The wizard paragon is 100% bugged right now, its mana should not be draining as fast as it currently does in its normal attacking form, making it significantly worse. This update had a few of other bugs (like issues with multi lane maps) that we can hopefully expect to be fixed in a few days
Not only that, but the phoenix’s attack speed is that of a degree 1, no matter the paragon degree you actually have.
I think the mana drain is per hit since massive groups of balloons causes it to just loose its whole thing
That big fire ball attack the Phoenix does should be going faster for degree 100
My wizard paragon just doesn’t regain its souls
The mana gets stuck at zero for me. Even if I use that draining button.
I think that the wizard paragon is meant specifically for boss battles, as it sucks for its price for general bloon poppage but has extreme burst damage, so its not good as a standalone tower
It’s currently bugged in a few ways (Phoenix always attacks as fast as degree 1, mana drains a lot faster than it’s supposed to, etc.)
they need to fix this, degree 100 attacking like it’s a degree 1

I mean on logs I was able to get to round 175 with a level one paragon with almost perfect micro on each round and I’m sure I could get past this round too if I tried hard enough because it’s so close, but it just shows it rlly is just how good you are at ability use/drain bean
the phoenix almost often reverts to a degree 1, also try to use the phoenix when the bloons are out of his range ,it makes the drain much slower and use the other abilities when in range. This paragon may seem awful but it can actually go to the 230s if it's unbugged and with proper micro and game knowledge
Oh what map did you get to round 230+? I only managed to get to round 205 on hard on logs
@@TheTrueForbidden you can get over 230 in logs, watch Ryan Mehalic's video (I mean it depends on what rounds you get) but dying on 205 means that you probably had a degree 1 phoenix

Bro this was m first 100 paragon, it took so long r 200, had to get a boom paragon and a vengeful sun god to stay alive, entire map (cubism) was filled with 4-2-0 wizards and some banana farms which worked crazy bc I got 8 or 9 farms in monkeyopolis, and I have to say it is rlly good

The best way to micro is to use drain beam in first half of round and swap to normal for second half and doing that I made it to like 200 it’s a really good paragon when used fully correctly

Want to know a funny idea the Kiwis should do?, make it so if yo get a paragon level 100 and then they can make a secret paragon level 101 that turns it into the wizard lord from btd5 But just incredibly op

It’s weird to see that the higher the degree, the more draining his attacks are. They should increase the maximum capacity of his unpopped army.

Degree 100 can actually go to 205 with heavy micro
in logs it can go over round 230, ever further than the boat paragon, but a lot of the time the phoenix buggs and reverts into a level 1

It is really good with support. On max tier with a icicle impale and superstorm i beat all the way to round 202
With just the wizard at degree 100 I got to 230
The balloons also get more hp
I like having a micro oriented paragon but it feels clunky. Wish they had done a better job implementing it's mechanics, I'm especially not a fan of how they implemented it's mana pool.

its sad to see that in order to get the most out of the wizard paragon u have to micro well. with vision issues i am garabge at microing and the wizard is my fav tower but it appears it wont be my fav paragon.. havent tried it myself yet due to some things going on irl but its pretty discouraging to hear and see this going on. i get not wanting it to just be easy mode but at the same time u have to wait till late rounds to get paragons then to make it furthe ru have to be real good at micro.
Doesn’t help that it’s bugged, degree 100 should be attacking faster specifically with that one big fire ball thing he does

The paragon isn't very good tbh, I tried it out on elite bloonarius and VTSG (5-2-0 super) was much more effective, ofc the plane way better too - but also I'm wondering how they gonna add more and more paragons without making them kinda useless? For example atm the main usage of paragons is for bosses and already plane is op, so why would ppl use other paragons? NK would have to either make new paragons with similar price giga overpowered but it leads to nowhere, or completely change the way we use paragons - imagine 2025 with 15 paragons but still using boomer for round 100 (boss) cause it's the cheapest and plane for round 120 cause it's just best xd I know, ppl will say "freeplay" - let's be realistic, you play deep freeplay once or twice and you've got enough, mostly with how moabs scale and how laggy it gets with still no graphics settings after 5 years. I don't wanna complain or something cause the game is great and I play a lot, I'm just sharing my thoughts on things that might need some fix or reasembling, encourage ppl to think and talk so that nk has more motivation to go into one of right directions ;)
Perhaps the reason for the low rating you gave to Paragon Wizard is the presence of errors. Examples are the Phoenix attack and the loss of power too quickly.
They just really to patch this. I doesn’t make sense as to why the higher you go in degree the more his unpopped army gets drained. It would make it much better if they reduced the drain or increase his capacity. Otherwise, it’s practically unusable.

The wizard paragon is the worst paragon. It's pure trash.
i feel like the wizard paragon is too ability based. like 76 degree no abilities does around 1-10k pds and with abilities 900k-1mil dps

bro really...use a better map. You seem to love that map too much and isn't the best for highest round testing.
It’s sorta the most average map there is. It’s got 1 lane with some tight turns and a couple loops. Obviously if he wanted to show high rounds he’d choose logs or resort but those are too easy and they aren’t a good representation of at least the easy maps and some of the intermediate maps.
