It would be interesting to have feedback from insurance companies over the age of homes that are flooding... I would bet that they are mostly new(ish)!
This weather is Not unusual for this time of year.this is Britain and I'm old enough to recognise our typical English weather..young folks haven't a clue everything they don't understand is about the latest thing..Its All been done before..🇬🇧
@@johnross2924 But probably, in those 25 years, there has been a huge amount of additional building and development in areas around him. Probably also the drainage systems have not been appropriately maintained and/or upgraded to cope with the fact that ground which has been tarmac-ed won't soak rain up so there will be extra run off, and also if fields are developed then running floodwater gets directed away from its previous channels to new areas. It's not always just about changes in the weather, often it is more about changes we have made to our environs without thinking the consequences through.
Yes, El nino has changed tacks again as it has before and no doubt will do again. Just a shame that floodplains are built on and land is concreted over so the rain cannot soak away in to aquifers and undredged rivers & unbuilt reservoirs for when we NEED WATER! 😊😊😊
Your spot on there..to many concrete driveways etc..also don't clean the sinks out ..local Councils let us all down many a time..my late father wad council foreman and made sure all lagoons where looked after ..drains unblocked and Sreets clear of rubbish..Sadly missed .
MY whole life there has been very hot days cold days floods etc but never broadcasted like a nuclear war is just about to start ... calm down calm down! 🙄
No aid from any countries coming this way..no concerts..no help from this goverment..no celebrities saying anything ..no charities helping out...thats y i never donate
This is ridiculous stop going on about rain who wants bloody sun all the time,it was sunny in London yesterday depressing it's weather for crying out loud belt up
The geniuses in government and councils built houses on flood plains and by rivers in the bottom of a valley. I live at the top of a big hill. Hahaha. Look, just get out your 6 foot tall cloud busters and dissolve the cloud base to limit the rain and bring out the sunshine for your solar panels. Bring me sunshine in your eyes, make me happy all the while. Hahaha.

There's water leaking through my shed roof which I forgot to fix over the summer. Must be climate change.
Well maybe make you fix things sooner rather than later..we all learn in time ..😊
Oh definitely. All Michael Fish's fault in not telling the UK about the "great storm of 1987". 😊😊

My brother has lived in his house for 25 years, this is the first time his house and others on streets around him have ever flooded in that time!
It is all unpresetented.....all over Europe !!!!

@@Evasunny111 nooo dnt use msm favourite word "unprecedented"!! 😩
@@Polopony not directly around him, it's a well established town, and he has fields at the bottom of his garden. So I don't know what has changed.
Nice to see John Kettley do the weather updates😊
How long have these houses been there? 1 or 2 years. some of the estates look fairly new to me. Maybe it was a bad idea to build there?
My brothers house is 100 years old, he's been there 25 years and this is the first time he's been flooded!

Have a shot every time someone mentions building on flood plains or dredging rivers in the comments under these videos. You'll be drunk very quickly.

Knowing rhe bbc and met office accuracy on big storms in the past im not convinced they know whats happening tomorrow let alone in weeks ahead.
Really? They seemed incredibly accurate when it came to the flooding in Brechin.

And so is Michael Fish
Altogether now! It's just the weather!
Thank you John Kettley for not being Jim Dale.
Look forward to it a nice bit of rain.
You obviously don't live in Greater Manchester where it rains almost everyday year round.
This is what happens my cousins from across the pond, when you piss off a storm with a name like Babet. Stay strong 💪🏻.
And so is Michael Fish 🎵🎵🎵🎵
John Kettley is a weatherman, and so is Michael Fish.
Stop the chemtrailing
Why would they manipulate the weather to make it flood? Can you explain the logic behind that one?
Its still bad here in forgotten midwales
is it the wrong sort of rain?
According to the 6.30 weather forecast there is nothing more to come.
Why is he lying?

Global 😊
More to come then why are those weather lines in the sky ? I saw 5 planes up the creating new weather.
They're called contrails, as if you didn't already know.
They are contrails.
Prepare for water shortages next summer. 😁😁😁
