Sorry for the wait, hopefully we will be getting lots of winter no wind day, blue sky's after this lot of rain. Thanks for hanging in there waiting for a new vid, come say G'day if you see me out fishing.
@@Austin.harper Cheers mate but I work Sundays till 3pm, and trust me Im not too amazing in real life 🤣 Good luck, hope the rain clears enough and you hook into a few.
Rod is a Daiwa Gen Black Wild Weasel 2-6kg, reel is a Shimano Sedona 2500, 10-pound braid, 8-pound leader. Yeah I should have kept the whiting, they are tasty little suckers.
@@stringbean1010 I tend to drift with the tide most of the time, but I do have an old tent pole I keep inside my kayak that I put through the scupper hole of the kayak into the sand to anchor if Im fishing shallow whiting/flathead banks. You can see it in my video "Fishing the flats, exploring new flathead grounds" Only works in water up to a meter and a half deep.
Nice session mate , beautiful day for it .... thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers mate, no big flathead caught but an enjoyable day on the water. Thanks for watching.
Waiting so long for a vid. So much rain!!! Love your videos and hope to see you out there.

Th e weather has taken a 360 today😂
Has it ever, glad I managed to sneak a day in while the sun was out, looks wet again tomorrow as well🙄
Hey mate great video just wondering what some good colour slim swims would be cheers
The 2 colours I have the most luck on are motor oil and pearl. Good luck.
@@LoveYakken Thanks mate
Cracking session, that whiting would of been dinner if I caught him! What rod and reel set up are you running?

Love the TD black rods I've got the wicked weasel and a 1.5-4kg 6'4 pinster that for yak fishing good value if you can find them discounted.
Might be a silly question but do you have an anchor for your kayak ??
I have a plastic anchor that's made to use with kayaks but rarely use it. It's called a Coopers Anchor if you want to google it.
@@LoveYakken How do you stay in the one spot then or stay next to a little whiting hole ?
