✨Helpful hint: When using multi-color print cartridges of any kind ⭐YELLOW⭐ is the first run out because it's used in mixing the most. Avoid using yellow when goofing around, or troubleshooting, and you'll save $ on ink.✨

I would think that the yellow is from the printer bleeding a bit. Since most printers like that use the 3 primary colors to make the other colors, and it just bleeds a bit of extra yellow. but im no expert lol

Couple of ideas from the nerdy engineer in the 37th row:
1) It looks to me like the yellow print head is misaligned. Does the manufacturer have a troubleshooting guide?
2) You took out the black ink when you put in the color. Is it possible to have both in at the same time? It looks like the lines could be crispier if you could?

I can see how this would be great for churches and other organizations when they have events. Even conventions. The tattoos could work instead of tickets, and they could also be a beneficial child safety measure by matching parents and their children with the same tattoos (kind of like Chuck E. Cheese does with stamps, but waterproof and longer lasting).

I was thinking the exact thing. School and Church carnivals always have long lines at the face painting booths. Idk how long it would take to make back the money for the purchase on that thing and how long the ink cartridges and primer bottles last. But personalized school logos and mascots could be fun. More for the younger kids though I think. Can you imagine cheerleaders tattooing everybody after school on game days? It would be a good fundraiser. Or maybe even the Mom's at the booster club booth at football games. Lots of ideas if somebody wants to spend some time estimating ink + primer and purchase cost vs return on their dollar.

Naw. A simple hand stamp is infinitely cheaper. If the unit alone cost $600, I can only shudder at how expensive the most definitely proprietary ink cartridges would cost to replace.
I have actually seen this before and sadly, a lot of negative reviews.

I’ve been thinking about buying one of these so it’s super cool to see it in use and see the pros and cons of it. Honestly this thing is really freaking cool, especially considering how small it is. I can completely understand the annoyance about wanting a bigger tattoo and it can only make small ones. Due to the machine itself not being massive it seems like there’s a size limit. Also I can imagine if you wanted a giant tattoo you’d have to line up the bottom half of the tattoo perfectly with the top half to make it look correct and that would be incredibly difficult since you are moving the machine across your skin. The color ink is a bit disappointing, but this thing seems honestly pretty powerful. Super cool video. Thanks for sharing with us 😊
I could imagine using this to do small little (black and white only would probably be best for ink efficiency) designs at festivals and such. Maybe ask $1-3 for a design even to make money back

Y'all are so cute! 😭 I'm excited you tested this - when it was still a proof of concept I was pretty hype for it, but that's still a bit much pricewise for its level of function for me! I'm definitely interested when it's more streamlined and less costly.
After seeing your tattoo aka. blobb I simply have to write a comment! I kind of binge watched your videos fot the last two month and at some point I saw your video in which you talked about your ai-disease and that you used to do karate. You showed a picture of you and I instantly yelled out "YOU DO KYOKUSHIN KAI!!!!!" And of course you have the kyokushin kai kanji as tattoo!

I remember seeing this at some point and thought it was a pretty neat idea. Though I'd still would prefer Henna Tattooing if I could ever do it myself and get some interesting designs done that is not typical of Henna designs (my co-worker from India could probably give me a few suggestions 🤔).
As for this itself... would I pay $600? NOPE! But I also would not pay $100 for one that is cheaply made 🤣
I bought a henna tattoo kit from Barnes and noble with designs I love and comes with red henna pen.
I don't think I could pay $600 for that. My kids draw on me with markers (while I sleep) and I get tattoos for free 🤣

I could imagine my kids with countless cartoon characters all over them. My daughter would love it!
I could also see the device that could help tattoo artists with printing the exact tattoos that could be design for their customers instead of tracing a drawing and then transfering the designs onto the customer. It would have to be much better than it is now. The tattoo printer would have to print perfectly, and exactly what the customer wants. The machine would probably be good for smaller tats and a lot cheaper.

Yup, someone like me, actually. I have thought about maybe getting a tattoo someday but I’m a bit wary of the needles. Not that I have a phobia of needles, I don’t mind getting my blood drawn and vaccines and stuff, but things like acupuncture don’t sound appealing to me.
