are your thoughts? We live in what's called "comfortable Christianity." The believers in the first century were much more bold in their faith. I hope this video encourages some to take a stand for what the Bible says is true even if it makes us unpopular. Enjoy fam!

      In my opinion Lauren Daigle's response was a flat out lie. She knows very well what the scripture says. Her response was cowardly in that she lied about not knowing. Just because we know it is a sin I also don't agree we have to be "bold," but rather be wise to the crafty and cunning ways of the enemy. After all we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
      Everyone who would have said homosexuality is a sin would have fell right into the enemy's trap. They already know the answer to the question, the question is only meant to demonize you and turn you into a self righteous judge. Paul the apostle said in 1Corinthians 5:12 "For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? v.13 "But them that are without God judgeth"
      When Jesus was questioned and tested by the pharisees, scribes, lawyers, and sadducees He would either ignore, answer them with a question, flip the same question back at them etc... Jesus was not gonna fall into the traps they had set up for Him in order to be "bold" for the gospel.
      When Jesus was confronted by religious folk about the adulteress. He didn't say (religious person -->) hmm well adultery is a sin punishable by death of stoning because it is written in the Law of Moses. Nah, He Loved the sinner by showing Mercy, compassion, and delivered her from death. Then He told her He didn't condemn her either and the very last thing Jesus said was "go and sin no more." You are ignorant to the fact that Romans 2:4 says "the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance." Not you in your carnal religious way saying they can only repent if they know it is a sin. You who are "saved" sin daily too, and our sins are worse because we have no excuses.
      I grew up in a Christian family and I have my own prodigal son story. I fell deep into the world of sin and throughout it all I had a lot of knowledge of scriptures and knew I was dead wrong living a life of sin. I already knew if I continued in it I would go to hell and all that, but even that was not powerful enough to stop me from sinning. In fact, when people would tell me im sinning and headed to hell I would get even more depressed because I knew it, and go deeper into the pit I was in. What stopped and changed me was the LOVE of Jesus Christ and God the Father. His LOVE is more powerful than a fear of hell.
      See, "Christians" wanna do it backwards and say they are sinners, condemn homosexuals, then say but we love you. In the same way you are saying homosexuals are in sin, are you not also a sinner and have your own secret sin you struggle with? Why then be a religious self righteous hypocrite knowing you have sin in your life, but rather then taking the speck out of your eye in order to help take the log out of homosexuals you rather say well that log is a sin and it's bigger than my speck.

    A friend of mine discovered that he has cancer of the third stage. When he went for treatment he told the nurses and doctors that having cancer is a gift of God. Cancer caused him to appreciate God more - His grace, His mercy, and His love. The whole ward where he stayed were amazed by his faith in Jesus that they, patients, doctors, and nurses, actually wanted to be in the Bible study group that he conducted in the ward. That's what I call "not ashamed of Jesus and His Gospel."

      Elizabeth L. Williams I value very much your heart to pray and encourage Lauren Daigle. However, it is completely appropriate for him to teach believers to stand strong in truth and exhort the body to discern how often we are choosing to fear man more than the Lord. I’ve listened to this brother and his heart for the Word. If he was to end this with prayer, it could very easily come off self-righteous and most likely he would have been called out for that.

Paul wasn't perfect yet he still preached God's word even though he himself was walking his own path. You must have faith in Jesus. If you have no faith or a lack thereof you will never be successful

      lol context of the time period? God NEVER changes. He might stay his hand of judgement for a time, but sin will always be sin. Jesus took the punishment for our sin, but that doesn't give us the permission to sin as we want, that is lawlessness. 2Cor 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with Lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? God equates lawlessness with darkness.

    • @ethanlonchar
      @ethanlonchar 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      J Garrick your right God never changes, but in order to get people to follow him he does have to say different things in different time periods, look at the difference in the way God comes across in the old vs New Testament, he had to act different to different people so they would understand. When reading the bible you need to find out what parts are eternal and what parts are contextual. If God had immediately told them to do everything different they would not have listened, God had to take baby steps in changing society. Perhaps in the bible he did not have enough time to change the views on homosexuality, plus back then homosexuality was very different from what it is today

    I found about Lauren Daigle last year as i laid on a hospital's bed without any idea about what was going on nor what was going to happen... it was a total STOP in my life... in the many sleepless hours of the night, I discovered her song YOU SAY as I had been talking to God about how I saw myself and the sence of abandonment i had ... this song had a healing message for me ... I remember listening to it and crying inside and outside while i was concerned about the future... I believe God talks to us in a very effective way, but we need to have a heart willing to listen not just hear (there is a difference between those two verbs)... since music's always been my way to express... I believe God used that too and it had a healing effect... as i progressed other of her songs popped up and seemed to beautifully flow with how and what i was going through to help me gain spiritual strength in God! "Remember" was very much taking me to all the times God helped me in the past during life's valleys.... His promises and so on a beautiful journey unfoldes before me full of freshness ...
    I agree that platforms like the one she has, brings more responsibility which I think she does take through communicating using music and lyrics that draw you to non other than God and it is the element that God has blessed her with.
    I do understand what you say about being different in her interviews... i just discovered it recently, it does not change God's impact in my life through her music.
    For everyone who wants to know the truth, the Bible which is a letter from God to us all... is the place ro go and ask God to help see and understand..
    Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you..."
    I have non believer friends I have shared with my recent experience and how that particular song opened my eyes... and you know? one of them whom would never ever listen to anything christian oriented... does now lasten to her music AND how God uses who and what ... amazes me, God works in the hearts of people and what He starts He will complete!
    I want to think that we all mature and will grow to fear God more than Man!!

      We are not supposed to condone things that God hates and homosexuality is one of them.
      The fact that you reacted in such a way just proves that those who agree with this video are actually standing with the truth.

      I said that it was a sin and I lost friends because of it.
      But I also condemned all other sins.

    I think the #1 problem is people don't know how to speak the truth in love or as another Pastors I listen to likes to say; "that doesn't mean you have to be a jerk for JESUS".
    The point being is that while there is truth in what was said in this video there is also a history of baggage within the Church when it come to addressing the issues mentioned but especially homosexuality & transgenderism. In dealing with LGBTQ's there has not only been a lack of compassion but also downright hatred & even some in the extremist minority that have called for violence against these individuals and those need to be clearly condemned! So with that kind of baggage coming out of the Church I believe some hesitate confronting issues like this out of fear of adding fuel to the fire. Then again the fear of being conceived as a "bigot" or "homophobic" or "offensive" is probably more likely but we really do need to learn how to speak the truth in love!

      I think he did a good job rebuking in love. There is a meek but firm way to state the truth. Then we let the Holy Spirit do His work. It actually is loving them to tell them the truth. If you knew a person driving in the fog blindly was headed directly to the cliff, you'd do everything to let them know. Of course yelling is not what I suggest to witness however let's look at everyone like that. Jesus came for those lost sheep and we are to look at them in that way. Jesus didn't ignore the sin, He helped them admit it and tell them to repent and believe on Him. The Holy Spirit points to Christ, Paul and the apostles did too, we do to for we are the disciples of Christ. That was the great commission - teach His teachings and make disciples and we have the indwelling Spirit that gives us the courage and boldness to speak.

More than anything I want to be a good witness for Christ and please God, but it is hard when my fear of man rises and threatens to ruin my witness. Now I have to apologize to God for it and ask him to give me a God-fearing heart and that he would take away my fear of man.

      @mathew roach I believe in Jesus but you just confused me. Jesus died to set them free? Okay is it just got homosexuality or all sins? Because if someone is set free then why do people still sin after salvation? If we are set free from sin, then I must not be saved because I still smoke, I'm not quick to forgive, Occasionally I lose my temper and is foul language and unfortunately fornictate. Not bragging not proud just being truthful. So I believe in Jesus, I talk to him, depend and do my best to cling to Him. Why haven't I been set free? I'm not trying to be hateful, not wanting to debate, not gonna insult you either.. just curious is all

      robbiemckenzie100 You will not and never be able to stop sinning even after accepting Christ and being forgiven on this earth. The only way to be set free completely and free of sin for good, we must die out of this mortal sinful body and then we will be truly free. But for now, being free I believe means the renewing of your mind and heart. Coming to learn the truth of Jesus and how deep He loves you. But until your death, you cannot stop sinning that’s why He paid the price for our sins.

    Exactly. Couldnt have said it better myself. My best friend use to be a homosexual. I believe the lord crossed our paths so that she had someone to be accountable to. We say we love people yet we allow them to live in sin and say its ok? I love my best friend and when temptation is knocking on her door, we have a conversation. Hey I dont believe you should be hanging around that person. Her fruit is not godly and she is pulling you backwards. I'm so tired of people using the "don't judge" card or the "God loves you the way you are" card. You can love all but not agree with their lifestyle. There is a difference between judging people and warning people of their sins. We all struggle with different temptations. It is our duty to have people in our corners that love us enough to say what you are doing is wrong.

      @pinkah boo I'd like to show you this.
      Luke 14:33 "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple."
      Luke 12:33-34 "[33] Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
      [34] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
      Matthew 6:19-21 "[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
      [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
      [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
      Matthew 6:24-34 "[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
      [25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
      [26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
      [27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
      [28] And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
      [29] And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
      [30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
      [31] Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
      [32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
      [33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
      [34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
      John 6:27 "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed."
      Matthew 28:19-20 "[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
      [20],Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
      John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
      John 14:21, 23-24 "[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
      [23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
      [24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
      We must obey Jesus, as Christians. Stop working for money, for the food and drink that perishes! Did Jesus work for money? Did Paul? Did Peter? Did John? No, and for those that had done it, like Peter, they left all and followed Jesus/God. We *need* to do this too.
      Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
      Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
      We have to serve God to do His will. We cannot enter Heaven without doing His will. We cannot serve Him and do His will if we also serve mammon, or money. Quit your job if you have one and work for God. He *commands* us to do this. Our eternal destination depends greatly on this one simple thing! It can be tough to accept, but we absolutely need to.

    • @Trulipy
      @Trulipy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @pinkah boo I'm don't mean to be rude, but it seems like you didn't get what I was saying. To state it pretty clearly, every single one of us has to sell everything that we own, give all the money we get from it to the poor, stop working for money, (You work for money if you go to work and receive monetary income.) and go into the world and preach the Gospel to them, which includes teaching them to obey everything that Jesus taught to do, like this, for example. Re-read my reply with all the Scripture quotations to see where I'm getting this.

    • @Trulipy
      @Trulipy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @pinkah boo Yes, we aren't under the Old Covenant anymore, but look what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20.
      Matthew 28:19-20 "[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
      [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
      Jesus commanded his followers to teach others to obey everything Jesus commanded his disciples to do, including selling all you have and giving the money you get from it to the poor. Yes, we are commanded to love. How can you love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and not obey His Son's commandments?
      John 14:21, 23-24 [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
      [23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
      [24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
      How can you love your neighbours, like needy Africans, if you have plenty of money and items, yet don't help them?
      1 John 3:17 "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"

    I have been disappointed from the award show where they interviewed her and she spoke about the "power of music" in impacting people, instead of the "power of God" in doing so and she kept saying how she's going to "party" afterwards, even while the interviewer was asking some relatively serious questions that she could have answered in such a way that would bring honour to God. And I don't have a problem with Christians having fun, that's not it at all- it was like she was just trying so desperately to seem hip and fun to the secular crowd. I've seen her in crop top in one of her videos and at the awards show, the top of her dress wasn't very modestly designed. Then, when I heard about this a few days ago, I didn't have any more disappointments left to spare. But I pray that God will give us all boldness to be separate.

      Trying to live in the Holy Spirit as much as possible helps us in this way! When the flesh fails to know how to respond, the Spirit will rise up with in you! So do try to always be mindful of walking in the Spirit as much as possible! Also, consider listening to those who doubt, and asking them why they believe what they do? whose authority do THEY stand on with what's right or wrong? Non-believers always see the Bible as a rule book that takes away their rights. What they dont see is the Bible is also a book that protects them from the evil of the world. The more that people walk away from the Bible, the more predators, with no respect for life, enter the world!

      15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

    The thing is that she never truly talked about God. Those who truly are in a relationship with God know what I’m talking about. You’d not want to stop talking about God if that was the case. All that time she spent on TV and she didn’t nearly talk as much about God as he deserves. Barely any glory for God.

      pinkah boo The goal is to get the word of God out there. She can say her favourite artists but, it’s was an opportunity give God some glory, especially with the watered down songs she’s been singing.

    • @masterstepz9800
      @masterstepz9800 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      pinkah boo That’s not the problem. It’s common knowledge that her songs do glorify the lord with a lot of heart. It’s just the choice of picking the most watered down songs when she has better ones, that also glorify god more.

    • @masterstepz9800
      @masterstepz9800 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      pinkah boo That’s the tactic for so many gospel artist that get the lime light. It starts with just milk but, then as time goes on, no more milk. Because they sold it to the devil.
      I’ve seen this scenario play out so many times. From the moment she got on Ellen I knew something like this would happen.
      You see, if artist start out giving meat, people won’t like it. If someone starts out giving milk then move on to Meat, it’ll get the same reaction. Jesus said that the world will despise you because of Jesus. Even Jesus was hated despite all he did. So, it doesn’t matter since the result is gonna be as expected. The world doesn’t not line up with the bible. It will never accept the bible, which is why artists insist of watering down.
      The world will only accept her as long as she’s lukewarm. Ashamed to tell it like it is, that’s how Satan wants it. Your tactic will only attract lukewarm Christians that don’t want a relationship with God, as soon as the meat comes. Ashamed.

    • @masterstepz9800
      @masterstepz9800 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      pinkah boo Because what they assume about the Christians is wrong. That fake poster child, halfway, Lukewarm Christianity, is the only Christianity that the world knows and it won’t bring them salvation. I was hoping she would bring light to this as a leader. The true Christian. The one that does not waiver. The one that’s set in the way of the word. The one who will always pick approval of God over man. Those are the Christians that are the most hated, as Jesus warned.
      Why do you think the prosperity Gospel is so popular? Because it tells them that God is a genie in a bottle and tells them that god will make you Rich, talented, and wouldn’t say no to you. Nothing about overcoming sin. I listened to the prosperity gospel for years and it didn’t bring me or anyone else any closer to God. Satan lets those gospels be on TV because, it feeds the selfish desires of Christians.
      I don’t think you understand what’s going on here. There’s too much compromise which shows me that Satan is near her and I am praying for her. This isn’t a small thing, the same thing happened to rapper and preacher Lecrae. You should be praying for her too, that she receives the strength for god to convict her again.

    Kinda tough, but I doooo needed this message. I'd been searching, wondering why I'm not used by God. And now I finally understand why! I haven't been fearing God over man. I don't feel ashamed of God or Jesus, but I suppose I have been. I've been afraid to speak out for fear of loosing my children, my few friends that I have, but you delivered God's answer to me today. Thank you so much for being His vessel! May God continue his blessings upon you my brother!

There is NO temptation that has seized you, except what is COMMON to man(kind)! Staying in a worshipful mood is always helpful to me! I always feel more bold when I have been surrounded by praise & worship! and should you fall short, remember how Peter denied Jesus, not once, not 2xs, but THREE 3xs! and Jesus still restored him!

The devil is going above and beyond to take children of God away from the kingdom in this end time and therefore I believe we have to pray very well for our family and friends because most of us are ashamed or fear to let people know who we are and what we stand for. I pray that God open our eyes to tap into his grace and be fearless no matter what the world will say about us in Jesus name Amen 🙏🏻.

      Did Peter not deny Christ multiple times, yet did amazing things that honoured God and spread Christianity? As Christians we are not perfect, we are all going to mess up. Doesn't necessarily make us not a Christian. Encourage her in her faith, help show her the areas in which she may need to form solid answers. Stop being so quick to condemn every Christian as soon as they mess up.

    I appreciate you for being so bold and making this video. It has greatly convicted me and helped me to repent. God please give us the courage, discernment and wisdom (that only comes from your spirit and your word) so that we can use it to pierce the hearts of those dying in their sin, blinded by their ways. Lord, may every word we speak be inspired by your holy spirit. Soften the hearts of the lost to your holy righteous ways. The ways that lead to everlasting life. Thank you Lord that nothing we do for you goes in vain! Fertilize the rock of their hearts so that the seed you've ordained us to plant does not fall on barren soil! Save them Lord! May we speak truth in kindness and compassion. May we be gentle with those who have hurt so deeply. May we lead them into your loving, forgiving, transformative hands! "The church is not supposed to be the dictator/ruler nor slave of a nation but it is to be the conscious." Even if your word falls on deaf ears, it is your will that we speak it. Give us strength Lord. Give us courage. In Jesus holy name, Amen!
