I workout everyday and straight sweat that damn frontal off everyday. Do not go in the sauna, it will slide to the back of your head. So basically not for fitness women.

lmaoooo .. i used to have that problem.. i started sewing down the perimeter of my wigs & putting a few stitches here n there throughout the frontal and the wig stays put until im ready to remove it

Nope I just use an wig clips and elastic band. The band keeps the front from lifting and the clips keep the wig from sliding. Don't even both with glue or tape. And use eco gel just for baby hairs...

the gel should be applied to the skin not the actual hair. there is so much oil coming from your hair so you need to put it on your skin. The frontal should be a little bit over your edges so this can be possible. By doing so the gel can actually last for a week. Hope this helps

People stop. We all know that Got2be is not designed for lace wigs. So stop acting like it's letting you down because it flakes when you apply it under some material. The gel is something that so happens to work as an alternative to lace glue without long term commitment. They do have lace glues with daily and up to 3 days hold. Try those.

Hey when you put the Got 2b glued don't put it on your hair. Gel your hair down with regular gel first and tie it down. Put Got 2b glued on your skin ONLY as close to your hair line as possible. If you happen to get it in your hair, don't stress out. You have to put water on the frontal to take it off. It will slide right off. Now it will leave a residue on your frontal. To take it off use shampoo & water. Do not scrub frontal too hard it will take hair off & leave bald spots from shedding. Gentle Hand. I've tried both Got 2b glued gels. Black dries better with less residue but the yellow has better hold. Hope this helps.

Great video! I made my first frontal wig a few weeks back. The wig is now just sitting in a bag cause I don't be feeling like all that work to put it on. I will stick to my closures. LOL

I know everyone is saying glue free as if that's the only thing the holds just because it's not called glue doesn't mean it's not going to completely ruin your hair line permanently. I predict lots of bald women in next years .
My problem with frontals is that they look awful like 90 percent of the time. People leave too much baby hair out and it doesn't have a part. I hate the way hair looks with no part so I hate most frontals
I went from closures to a 360 frontal and the back sheds so much. I hate how thin it is and the ear tabs are a whole other story.

Don't get a frontal bruh... these you tubers obviously don't do anything besides sit and talk.. cuz that got2be glue don't work in heat , humidity , etc. and the residue makes it hard for the frontal to become adhesive ready again. Don't do it.. it's a mess 😭

+Jasmine Valiente then your sister is not a normal human being or your lying because I GARUNTEE you either she used glue every 3 days or you just caught her on good days. Because frontals don't do that and anyone who wears one can tell you.
+Jasmine Valiente and you should also tell her to be careful, too much cowashing and gorilla snot will leave the frontal resistant to adhesive.
***** "sweetie" I've worn frontals, closures, braids, regular sew ins with leave out you name it I can speak on whatever the hell I want. Unless your reading comprehension sucks I said we live in Florida my sister currently has a frontal in that she's maintained daily with gorilla snot that holds just fine I used her as an example over myself because she does dance daily and performs outdoors once a week. The residue is never a problem because as I already stated she cowashes the perimeter where she applies it everyday. Instead of being condescending and assuming you know everything already ask questions. Like I said frontals aren't something you can just install and forget about but when maintained they hold up just fine. Have a great day.

FACTSSSS! A closure is easy breezy! With a frontal I set apart like over an hour just in case I mess it up, gotta readjust, the gel glue not acting right idk 🙄 and that got 2 b glued doesnt last a day for me idk how ppl wear it for like 4 days (allegedly)! Plus i wash the gel off the frontal each time i put it on, so much work

The clear and white Got2b gel are both leaving flaky residue on your edges. Also, you may end up losing some hair around your edges cause that glue stick onto the hair real hard. When you sweat or in contact with humidity that thing is no good. The wig will move and the glue will appear like a white liquid on your edges, not cool especially in public. The only good thing, your baby hair on the wig seem to be yours and gives a realistic look until it lasts!

My fellow nyc chick. Love ya. I prefer a frontal over a closure wig anyday bcuz these closures are getting to damn onvious. I sit on the train and see chicks with the closure slipping and sliding and it looks a mess!!! When constructed right a frontal wig looks amazing. By the way, a harlem chick did my frontal and didnt use got2b glue she used mousee for curly hair with maximum hold blowdried and sprayed got2b spray and blowdried again. No yucky residue. And the hold was firm and amazing. Try it out.

I totally agree Ive been wearing frontals for 6years and its a lot of damn work.! I cant workout too much bc it slides back. I tried the Got2bglued but it doesnt hold long either and it leaves a white residue it looks disgusting! The best glue is Ultrahold to hold ur frontals get it from Amazon. Either way lace frontals are time consuming from measurements to allowing the glue to dry before placing it down. Its annoying seriously! Btw your a beautiful young lady 💋thanks for the info😘
I have been hesitant to use lace frontals for a while but I love how lawless they look so this video has been super helpful and I actually look forward to my first lace front wig :)

if you're using your fingers then that might be why there's residue. The oil in your fingers make it all gross, if you use a tooth brush to apply it and press it down instead of your fingers that should help!

This video!!!! You the real MVP. OK so..... I've been natural for 11 years. Other than a sew in, with a leave out about 3 times during that time, I haven't worn weave. But don't misunderstand, I LOVE WEAVE. I taught myself to do a sew in to make sure it was boss. (with many a compliment and requests to style others... if I do say so myself) I'm just not up on the latest. So I want a wig but I know enough about weave to know to do my research. I feel like stylists these days are selling me a dream when I'm asking questions so that I make an informed decision. It's like they are just trying to sell me. The problem is, I'm already sold but I know weave is work. Slayage doesn't come free but I was worried about wasting my money to learn all the secrets. A thousand hugs, kisses, and thanks to you for the real. Now, I know how to shop for the right unit.

Love your videos! If you love the frontal, you will love the 360, it is so much easier to work with. You are so correct about the residue of got 2b glue! I have to shampoo it as well.

I use the one in the yellow bottle. The residue was not bad. The elastic band does hold the wig down and I use not too much got to be just for the realistic finish. Your hair is really laid and your tips are so real
For me, it's the baby hair getting caught up in the got 2 be gel. No joke hard to lay wig down while keeping hair out of the gel. I use the yellow bottle for the sides cuz it seems stronger. I use the black bottle for my forehead area cuz it's clear. Nice vid!
So I have psoriasis if you don't know what that is it's a scalp disease that makes your scalp dry and itchy. So I have to wash my hair two times a week. Due to my psoriasis I can't wear weave since I have to take care of my scalp. Right now I wear extensions, but the thing about that is I can't straighten my hair all the time, I'm trying to take care of my hair. So now I came to the solution of wearing wigs. I feel SOOOO much more confident whenever I have long hair, so in order for me to take care of my hair and have long hair/ scalp . A wig would be the best choice BUT I don't know much about wigs.

I so agree with you, I make wigs and do weaves, and yes its not as straight forward as it looks, it takes to time to slay, to get it to look right as many stylists make it look so easy but its not so straight forward...

Good info...thanks. I've learned sooo much from these beautiful young ladies on YT. I am in no way a pro at wearing lace wigs but I just want to share my technique; maybe it can help some of you. It takes me less than 30 min to put on my full lace and it stays on at least 5 days with Got2B(Yellow) and I even work out so I work up a sweat on my cardio days. My first install took me well over an hour and I actually just gave up, cussed and tried it another day. I've only put the wig on 3 times but this is what works for me. Gel my hair back into a low ponytail. clean my hair line right in front of my babyhairs with SeaBreeze. Spray the area with Got2B Blasting Freeze then put a thin layer of G2B (Yellow) on top of that. Situate the wig and use low warm air setting on blow dryer for about 30-45 sec to melt it in and then switch to cool air for about 10 -15 min. Repeat these steps for the nape and behind the ears. Clean up any residue with cotton ball and water. When I take it down 5 days later (with warm water) I deep condition THEN wash my hair. I haven't lost any edges yet. Wish I was bold enough to make you ladies a video but I'll leave that to the pros. Smooches

The safest way to remove any type of gel residue is to generously apply an oil-based pomade, petroleum jelly or similar products. The oil safely breaks down the ingredients that hold the hair with minimal damage to the hair. Same goes for track/weft glue (not sure if people are still even using that but yeah).

I think it depends on who installs . I know my frontal could of lasted longer glued and sewed down but I like an indiot tried to condition my 613 while glued and sewed down. I couldn't take the shedding anymore

giiirllll I don't know how u came up on my recommendation list but I feel ya. today I received my frontal, and had some previous frontal slayage vids saved from other you tubers. But whilst I was plucking for almost 4 hrs, I was cussing these gurus cos I did as the one suggested "pluck 10 strand then skip, bitch had me pluck bald spots with that 10 strands"....and eventually o started to carefully pluck. I haven't finished cos even when I try it on it still looks so wiggish. What can I do more? I'm out of ideas and this frontals cost me 150 dollars :((((

I never had issues with wearing frontals except when I use the got2b glue gel...it actually leaves residue on the frontal then my edges because I use a small amount .And I never leave my actual baby hairs out I just use the wig baby hairs.
HonestlyLala why not just add combs instead of the gel I wear combs all the time and my hairline has always been thick and full
Liane Chambers the combs snatch my edges up, so I never use them I just use the band that comes with the wig because it's secure enough.

yes frontals aren't easy and the edge control does create a white cast I usually apply coconut oil over it when it dries.

Thank you so much for this video. i tried frontal for a month and i just went back to closure. for me frontal is too much work. they say got2be is super hold but after a workout i had to fix it all over again. sometimes it unglued over night.. -.- also it was too itchy for my skin and was making my skin really sensitive. closure is easier for me and though frontal is more versatile i was always laying down my hair or low ponytail. so whats the point. imma keep my closures.

I'm not making a wig. I'm just sewing my frontal down on my actual head. Would you recommend sewing it down & then customizing it or customize it before I sew it in? And also when is the best time to cut off the lace in the front?
