You can have all of the money in the world and again as long as you have Holy Spirit you're going to heaven. I attended this church 10+ years ago - my son was baptized there. There was a Halloween service that was so worldly it led my ex husband and I to write directly to he and his wife (they were much smaller church then). Their response led us to leave and never return. This is intentional blasphemy. They are not unaware.

As the child of two well off Christian parents, I would disagree with him. He says we gotta focus on getting money for our children. While we should strive to provide, that’s just one of the things a Christian parent should do. Growing up, I had summer vacations, dirt bikes, extra curricular activities, video games, etc. And I would’ve traded all of that fun stuff for parents who gave me themselves. We didn’t eat together, we didn’t pray together, read the Bible together, etc. We were like four strangers with the same last name under one roof. I don’t want to sound ungrateful for what I did have. I just want to say that a focus on money can leave a family empty and hurting, even as they’re surrounded by things.
This freed me! Always felt so much pressure to leave an inheritance to my children! I had a wrong view on scripture and will trust God to do all I can and let Him be my provision!
