I tend to look at the price relative to the customer review ratings when purchasing any guitar. Higher price guitars with very high customer ratings usually means the guitar has better materials, better sound, lower action, guitar stays in tune, etc. I would never buy a guitar with low ratings, no matter the make. That being said, I only buy Martin & Co and Taylor guitars out of personal preference.
You're spot on with the strumming pattern. There are, however, five chords rather than four. The verse is G C D E (all major), but the chorus is G C D Em. It's a bit of a trick - verse = happy chords, sad lyrics :) but chorus = happy lyrics, but with a sad chord :(
Thanks for uploading this. Great videos! Question: Why don’t you mute the C and D chords with your thumb when you do the demonstration? Do you just not strum the lower E string when you are strumming those chords?
You're welcome, Ian. I personally prefer to mute the 6th string on the C chord with my ring finger. The ring finger is already on the 5th string, so I just use a piece of my ring finger to touch the 6th string as well so it muted it. As for the D chord, I tend to just avoid striking the 5th and 6th strings. This isn't the optimal way, but my hands aren't very big to mute with my thumb lol
Only channel where its simple and straight to the point

Hi, Hmm that really depends on your budget lol
@@JTTechie ok, but does the make of the guitar make any difference?
