I recently changed some parts of my system to make it a little more compact. 2.5b3 BP-19 and BDA-3.14 is the new set up. Went from 2.5b3 BP-26 BDA-3 BDP-3 and EAR 834P. Hopefully less will be more. The BP-19 and BDA-3.14 are promised end of January. Fingers crossed.

Very true about integrateds vs separates: with separates you are always thinking "If I just upgrade that pre/power amp (you choose) I'll have the perfect system." Of course there is no perfect system but the hamsters that spin that wheel in your head don't know that.
I used to have a Bryston 2BLP pro dual mono amplifier. It developed an issue a few months after it turned *18 years old.* I was the 2nd owner and sent it to Bryson and they refurbed it to factory standard specifications and returned it to me no charge. It does't get any better than that. Ultimately I moved on from that amp as it wasn't the sound I was looking for, but the people I let borrow that amp loved it. Bryston build quality is second to none.

Have Bryston A1 loudspeakers. A year now. Had one issue took the bad one to my dealer and was given a brand new one on the spot. When I got home an hour later they found the issue. Was told keep the new one. Talk about customer service. I’m fortunate to have a great dealer. He has been with Bryston since 1985. Their electronics would be end game for me. I have heard many of them. Appreciate your thoughts.

@@greatlookinglandscap I hope they can restore that high customer service factor. I have heard a little bit they are slipping. Not in my case though.

The new moxie toxi preamp pairs well with the new unlimited alpha mega block 5 When connected with zither cable. But you have to use multistrada zither cable. Then you will literally be able to hear the jazz hands wave around.

Dave totally agree about the quantity of Bryston Always heard good things about Bryston Just recently my Anthem MCA 5 lost the right channel I found a used Bryston 3B -ST 3 channel amp that I bought fir my AV system I use it sometimes to drive my Maggie's and to give my VAC tube amp a break I must say I really like it's sound and it sounds very dynamic for being rated at 125 watts per channel When I insert it into my 2 channel rig with my ARC LS15 pre amp it takes little volume to get 75 to 85 db and that's with the volume knob at 9ish position
But don't ask me how to connect RCA to the Bryston 😅

A good product but the integrated amp gain design is strange.I mean literally till noon on the dial then bang!

@greatlookinglandscap Yeah that's not good Even when I use my VAC tube amp the volume is set to just over 9 o'clock to get at least 75 or more db

    Great advice Dave.
I remember when I was involved in the sound system at my church they used the Bryston 3B that was in about 83' 84'. The good ole days.😂

Ever since owning a Lector Z.O.E tube pre with a Pass Labs x-250 around 15/20 years ago I’ve stuck with the tube pre solid state amp combo. Just my preference. My current rig is Audio Research pre into Krell Evo amp. If I could find a great integrated w tube/ss setup I’d be willing to switch. Unfortunately, choices are very limited. As far as Bryston goes, I remember how disappointed I was with my 4bst . I would switch back and forth between the 4bst and an Aragon 4004 mkII. The Aragon was so much better. Many years later I auditioned the 4bsst3. Wow . I couldn’t believe how far Bryston had come in terms of sq while still offering a 20 yr warranty. I hope they keep things on track

With Integrated Amplifiers. Im interested but, I’m always scared about Phono Stage because the noise of the other parts of the amp, and the power supply, that why I never like Tuners

I understand.I would also stay away from built in unless its the bel canto e1x and the rest of the black line.Very very few integrated amps on the market have an reference level Lomc/mm phono stage especially a dead quiet one.
