It probably means she actually is a fan. So often these youtube channels find some movie, series or anime that has a fan base and get one of their people to talk about it as though they're a fan, even though they haven't actually seen it before. It's really obvious when one of these fake fans narrates as they get pronunciations (and sometimes even basic facts about the show) wrong. I'm glad in this case the narrator is actually a fan.
I was actually thinking the very opposite. This person is just a “journalist” and isn’t an actual fan of the show. I noticed they didn’t get the pronunciation of ‘Colum’ correct.
HURRY HURRY FOR NEXT SEASON! AS A CHRONICLLY ILL PERSON IM ALWAYS AFRAID IM GOING TO DIE BEFORE I SEE THE NEXT SEASON OF A SERIES I LOVE LOL. I JUST FOUND THIS SERIES AND LOVE IT! I BINGED IT ALL IN A LITTLE OVER A WEEK
I would miss Clara and Jamie so much if they were left out of any further series. There is so much chemistry between them and their emotional bond is so strong much stronger than any of the other characters in my view.
Droughtlander is really getting me down. I'm actually starting my THIRD reading of the series and I've rewatched the episodes innumerous times. I'm on the waiting lists at Amazon and my library for when Gabaldon's 8th book is released too. Does this make me pathetic? Amazingly I don't dream about Sam Heughan. You'd think I would given the amount of time I spend thinking about him.
I also like this series and I have watched all the episodes that have come out a few times. I have not read the books, so far I have only watched the series.
You sound pretty normal to me, Monica! Just last week I went into my spare room and located all the books of the series. I have them on a shelf in my bedroom now---about to start them all over again :)
Well, I have only read the series once- it only took me 5 months to read all 8 (granted, two of the months I was out of work when lockdown started.) Now I'm listening to the audio series, which Davina Porter is amazing-highly recommend it. And of course I have watched the show countless times. But I may have taken the obsession a bit far because I actually started learning Gaelic (again, when lockdown started) because I resented not understanding those parts! Tha mi ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig aon bhliadhna agus tha gaol agam air na leabhraichean. Tha Outlander agus Gàidhlig sgoinneil. Slàinte mhath! 🥃
The casting director is an absolute genius. The characters are done to perfection by the actors. I've watched the series three times, but after the first viewing I skipped over the worst of the violence. Some of those scenes were a bit drawn out, in my opinion. Attention to detail and authenticity is absolutely amazing overall, great cinematography, editing, and storytelling. There's a nod to modern day social justice messaging in the writing, but it's not too distracting and it is inevitable in contemporary media. I'm looking forward to Seasons 6 and 7.
Question I hope some answer it: Sassenach told Jamie when he asked her age: she is 27, he said when he is 40 she will be 245. So, How old was Jamie?????.......................Hum , silly question but.........................
In tv show it was meantioned that black jack whipped jamie when he was 18. Later Clair talking with black jack asks if he remember the boy who he whipped 4 Years ago. That made me think Jamie was 22
@@sandroribeiro7644 bruja is the spanish word and has a completelly diferent pronounciation, if the ship was portuguese it would be bruxa as the actors so well pronounced. For it to be bruja in portuguese the "j" would be pronounced almost like in english.
@@sandroribeiro7644 I was talking about the way it's pronounced in this video, they used the spanish version of the word. As for the way it was written in the 18th century I have no idea if it was with a "j" or an "x", but I doubt it was used to name a ship, no priest would bless a ship named witch... most ships has the name of a saints for divine protection.
Wonderful series. Love the characters in the high production value. There was one part that I found a little confusing. When John Gray comes to visit Jamie and Claire they meet his son in the woods with leeches on his legs but they don't introduce themselves and neither does their son. I wondered why they didn't wonder who he was since they didn't know that John Gray had arrived? Also when Mhurta brings Bonnet to the prison he puts himself in a precarious position because he is a wanted criminal himself. Why didn't he have Fergus to it? I guess it was a setup for the next scenes but I found it a bit illogical.
Outlander really deserves an award, this is the only series I watched and finished the whole seasons in just one week
Me too!! Ridiculous lol now I'm going crazy waiting any news of Season 6!! Maybe I'll read the books... ugh
You gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers.
And me 3!
So was just announced weeks agoo
Lol, me too finished all 5 seasons in a week 😂 and I thought I was the only one crazy 😂
The budget alone to make this show must be huge!
I was so happy to hear the narrator use the correct pronunciations on the actor's names. She even got Diana Gabaldon's name right. Well done.

I want them to go back to Scotland soooooo bad 😂😂
Yes as do I, they should have stayed for the clearances
Only if they avoid the fire on Fraser's Ridge, I'm guessing.
I always wondered how they made Gary’s legs appears as they did. One of many great visual effects.
The sets for the French episodes were incredible. A visual feast.
My father built the hydraulics for these ships !
Outlander is thee best series ive watched and i cant wait for the new season😍😍😍
I was impressed by all you mentioned here. There is so much done behind the scenes that adds to the imagination. Well done.
Wow. I was in awe with this show before and now even more after watching this. Amazing. They deserve all of the awards.
It was great for the producers of the series to make such visuals that they looked like real ones. It's fun to watch.

So thrilled when aunt tells claire off
So many secrets

I suppose that makes him 22
In the books outlander begins with a 23 years old Jaime
Yeh, I figured from that statement he was 22 years old. Since I didn’t read the books, I can only go by that statement.
In tv show it was meantioned that black jack whipped jamie when he was 18. Later Clair talking with black jack asks if he remember the boy who he whipped 4 Years ago. That made me think Jamie was 22
If my boss said I had to let maggots crawl on me I'd be having a sick day 😂
I should have known better I thought I'd actually be seeing them film some clips with the green screen
Just a small correction, the name of the ship is bruxa, not bruja.
It's Bruja, but its read bruxa

Snakes and maggots are not a big deal, It's not like acting opposite something that can actually harm you. Now the ants, they would get me.
A snake can’t actually harm you?? 🤔
Callum's legs, for sure.
Indian Ocean?
Quando vai ser dublado em Português Brasil
But the Cristabel was a real ship!
WHY WERE THEY ON THE INDIAN OCEAN??
Was was it shot in Jamaica

TRADUCELO AL ESPAÑOL GRACIAS.
So close, but then you mispronounced Colum.
Traduzcanlo al español xf!!
Hi Alicia how are you doing, you seems to be a hug fan of outlander, where have you been hope you and your family are safe from coronavirus?
The narrators voice is annoying.
