Hello, I would say LC/MS/MS was and is the standard method to get specific values for single PFAS. TOPA (Total Oxidisable Precursor Assay) is a bit the new kid in town (although it has been there for a couple of years now). It makes sense as most legislation also goes after precursors. But depending on where you live, it might not be that well established (finding a laboratory can be an issue) and standardized. So my advice: If detail are importanted values, contact the authority having jurisdiction to check what method to use.
