Drew would be a great addition to Rotor Riot any day of the week. Like the video's he has been part of with the Rotor Riot group. Great build video Drew.
I really enjoy content with Drew on any channel. I picked up a Fusion a while ago because if him. I just wish I had his smooth flying skills. Thanks Rotor Riot, thanks Drew!
drew is excellent at this, great episode, i recently crashed my quad bad with an Arris F3 pdb and fc stack and installed one of these DYS AIO f4's from ready made rc, works great
Drew, you are my favorite freestyle drone pilot!!! And I really like the way you build this drone on this video. It's very CLEAN and look sooooweetz and very NICEEEE built drone the way you did, that's AWESOME! Thank you for sharing this video! 👍🏻
This is crazy!!! I was thinking, JUST LAST WEEK, "Hey, I should order all the parts to build the Le Drib Fusion, to exact specs and post the video on TH-cam as a fan favorite episode!" ........... But then Rotor Riot and Le Drib team up against me and do it first! WTH guys??? LOL great video, and I think I still may do the video anyway ;-)
Hell yeah :-) Will do, Drew! I've already started the order, should be a few weeks til the video will be ready. I will let you know when i release it! Thanks for the motivation, can't wait to fly "your" quad :-D
Great job Drew! Not as detailed as the alien build, but really find it informative and helpful. My first build was made possible by Chad's vid. So both my successful builds are Kiss. I have been wanting to try the Betaflight f3. Thanks to RR and you for taki g the time to make this video.
So does this make it official Drew? You part of the Riot now? Great build video and I'm sure "the Chad" was behind the extra special effects and sounds and the camera....nice work as usual boys!
Great build video! good job drew. HEY idea for future VIDEO! LIPO disposal with a twist. I know flight test has about 9 million old lipo's sitting around. You should do a proper/ realistic disposal video, along with a fun crazy version with quads and dropping lawn darts at old battery's or something! Rotor Riot you rock!
Nice build Mr. Drib! I think the battery lead bending up due to the "com module" is a little sketchy but whatever works! Thanks for the entertaining build!
Things have changed a bit over the last 2 years! I clicked on many of your provided links to purchase the parts that you mentioned in your video. I really want to build this thing! It will be my first complete build and your instructions are great! Could you recommend alternate choices of parts to replace the ones in this video that are no longer available?
Love that 'Com Docker'. I've been trying to design something like that for my structural stack quad. That design wont work for my need but I can change it up and lay the rx / vtx horizontal and it'll be good to go! Is there a STL for that or is it a MQC store item?
DREWSKI! It is so awesome to see you making build vids with the Rotor Riot crew. I hope you work together for a good long time. My only (hopefully constructive) criticism is that some of the shots feel super rushed, and it's like you've moved on before the camera even focuses. Not sure whether that's Drew, cameraman, the camera itself, gravitational or magnetic anomalies, or extraterrestrial interference. Otherwise I feel the need to order parts and build one just to try out the fun-ness. Looks like a blast and much smaller than my 250s.
Thanx for the build vid just one ? So do all of the units & props that was constructed in this video comes as a kit other that the go pro camera I’ve checked the the site & didn’t see it I wanna do the build as well. And again thanks for the 101 build class loved it peace & prosperity
It looks like you connect the receiver to uart3 tx pad? are the diagrams I have found incorrect? I'm showing the second one from the bottom as rx3. Edit: There is an error in the provided diagram. I see you have it correct.
You used the short screws on the plate for the frame but those are for the standoffs, the long ones go in the plate or at least it seems it catches the nylock that way ;)
Agreed! Just realized this same thing after assembling the frame. Included in the frame kit; 8 standoffs = 16 short screws; base plate and arms = 12 long screws. No screws remaining so I went to Home Depot purchased 2 pkgs (3 in each just wong!) of "socket cap screws" size M3-0.5 x 20 mm for the electronics. At 51 pennies per pkg, they fit very nicely recessed and in black, a stark contrast to the 12 frame screws. I suppose you could assemble it anyway ya want. Fit and function = congrulicious behavior!
Drew provides the correct frame/arm and topo plate standoffs (see time @ 21:00 ish) . I was reviewing for other reminder info, caught this. Great build Drew, just finished my build, dressed in green standoffs. Waiting for the MQC comdock! Wondering if a 'mod kit' will be available to covert to the new Fusion split deck...I'm thinking that'll be a first for the quad community to modify the frame components. Raise the bar; lower the ceiling!
I'm really intrigued by the idea of a stretch X, would it be possible to rotate the arms by 90 degrees and get a Stretch X from the Squashed X? Or would the holes be off?
Nice Machine! Nearly the same components as my IFlight IX5 (I used the real Omnibus Pro F4, a 30A 4in1 (Airbot) and DYS Storm motors (for me DYS is a perfect compromise of price and qualety))
Plug the Spektrum serial telemetry receiver into the TX pin of the UART; then It'll be able to deliver telemetry from the flight controller (at least with recent betaflight versions).
i love DYS motors. im still rocking the DYS se2205 pro 2300kv motors on two of my builds. i never considered upgrading since they are in most cases putting out the same or less thrust then my 14 dollar se2205pro motors. so you have any Intel on a up to date motor from DYS? these have been out for a hot minute (8 months or so) and a bit outdated! not saying they are bad motors but we are almost half way through 2017, these things are old fashion lol awesome flying man!
So I am really wanting to build this drone but some of the parts are out of stock everywhere. So I was wondering when those parts will be back in stock
Hey LeDrib or anyone. Ive had 2 quads now have problems with yawing to the left and wobbling only a bit during a strong punchout or during any high throttle. One quad is an eachine wizard, 1 is an armattan chameleon frame. Both on a turnigy evo. Ive tried raising tpa, lowering tpa breakpoint and dropping p values. Nothing has really ironed it out dshot600. Any help or advice?
just had a question about audio hook up, i have the exact same setup as your quad on this video and was wondering if i hook up the white wire from the Tramp hv transmitter to the flight board then were do I hook up a microphone wire so i can have audio transmitted to my googles.
FYI if you solder the RX + wire to the buzzer + port then you will have power to the RX when you plug in USB. thats how I have mine on my chameleon and it works great.
Le Drib what battery is recommended for this set up and also I see you have been using hypetrain motors or the mr Steele motors in some of your newer vids. Can you maybe do a build update or a newer updated build video. I love this video because it gives me a good startup for someone just getting into the hobby of fpv freestyle
First off, Really hope you're a permanent fixture on the RR crew. You hear RR and you automatically put those pilots in the top respected in the hobby. I'm using the DYS F4 AIO in two of my builds. Coming from the Omnibus F3. Verdict is still out.. In one build I'm using 30a Littlebee Blheli_s Spring edition ESC's and the other 20a Littlebee Blheli_s Spring edition ESC's. The 30a won't run DSHOT 600 without desync issues. Note worked fine with the Omnibus F3. Both builds have lots of video noise. Well more than I'm use to. Also I'm not sure exactly which diagram you were able to pull up. But the one I did had the reference for Uart 3 tx and rx flipped. JC from Project Blue Falcon makes reference to this in his build with the DYS F4 AIO tutorials. Just throwing that out there just in case someone runs into an issue.
I just bought this frame and I'm thinking of using this FC also. Is it possible to get RSSI telemetry with all these exact components? I am using DX6 G3. Also, If I was to add an external mic and send the signal to the VTX is it still possible to change VTX settings and have audio from the mic while flying?
Hey drew I wanted to let you know that your vids are amazing and everyday when I re-watch a vid it watch a new one I love watching them they get me so interested and I tried to build this but I did everything wrong so all money went to waste so that made me sad so now I use drl sim. Also my spark but that’s not a freestyle drone.
Hey dude I love all your videos they are fully hypnotic I’ve been flying for a while now and I came across this little beauty I was wondering if it was possible for anyone to give me a link on all the bits and bob’s that are used for this kwad I’ve been wanting to build something to sit in a glass case for display and sheer beauty who doesn’t love purple another one or two as backups I want to thank you in advance and keep up the awesome work with Rotor Riot you guys are funny as hell
so happy to see Drew on the RR crew! he's a perfect fit and a great guy! woooooooo LE DRIB!!!!

Like the video's he has been part of with the Rotor Riot group.
Great build video Drew.
i love the fact that you have drib on your channel! great dude and great addition to your show!!!
Nice job Drew...technical, but not boring. You have a very good style that is engaging and entertaining, while not talking down to us noobs.

Drew thoroughly enjoyed tour build video. Thank you man.
I really enjoy content with Drew on any channel. I picked up a Fusion a while ago because if him. I just wish I had his smooth flying skills. Thanks Rotor Riot, thanks Drew!
:) Thank you Seaker
drew is excellent at this, great episode, i recently crashed my quad bad with an Arris F3 pdb and fc stack and installed one of these DYS AIO f4's from ready made rc, works great

The Fusion is a super durable frame, built mine over this past winter. The Comm Dock is a nice touch too. Nick really designed a great quad.
AV8 Fpv Thanks for love! 😍
Such an awesome frame.. I'm glad I held of from buying my second till now... Going to add bumpers to mine for extra scraping protection..
Waba 305 Johnson gre3

SweetThang _FPV now you have to do it
😍😍😍😍😍
Le Drib which motors should I order? 2600kv? or 2300kv? 🤔😀
Drew is so awesome and so REAL. Thanks for doing this RR. Should have him do a video on the CAPPERCINO and tasting next visit! 👍🏼👍🏼
ahaha yes the world needs to know more about the KAPPERCINO!
Fab quad build Drew!
thanks buddy :)
great build video guys
Makes me want to build a beautiful piece of art.nice and entertaining info Thanks🖒
Nice vid, hope to see more of you on RR
Great job Drew! Not as detailed as the alien build, but really find it informative and helpful. My first build was made possible by Chad's vid. So both my successful builds are Kiss. I have been wanting to try the Betaflight f3. Thanks to RR and you for taki g the time to make this video.

Excellent build video, Thanks!
Good job Drew, omg so amusing and educational.
tried to keep it informative and entertaining :)
finally le Drib plus rotor riot.
hurrah!!
No Loctite? That ComDock is just so sick, simple and elegant. Add Drew to the squad full time!!
Jordan Pohl Thanks for the CommDock love! I can't imagine building it without it! ☺️
Anyone have a link to the file that I can print?
Sweet just picked up the frame...
keep it up love the videos.
So does this make it official Drew? You part of the Riot now? Great build video and I'm sure "the Chad" was behind the extra special effects and sounds and the camera....nice work as usual boys!
THE BEST build video EVER !!!
:D
Great to see Drew with the RR crew. Keep him around please. Now if you could only get Tom Smith.....
Very informative and nice camera work.
Great build vid Drew!
Excellent job
This video is awesome thank you for this bro so inspirational im building my first quad thanks for the knowledge
This video is hilarious and very informative. Can't wait for Chad Kapper to actually get Drew on the Rotor Riot crew... like now... please?
Daniel Maurer We couldn't agree more! 😈☺️
Nice build Mr. Drib! I think the battery lead bending up due to the "com module" is a little sketchy but whatever works! Thanks for the entertaining build!
holy dribbing solder balls. Le Dribler, you do perfect soldering jobs.
Smoothest motors for the smoothest pilot
Congrats Drew
Awesome build! Just bought that Flight Controller hopefully my build works with it :D Just hope my old D4R-II works as nicely
awesome build! so glad to see drew as part of rotor riot. only one thing... NO LOCTITE!?!?
very nice and clean build. Pls add Battery Softpad for the top and the landing Pads in the kit, same as the Alien Kit!
great build video thanks
great build video, dude
So waht up Drew? Are you officially part of RR now? If so, congratulations. Good addition
thanks man
Doesn't the vtx antenna start to come unscrewed when mounted and bent like that, after doing some quick flips to the right?
Things have changed a bit over the last 2 years! I clicked on many of your provided links to purchase the parts that you mentioned in your video. I really want to build this thing! It will be my first complete build and your instructions are great! Could you recommend alternate choices of parts to replace the ones in this video that are no longer available?
I hope drew stays on the rotor riot crew for long term. He seems to fit in well lol
where can you get the rubber stand offs
Omg the old flite test field!!
RedOps3 Ah yes, and good old Windestal Tricopter. Love mine.
Omg it is. I thought it looked familiar. Just couldnt place it.
To 24:19 the anntena cable and the anntena for vtx are near ..does that makes bad signal ???
Love that 'Com Docker'. I've been trying to design something like that for my structural stack quad. That design wont work for my need but I can change it up and lay the rx / vtx horizontal and it'll be good to go!
Is there a STL for that or is it a MQC store item?
Hello, Quick question about the kit. Is Drew included?
ok I love that com dock. where can I get a couple of those?
Looks like a blast and much smaller than my 250s.
definitely magnetic anomalies haha
But thanks for the feedback :)
Maybe we'll slow down just a bit for the next one
Thanx for the build vid just one ? So do all of the units & props that was constructed in this video comes as a kit other that the go pro camera I’ve checked the the site & didn’t see it I wanna do the build as well.
And again thanks for the 101 build class loved it peace & prosperity
Sweet frame. Think ill scoop one.
I really like the comdoc idea
Is there a 6" version of this frame by chance? I really like it! Well done !
It looks like you connect the receiver to uart3 tx pad? are the diagrams I have found incorrect? I'm showing the second one from the bottom as rx3.
Edit: There is an error in the provided diagram. I see you have it correct.
where do you get battery strap with metal loop?
Two are included with the kit. They are also available seperate here: shop.miniquadclub.com/shop/accessories/mqc-battery-straps-large/
Great video Drew, very much enjoyed it. What kv are the Fire motors you use? Looks like the ones in this video are 2300kv.
You used the short screws on the plate for the frame but those are for the standoffs, the long ones go in the plate or at least it seems it catches the nylock that way ;)

Hi, i want to ask u what is the frame size and what is the props size ? Thank you.
Nice build.
Allright Drew, 313 in da house! Chads house, LOL.. nice bro....
I'm really intrigued by the idea of a stretch X, would it be possible to rotate the arms by 90 degrees and get a Stretch X from the Squashed X? Or would the holes be off?
What do you think about mounting the arms above the bottom plate to move the props closer to the cg?
Nice Machine! Nearly the same components as my IFlight IX5 (I used the real Omnibus Pro F4, a 30A 4in1 (Airbot) and DYS Storm motors (for me DYS is a perfect compromise of price and qualety))

How much does it weight without gopro (but with stand for GP) and battery?
do u have rotor riot back packs on the store or field bags like the lowepro in the background?
Hey LeDrib or anyone. Ive had 2 quads now have problems with yawing to the left and wobbling only a bit during a strong punchout or during any high throttle. ayyyee now thats a good tip!
Nice build! I like the comdock, is there a stl for download somewhere?
I could only find them for purchase below, no .STL files shop.miniquadclub.com/product-category/accessories/3d-printables/
Thanks for the link!
woohoo www.prop.city loves rotor riot! and ledrib!
Do you know what the weight is on this build ? W/O battery and GoPro?
I did the signal wire like that also They are different on both sides.
Drew, is it a good idea to land a drone in angle mode? (Lots of camera uptilt)
What's the motor preference? 2300 vs 2600? Never ran anything over 2345kv on 5x4x3's. Tempted to do 2600 but idk man.
go for it the 2600 are a blast! 2300 is a good all around motor without being over powered but if you usually run lower, try something different :)
Le Drib Is 5s on 2600kv ok?
Le Drib what battery is recommended for this set up and also I see you have been using hypetrain motors or the mr Steele motors in some of your newer vids. Can you maybe do a build update or a newer updated build video. I love this video because it gives me a good startup for someone just getting into the hobby of fpv freestyle

Not sure about the video noise? I've never had a problem with this board hmm

can you plz give me a link for those soft-mount rubber standoffs
Can anyone point me in the direction of those rubber standoffs mentioned at 3:40 ? I can't find them on the interwebs to buy anywhere :(
do you prefer the Tramp rather than the tbs unify pro?.. the pigtail on the unify is so flimsy
Pretty cool !! -
Does Rotor Riot sell this combo VTX Transmitter and Receiver 3D Printed mount accessory?
Hey drew I wanted to let you know that your vids are amazing and everyday when I re-watch a vid it watch a new one I love watching them they get me so interested and I tried to build this but I did everything wrong so all money went to waste so that made me sad so now I use drl sim. Also my spark but that’s not a freestyle drone.
My number one takeaway from this video is that I need to get a leg up on the build surface! Do you have to stretch before hand? ;)
definitely recommend stretching before. I almost pulled a muscle!
which battery do you recommend how much volts, a
and how many sels
Where did you get those rubber standoffs with two female sides?
Hey dude I love all your videos they are fully hypnotic I’ve been flying for a while now and I came across this little beauty I was wondering if it was possible for anyone to give me a link on all the bits and bob’s that are used for this kwad I’ve been wanting to build something to sit in a glass case for display and sheer beauty who doesn’t love purple another one or two as backups I want to thank you in advance and keep up the awesome work with Rotor Riot you guys are funny as hell
Where did you get that antenna plate ??
whats the battery specs on this quad?
I use 4S, typically 1300mah but I also have 1500mah
