*SLAMS FISTS ON TABLE* THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION IS ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING. I am legit willing to post a video essay explaining why the industrial revolution is super fascinating and more than just prologue to the first world war. To be fair, I haven't seen the last two seasons of hetalia, so maybe the episodes regarding the industrial revolution aren't so fun. I will try and watch them when I can though, especially if the latest season is so pretty to look at. Thanks for the review, it was super helpful for whether or not I should watch it. :)
I think episode 7 had more "real" character interaction. In other seasons the characters were mostly shouting at each other and making meme faces. In this season they were actually discussing stuff, like normal people do. And their interactions were still funny.
SEA characters are for World Stars manga and only start being introduced after the anime. The manga have 381 chapters and ongoing so it'll be a long time before they have any screen time in anime. Edit: Is it spoilers if I say all of them are guys except for Vietnam? Edit 2: Kinda wish they put the scene where Romano and America having a heart to heart on the roof and let Romano talk about his insecurities. Edit 3: Czechia and Slovakia is supposed to be divorced. Hence, the Velvet Divorce. They completely skip Portugal panel time and show how Portugal and Spain are only similar on the outside. The Industrial Revolution has A LOT of character development among characters. They barely put anything from the manga. Even the ones they did put in the anime had skipped so much. America and Romano are bros in the manga.
I'm a nordic fan and I was quite sad but I will say this season made me love Latvia. I watch it dubbed and the new England VA is bloody amazing from a Brit.
ah yes, episode 7 skipped dinner to watch it really nice to see Latvia (and also Estonia) But the Czechia-Slovakia episodes were great too Czechia is so cute
Fun fact: when the original comic strips for the industrial revolution were releasing, my history class was going over that time period.
