I'm struggling just to keep up on car payments, and it's not even a Rolls Royce or Lamborghini, just a normal Nissan, which I bought when I had a full time job, but since then, times have changed for the worse- I cannot imagine why someone would buy a hot tub they can't afford. A hot tub is a luxury while a basic car to get to and from work is a necessity, and that's something I call the lender about, because I try in good faith to pay what I can afford in an effort not to lose my livelihood- but I will not buy a hot tub until I pay for it in full, because unlike a car, a hot tub is not a requirement for livelihood, and will only buy one if my car is paid off free and clear- only then can I truly relax.
First one of the repo episodes I’ve seen. Exciting and interesting, but ‘m glad it was you and not me - people are crazy. Even though you are getting back what was in essence stolen from you, many people don’t act rationally, and irrational behavior is often violent. If only people were revealed for who they are...a family that lives in that house, on that land, bought a hot tub on time payments? I know they are not cheap, but they are a definite luxury item ...and one that 80% (or more) of the homes in America DON’T have. You hold off on purchases you can’t readily afford (at least I do). I call that faking success (and I think it’s done A LOT in this country). I certainly feel for people whose life situation changes to where they can’t make the rent on time ( due to a job loss, illness, etc.). But not for people who are conspicuous consumers, and phony ones at that. Good job.

i didnt even realize there were people that repo'd hot tubs... why do people buy things they cant afford.. off the top of my head that thing is probably like 5 grand. they have inflatable ones that are like 500 bucks. and im sure they go all the way to 100 grand. damn.

I just found you and love your channel! I'm wondering about a couple things. I've watched car repo channels for quite some time and understand that process pretty well. Are hot tubs the same? Does the debtor pay your repo fee, late payment fees, remainder of balance after hot tub is sold at auction (or however you sell it) and get their credit ruined?

Hello Junior, No never caught.. They cannot charge me with trespassing unless they have clearly marked signs.. They sign a contract stating that I have access to my hot tub at any time and that they understand it is my hot tub until it is paid for... If they refuse to let me pick up the tub and they could I could sue them for the loss of sales on the tub, my pick up fees as well as my attorneys fees and I would still get my tub back.. So it would be in their best interest to let me have it.. The biggest danger is the tub gets missing.. which has happened.. If it does happen I could sue them for the full value of the tub as if I picked it up and they would not be able to use the money they already paid to pay it down.. Suing is a hassle so I grab the tub.. I used to go and try to work it out but lost tbs that way now I slip in and get it.. and a couple of the ones I filmed moved the tubs hours away.. So,who was flying the drone while you were loading the spa? And for somebody in a hurry it seems odd to tale the time to set up a video camera to record yourself.
The Drone will hover in place where ever I stop it and it takes about 3 total minutes to place cameras.. I just place them and let them recording at different angles and I also have cameras mounted in the truck that I simply turn toward the action... Videoing the action makes it more fun and exciting and gives you something to watch.. Thanks for watching, Spa Guy
