I watched Yuri on Ice when I was younger, and let me tell you Yuri on Ice was the ONLY THING I talked about in that year. It was my Hetalia before I watched Hetalia, I loved this show so much that I spent all my money on Yuri on Ice Mech. But then later on I began to realize that many problems just made me disliked the show and hating on it entirely. And there are the 2017 Amine Awards, this just sets me off. Yuri on Ice won so many awards that in my opinion, other anime should have gotten. But in the end, I'm glad that you enjoyed the Anime. It's nice seeing someone being so happy about an anime that made me happy too when I was younger. I may kinda hate the anime but it made me happy in the past so it's still special to me. Also, I was not surprised that you were loving Victor because of him having the same voice actor as Russia. (Boomer Simp)
Lol I can confirm Yuri on Ice was big in late 2016-early 2017 since I was going to my first few conventions during that time. I even got into cosplaying Yuri Plisetsky all that jazz haha
