Scott’s E3 videos are mad underrated. I get why a video on E3 2001 wouldn’t get as many views as other topics, but I love seeing all this history truncated into these videos.
Are they underrated? I think they are some of his strongest content. It combines video game history with that Scott humor. It’s kinda perfect. Too bad we will probably never see another E3 retrospective…. since Scott appears to be on track for 6 videos a year now.
sound strange, but after I watched the e3 2017-2022 comp i wanted a comp of the older ones, and instead of putting all of those video in a queue, I waited for this. I am happy.

I love those compilations so much cause you can clearly see Scott's development as a creator as well and it makes me admire him even more

I'd say $299 was the biggest one, because that was them immediately entering the industry with a massive bang.

I in the present year of 2018 have never been to E3 but still thinks it's kinda cool and would like to go, i hope no worldwide pandemic or something sets off a chain of events that end with it being canceled
I wish I could have been a booth babe at least once before E3 died... I also live in Indiana, so getting the job in L.A. would have been pretty hard.
I was in high school from 96-99. It was the greatest time to be a teenager. From movies to music to games, the late 90s delivered 💯

I was at the 2001 show. Super awesome show. Got to play the ps2 and demos of gran turismo, metal gear solid 2, which they had a really great setup! Also, Nintendo gave out a bunch of free Advances which of course me being me, missed out on. :(. Good times though.

It’s funny looking back at the N64 when Nintendo was struggling to get games out because of the challenges that came with the introduction of the third dimension and now it’s like there’s so many games on the switch! Meanwhile PlayStation and Xbox are struggling to get more than like two games out on their consoles. Sometimes you just gotta wait and life will reward you :)

We've had more $299 moments for the past 23 years in a row.......Nintendo and Playstation has had xbox bent over a barrel since it was released........now xbox is in emergency survival mode and NEED to put their exclusives on other platforms.
Last year was kind of lame, but this year was basically an E3, Summer Games Fest was good, Xbox was good, Sony exists probably, Nintendo was good though a week late to the party, if these digital conferences keep happening like this every year we could continue these series, just call it Summer Games Fest and Friends.
Sony got a head start on SGF, but the only thing anyone remembered from that was the Snake Eater remake and Spider-Man 2
