So in Saskatchewan Canada we call the front a Draper header and the header a combine. We also have a lot of on farm storage 90-100% on most farms

Well done JH. Enjoying your updates. Shame about the wrong size belt.

Trying to get the moisture right is really frustrating. I’ve been trying to bale hay and it’s either to high in moisture or to low, so frustrating. Pity about the wrong belt good to see you get it organised, hope the dealer drove out to meet you.

Do your headers require def exhaust fluid like Canada.?

As a former part man, I'm sure that John Deere is just a sorry about the wrong belt as are you. I was wondering if there is a compatible portable moisture tester that you could use the field instead of having to drive back and forth back to the farm to test it? I found one on Grainger; a Dickey-John MINIGAC1SG4. Looks like it would save you a ton of time and fuel to do it in the field instead of all the time traveling back and forth!! Just an idea to better equip the farm?? Thoroughly enjoy the daily updates!! Great job!!

    Love the vids JH.
An exciting time of year but challenging also. Even with the right parts🤪
We're also in the process of building a new home. We'll be 100% off grid.
What type/brand system have you decided to go with and what sort of capacity for panels/storage/inverter?
