    1. It is LOW FOAM since it is going on deck(not HIGH FOAM as mentioned on video). HIGH EXPANSION FOAM on deck would just not be usefull as if there was any wind, it would blow the foam away.
    2. By the looks of the metal plate on minute 1:00 the manufacturer I assume would be the company NAKAJIMA. What to test more/inspect:
    A: IF the starting procedure is written. In this case is written by very poorly (minute 1:05). It does not state the limitations of the equipment. For example the NAKAJIMA system that i encountered on a SUEZMAX TANKER(system which very much resemblace with the one the video): the FOAM PUMP did not go more than 8 bars and the water pressure inlet on the PROPORTIONER should always have been 1 bar less than the FOAM PUMP PRESSURE(DISCHARGE PRESSURE) otherwise the FOAM CONCENTRATE would not inject/mix with water and go on deck.
    B: EVEN with point A in mind there is still some things to clarify: if maxim 8bar out on FOAM PUMP this would mean that 7 should be maximum on the water line, right? Well actually is wrong. Discharge pressure on the foam monitor was for 5 bars calculated at the inlet of foam monitor(although with plain water would go up to 16bars - more even than the fire pump could ever reach). Furthermore this 5 bar limitation was also on the FOAM APPLICATOR. BUT the system was designed for the use of ONE FOAM MONITOR AND 2 FOAM APPLICATORS at the same time. So in case of EMERGENCY you make 5 bars on the water line, make the water foam mix and send it on deck through FOAM MONITOR. After opening the FOAM MONITOR, ONLY THEN you can increase up to maximum of 7 bars, provided that you use the additonal 2 foam hydrants/foam applicators (at this point you are also sending the firefighters to tackle the fire with foam hoses)
    ONE MORE VERY IMPORTANT THING THAT I ENCOUNTERED IN MY EXPERIENCE is the inlet FLOW of WATER before the proportioner. In my case it was limited to 6000L/min. FROM MY ENGINE ROOM it was common line until it split the water into FOAM LINE AND FIRE LINE. VERY IMPORTANT.
    C: Provided that you have a small fire (5 minutes) and you extinguished it, then you need to bring the system back to its original readiness state.
    But before this you need to do a thorough flushing. There is no instruction on how to do the flushing in the video. On the ship that I was, there were 2 flushing methods one good and one bad (both in the manufacturer manual pdf. The good one required to make the line up and start the fire pump to clean the FOAM pump without starting the foam pump. The other method was stating the same but with the start of FOAM PUMP which is wrong because it would create to much foam inside the FOAM PUMP. It would be as if you put detergent into a bucket and stirr it - foam will be created). Provided that until the destination port another fire rises, system should go flawless.
    D: Every half of year the pump should be run on recirculation mode for 20/30 minute (ON THE NAKAJIMA manufacturer) the reason being to mix the foam into the tank and through this to ALSO simulate a full discharge of the FOAM TANK. THE 20/30 minute rule from SOLAS. By doing this recirculation we keep the foam fresh and also check the FOAM PUMP for good condition, overheating, bearing noise etc.
    E: I wrote A, B,C and D in order to have a better grasp and also to avoid one big mistake which resulted in the FOAM PUMP to burst foam through its gasket, basically becoming INOPERABLE for that day. IT ALL DEPENDS UPON MANUFACTURER MANUAL INSTRUCTION WHICH COVER MORE INFO( mine even had all the calculation of the system, how many foam monitors required, how much working pressure, how to do the flushing)
