What game in the 2023 post season do you think the Rangers lost on the ROAD?
They swept Tampa in the wild card series, swept Baltimore in the ALDS and won all three road games so far in he ALCS.
It will not matter to me unless TX wins the next game but I did love Garcia shutting up the crowd when they all were standing for hopefully Garcia's 5th K.
Didn’t like how a bunch of baseball “fans” online clowned on Garcia for not only celebrating a huge home run in a tight game, but also for not liking that hbp and blaming him for the loss in game 5. Glad he’s shut them up, hopefully he can preform in game 7

If you drill a player with a fastball you can’t predict how he’ll react in that situation. In the moment Garcia could’ve thought it was intentional and that’s why he reacted in that way.
I don’t think the pitch was intentional, the Astros came out and said it wasn’t intentional, I just didn’t like the disrespect Garcia got from the whole situation.

As a Giants fan, hope the Rangers make it to the World Series because it’s nice to see different teams in it. I think Astros will win Game 7 because they lost so badly this game. Astros have a good chance to win but I would prefer the Rangers to especially for the Giants former manager, Bruce Bochy!!

It may be the 2nd playoff series that home teams would lose in every game. Astros lost to Nats in 2019 WC with that.
Look back at the stats, Rangers team bat.avg., OBP%, and SLG% are much better than those of the Astros including pitching. I'm very surprised that the series still ties at 3-3.

This whole game felt like redemption from Game 5. A few examples I can name are how Leclerc gets out of the jam this time, the offense extends the 4-2 lead when they need to unlike last game, and heck, even Adolis Garcia hits a dagger grand slam after all of the drama between him and the Astros.
Playoff baseball is special. High drama, bases getting loaded, some pitchers working out of it, some not. Every single pitch is a chess match. Win or lose, you have to respect the heart that all four of these teams have. The players and their wise managers give us unique opportunities to celebrate life through a truly wonderful game.
To think the Rangers would be in the World Series if it wasn’t for that Altuve Homer in the 9th smh

it wasn’t even the Altuve homer. it was the whole Garcia commotion in the 8th inning that messed up the Rangers from continuing the rally they had going and also didn’t help the the closer who got cold due to the long pause of the game

I was skeptical a little over 10 years ago, when then the "Astros" was switched to the AL West during realignment and a sale to a New Owner.
After this 2023 season including a memorable ALCS playoff, Astros and Rangers has now become the hottest Intra-State rivalry in history of Texas Pro Sports. This is now approaching Giants/Dodgers and Yankees/Red Sox category. So congrats to MLB for this now already memorable playoff series.

I knew this series was going to go the distance! Honestly, it could go either way in game 7, but I am still proud of where the Rangers are. Nobody even expected them to get this far when the season started. If you told me this team would be in the ALCS heading to a game 7 this year, after they lost 94 games last year, I would have laughed at you in disbelief haha. I'm not counting the Astros out though, I will just enjoy the ride and see where it takes us! 🙌

These games are stressful
As an Astros fan, I can say most of our players and fan base aren’t devastated about being eliminated. It’s disappointing for sure, but we have nothing to be embarrassed about.
7 straight ALCS’s, 4 ws in that span, we’ve won the West 6-7 years now, and not to mention we have 2 rings!
We’ve got a great team, and despite our elimination, we always have next year. Go ‘Stros! 🤘
Yea I don’t see the Angels or Athletics getting good anytime soon. The Mariners are good and should fight for a wild card again. I had stopped following baseball for awhile and just knew that the Nationals had won it in game 7 🤯 the Astros are cursed apparently... they were one of only 2 teams (The Reds) with a winning record this year that had a losing record at home, it definitely hits them worse in the playoffs for some reason in such a smaller window. Interesting though to also see the Rangers lose 4 at home, considering they had one of the best home records in the league this year

As a longtime New York Yankees fan, it's really refreshing to see the Texas Rangers get to the World Series. And I'm so grateful to see my team enjoy the first year of multiple years missing the playoffs.
Memo to GM Brian Cashman: you got rid of an Ace pitcher in Jordan Montgomery and you signed up a washed up pitcher in Rodan.
And gave long-term contracts to #99, Aaron "I fell in Love with strikeouts and double-plays, instead of delivering absolute clutch 2-out base hits with Runners-In-Scoring-Position" Judge.
Texas Rangers fans, thank you for educating me and all of my fellow Yankees fans that having a few down seasons and rebuilding both the farm system full of infield/outfield positional and pitching talent and signing key veterans who desire winning above their personal statistics is truly important. @@MichaelWais To me that was the Yankees’ fanbase’s relative low point as of recently. Considering the fact that all six umpires and MLB believed Abreu hit García intentionally, I think they had no right to boo him, but Houston’s fanbase’s low point came in 2019/2020 when there was basically no condemnation of what their team had been doing to win games throughout their entire fanbase where I lost respect not just for the Astros as an organization but for theAstros community also. The Yankees fans are definitely more entitled but as far as nastiest and my least favorite fans I’d take the Astros even though Yankees and Phillies are both answers that I respect and I get what you mean. Either way you will catch me every year praying on both teams’ downfalls 👍

Yep, me too. Knew he was going to give up runs. I blame Dusty for bringing him in in a tight game. Dumb decision as always and he REFUSES to start Diaz at catcher so if we lose today it'll be 100% Dusty's fault. Hope we can get a real manager that can make better decisions in the off-season - which can be very soon after tonight.
