We rented a cottage in Hawaiian Paradise Park and it really is remote! We were not aware of the coqui frogs before we arrived and they are so loud. It was dark, and pouring rain and the frogs were sooooo loud. Quite an experience! We enjoy your videos, thanks for keeping everyone informed!
I’ve heard that theft is a problem at HPP. Especially, for those people who sometimes maybe make a trip to another island or are away for a while. Can you speak about that? Is theft, a big problem in the Puna District? Considering maybe getting our slice of paradise after my brother passes away from terminal cancer. We like the affordability there… But have seen a few TH-cam videos that talk about the problem of theft. Thank you for hopefully replying to my question.
When moving to the East side, what belongings would you Not recommend bringing? Because goods are not as easy to come by as on the mainland, perhaps shipping things like furniture & cars would be less expensive? But how does leather hold up in such a humid environment? Thanks for all the great info you provide!
@Amber, I tried emailing you. It came back Mailer Damon unknown. May I please have your email so we can re connect about home shopping in Puna. Mahalo.
