Great video on what goes on during harvest season. I have watched a few of your videos now with harvest going on. They are well put together during the busy time. Im hoping to get involved in the harvest this year.
Awesome work again JH and team. This is an absolutely brilliant channel along with the glass cage podcast. You do an absolute brilliant job of showing and explaining what you are doing. I reckon if you keep these coming out you would be educating a lot people what farming is really about and that a lot of times it isn’t that easy with all the challenges you face. It’s great to see also JH that you take time also to reply to most of the comments and questions you get, I’m sure at times you could be doing something else. Well done keep up the great work.
Thanks mate, really appreciate it! Im glad that I have been able to show the world the farm and how we operate out here and try and bridge the education gap from the city about farming. We are just normal people making a living and trying to feed or clothe the world. And its great to get so many people commenting asking questions or offering words of support, makes it all worth while!
@@tomsbrookfarm hopefully more and more people other than farmers will watch your channel. I keep suggesting to my bosses that they should do a channel to show the challenges of growing Brussels sprouts. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for the reply.
I found the John Deere , hand held unit ( yellow in colour) , once you get it calibrated to the CBH local depot for the season , stay very accurate, one of the main things I found was to make sure you input a accurate temperature , ......but yes all conditions and requirements are different ! ...good videos John thanks !
Enjoy the content mate just came across your channel few days back, I spent a bit time working on a farm near Ongerup few years back every day is a new challenge 😅 keep up the good work 👌🏻
InVigor boast "vigorous early season growth, uniformity in height and maturity, superior genetic potential for yield and - most importantly - the ability to consistently outperform other hybrids and canola varieties". 🤪
Bailey got an ulcer in her eye and needed surgery, so she has the cone of shame on and needs to stay at home so the dogs are at home for the next three weeks. It’s killing them they keep trying to get on the back of the Ute
Yes I bet they are they miss the adventure with you and the companionship well hope Bailey comes good and they get out of lockup soon. JH your videos are getting better more informative. I see Henry from SA watches you as well he's another good operator I'd say you all deserve a big thankyou for the work you and your brother and sister farmers do to feed Australia and the world a big thankyou

Was wondering, how do you go with open top bins and rain? What do you do in an unexpected storm?
Cheers.

OMG 😮 has the new big got a dent in it?!
Oh, spotted your response below 👍🏽
What do you do with the grader, surely not enough use just on your property
Plenty of work for the grader on farm, lots of tracks to maintain, roads to build, catchments to sweep, boundary’s to clean and tree lines to rip
What is dry for canola in Australia ? , here in Saskatchewan Canada it is 10% for canola
8% is what we can deliver at
Nice vid mate, we have had George cam, can we have Annabelle and Henry cam?
ha ha no we will not be, they don't want to be in front of the camera. George on the other hand has no choice!
How’s long till your done
We had a lot of rain about 4 days ago. We are hoping to only have about 5 days left
I didn't just see you pulling a comb with a ute did i?
nope...
What did George do to his hand?
Where your dogs go if you don't have them with you miss not seeing them in the back on tray

Why is the w big dent in your 100 ton field bin
We believe it’s on slightly uneven ground. It popped out when it was empty
