- As many of you are aware, we're no stranger to tuning BMW's...so when the opportunity came to tune a new Ineos Grenadier that houses a B57 found in the G series, we jumped at the chance!
But with limited time and new factors to face, things didn't go to plan...🤔

The car didn't like being on the Dyno so we couldn't get an accurate reading

Possibly but we've done B57's before. There's just something about it that didn't like to be tuned in this one
I've seen b57 single turbo with healthy 430hp
But not with off road tyres and 4wheel drive.

B57 in this one, B58 is the petrol version

so someone bought a big , clunky 4*4 & isn't happy with it's performance ?? what were they expecting ??

For what engine they have you would expect a little more from them but due to drive train and tyres, it's massively reduced. The dyno was also having a hard time reading the car properly. It didn't like the dyno
@@DarksideDevelopmentsmy F6 is making ~85% more power from factory just through a retune and getting more air into the turbo. Idiots don’t understand how detuned some of these engines are like this BMW model. Even a 10-20% increase without impacting reliability would be epic.
The B58 in the Ineos is heavily detuned compared to actual BMWs. It needs a tune.

Couldn't get into the ECU on it and customer needed it back same day so didn't have time to play with it

It's a BMW motor and gearbox. There isn't much else BMW in it.
