I think it just depends where you are raised in the South if you say Reesee Cup or Reese's Cup . I have lived in Nashville, Tennessee my whole life and have never said Reesee Cup , but have heard lots of people call them that . Hi Jen, I have enjoyed your videos but I wonder how you feel about waste. I'm not judging and I'm not trying to be mean but I've been a bit concerned by how much waste you make. You could have marinated in a glass dish. You could have reused the paper plate you grated the cheese on to cut the meatballs or you could even have used s cutting board. We need to start reducing waste please think about this.
Love to see redo's ( what we call leftovers in our house, lol ) my family didn't really like leftovers so I always made them into something different like you did with the chicken. Would love to see more of those. CONGRATULATIONS on the 100k, you deserve more!! I buy bottled juice because it's always consistent, flavor wise.
Something I like to do for marinading chicken to grill is to prepare the marinade and put it in the freezer bag and then freeze it. I do a batch of freezer prep of various different chicken marinades. Then you just pull out what kind of chicken you want to grill and it marinates all day while thawing and the flavor is so much stronger and the meat is really tender and you don’t have to worry about forgetting to marinate your meat!
Everything looks so yummy! ☺️ it’s so funny because I can’t imagine you never wanting to cook...even after a long day of work. You’re just so good at it! And yes...buggy does sound cuter! 😂 Happy 100k...you deserve it! 💜

I’m orig from Detroit. We always called them Reese’s cups, just like you. My husband, also from Detroit, went to school in Baltimore ( that’s Balmer to the locals). His roommate’s girlfriend, from MD, called them Reesie cups, so that’s our inside joke. With regard to the shopping carts - the people in Detroit call them buggies so that’s what hubs and I still say. Go figure!
My mom used to buy the Jiffy pizza crust. Back then it was a real treat, my mom wasn't a good cook, dad was though. I hadn't used it since pizza delivery was invented. When this virus hit I bought about 6 boxes with fixins. My kids (in their 20s) used those right up. They made pizza sticks out of them. They weren't bad. That ice cream maker is great. We've had one for years. Cinnamon ice cream, the best!

Okay! I’m so glad you posted this. I have a bag of whole carrots in the fridge that we didn’t use for the original purpose. Sooo honey butter carrots are on the menu tonight 🤤 also, we have BLT’s constantly. It’s so stinking easy and fast. I do add avocado on mine when I have one and it’s delicious! I didn't know a bag was called a sack until I moved to the border of Minnesota close to Iowa. I didn't know what they were talking about 😂 and the Iowa Fareways the checkouts are set up so much different than Minnesota. I was so confused. People probably thought I lived in space when I went there the first couple times. 😂 My father and I love the Iowa farmers markets sooo much we make a day trip of it everytime. Go to a ton of different ones. The Spirit Lake one we love, Spencer, Algona. We go to many lol
Before you decide on the best crust try the 2 ingredient one. 2 cups self rise flour and 2 cups plain greek yogurt. Mix just intil combined. It is a wet dough but add some flour til you can work with it. Form on a pizza pan (14") topping with whatever you want and bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes.This is the easiest and best tasting dough. I love pan pizza and my hubby loves thin and this is somewhere in the middle!! It's from WW and is 12 points for the entire recipe!! It is a buggy and we mash everything. Never smash. We even mash a button! Lower AL here!!
Hey Jen, you should check out Half Baked Harvest Super Simple cookbook. I tried the no knead pizza dough the other day and it came out really good and much easier than other pizza dough recipes I’ve tried. Other recipes from the cookbook are really good too!

We buy lemon juice in the bottle because my husband loves lemon juice in his tea. We would go through probably a lemon a day if we bought fresh and if course it is just very convenient. Congratulations on 100k!
I buy lemon juice, because I don’t always have fresh lemon on hand so it’s nice to have for backup. For me, I don’t really notice a difference when it’s mixed with several other seasonings and spices.

If you have trouble getting your pizza dough to cooperate when you are stretching it to fit the pan, just cover it and let it the gluten relax for 5 minutes and then try again. Really helps. I am always amazed at how good your out-of-season tomatoes look. The ones we get here in the northeast are pale, wooden and tasteless--truly without exception. During the six weeks of summer when they are native here is the only time I serve BLTs and we long for them the remaining 46 weeks of the year. Yours just looked delish. I'm from Georgia and I do refer to a shopping cart as a buggy. But, it drives me crazy when people call Reese's "reesies" because that is not how the brand is pronounced.
Here we all call soda "pop" but I cannot!! I always feel like it is misunderstood, "pop" is said too fast. A few years ago I made the switch to call it soda and never looked back!! Also I heard some places call water fountains "bubblers".. that is new to me!
I searched my ShopRite for the sausage strips and they don't sell them I'm going to try Walmart. Have you ever given Murphy carrots?? My dogs love them as part of their dinner. I cook them until they are just soft and mince them into their food. They also love green beans, broccoli and cauliflower. Full of fiber. I made a sheet pan supper last night and cooked Yukon gold potatoes with green beans but u start the potatoes first and then 15 min later u add green beans. Came out great. I have that ice cream machine. Haven’t used it in ages. Last time I used it I made the beat chocolate ice cream, according to my family. I have Ben & Jerry’s book. So good.
I have sweet potatoes that need to be used up so I appreciate the idea you shared. I make a similar carrot side but I add a pat of butter and brown sugar instead of honey. I use baby carrots. Great video!
i can definitely relate to cooking fries longer than the package instructions! i made the aldi seasoned fries last night with portobello mushroom burgers, and i had to cook them for at least 30 minutes. they’re super delicious, though, when cooked to perfection 🤤😋
I am a born and bred texan and feel so out of place at work (still texas!) I say reese’s, not “reesees” and shopping cart not buggy. sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong part of the country!
Great video Jen. Does using your hand mixer in the instant pot leave scratches on the instant pot? I love to make Turkey breast in the crock pot as cooking it in the oven dries it out. Tonight I am making yogurt in my instant pot. I plan to make to make homemade frozen yogurt in my KitchenAid Ice Cream attachment with fresh strawberries.

I use Minute Maid frozen lemon juice. It is 100% lemon and tastes like fresh squeezed. Fresh lemons are a bit pricey for my budget. Someday.

I'm from Georgia and I do refer to a shopping cart as a buggy. But, it drives me crazy when people call Reese's "reesies" because that is not how the brand is pronounced.

Here we all call soda "pop" but I cannot!! I always feel like it is misunderstood, "pop" is said too fast. A few years ago I made the switch to call it soda and never looked back!! Also I heard some places call water fountains "bubblers".. that is new to me!

Have you ever given Murphy carrots?? My dogs love them as part of their dinner. I cook them until they are just soft and mince them into their food. They also love green beans, broccoli and cauliflower. Full of fiber.
I made a sheet pan supper last night and cooked Yukon gold potatoes with green beans but u start the potatoes first and then 15 min later u add green beans. Came out great.
I have that ice cream machine. Haven’t used it in ages. Last time I used it I made the beat chocolate ice cream, according to my family. I have Ben & Jerry’s book. So good.

I have sweet potatoes that need to be used up so I appreciate the idea you shared. I make a similar carrot side but I add a pat of butter and brown sugar instead of honey. I use baby carrots. Great video!
i can definitely relate to cooking fries longer than the package instructions! i made the aldi seasoned fries last night with portobello mushroom burgers, and i had to cook them for at least 30 minutes. they’re super delicious, though, when cooked to perfection 🤤😋

Great video Jen. Does using your hand mixer in the instant pot leave scratches on the instant pot? I love to make Turkey breast in the crock pot as cooking it in the oven dries it out. Tonight I am making yogurt in my instant pot. I plan to make to make homemade frozen yogurt in my KitchenAid Ice Cream attachment with fresh strawberries.

I buy bottled lemon juice and fresh lemon and limes. I use bottled lemon juice in marinates and some desserts.
I tried the same marinade last week and it was delicious. I know people that call them Reesey cups, lol. I say cart now but I grew up saying buggies, lol.
I had never heard Reecie cups before I moved to PA. Same with buggy. I've been here nine years now and now I say it. 🤣

Lol I think it’s a southern thing to say it like that. I was born and raised in the south and I thought about it after hearing you say it and I say it just like reesy cups. I guess in my mind I’m saying it right 😂 another thing that’s been pointed out to me is I grew up calling Yoo-hoos as yahoos
I buy the bottled lemon or lime juice for canning only, they suggest using it so the acid is consistent. For everything else it is fresh all the way!

Please try the cook's country chicago thin crust pizza crust. Its so easy( food processor), easy to roll as well. We like thin crust so we really like it.
I pronounce it as Recee cups. Even named my guinea pig Recee after the candy due to his marks 🐹
