It's literally 4 am and I am lying in my bed, crying while watching this video. Idk why I just felt like crying. I really really love yuzuru. He is so inspiring that even me a person who has no knowledge about this sport still follows him and watch him closely. I am trying to learn though but figure skating is quite hard and fast paced I think it will take me a lot of time to learn.

As cool as winning a competition while injured is, I wish Yuzu and other skaters would prioritise their health more. Yuzu has always decided to skate despite injuries, like in 2014 Cup of China when he had a head injury and still skated and in Beijing 2022 where he skated even though he’s injured his ankle. I hope that he spends his retirement wisely and nurse his injuries well before giving more shows. Thank god he has no permanent injuries, there are skaters who skated while injured and ended up having career-ending injuries.
I think at Rostelecom, he did consider all options. As he said, he knew the moment he fell GPF was out of question and he also knew if he competed, there was no chance he'd be fit enough for JNats (compared to the 10-20% he had if he WD) but finishing his fs inspired by 'Tribute to Nizhinsky' while in Russia was more important to him.
The other skaters and the girl were really kind towards Yuzu, they offered help in getting on the podium 💗
