I cannot tell if this was deliberately done or his peformances could not have been grasped properly by judges Perhaps he was above imagination. Therefore, now being free as a professional he may fly as high as he wants by using his reach imagination in creating Hanyu-san's special and original figure skating style tending more to art performance and telling the stories including the profound emotions he is capable of, everything based of course on his stunning technical skating skills. After all he has proven all that in his so successful solo ice shows of extreme lenght in comparisson to the competing SP-s and FS-s. May he be blessed with health, stamina and success for he deserves due to his yearlong hard work nothing less than that.
man I was SO sad when yuzuru retired from competing but after watching his ice stories I'm so glad he did. now he has the creative freedom he's wanted for so long. I enjoy watching RE_PRAY miyagi day 2 in ways I couldn't enjoy competitive performances. there's so much less tension on the ice, and when he makes a mistake you can see him laugh it off, like he knows now that its okay to be human.
