- Sometimes, ya just gotta take matters into your hands. And if they won’t make some Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal action figures, I will.

The figures came out absolutely stunning! The thing I love the most about them is that they have that nice innocent classic charm to them that toys back in the day used to have. I can totally imagine my 7 y/o self seeing this toy at the store and begging my parents to get it for me. Truly amazing work!

This was a very fun video to see! I have been making custom action figures for years now. And its so nice to see someone getting inspired and dabble into the hobby himself. You did a great job! And the results are something you could be proud of.

Yeah lol I do a wide variety of content and like to try new things, I don’t wish to limit myself all creativity. I simply make the videos I want to make, when I want to make them and I feel like that’s the magic of this channel! And thank you! Although it may be a while, I definitely plan on making more videos like this!

You had a great idea & the figures use was pretty spot on.
In the hands of an expert customizer with their experience, a terrific Spear & Fang could be created.
That said.. some toy company needs to make an entire line of figures based on that cartoon. Need That!

i do think you could have gotten a newer Mattel rex, this Hasbro one is... infamous, to say the least. And that is a very old Hulk figure, there are definitely cheaper, newer options, especially if you bought it sealed, but it does have that classic toy feel to it

These are great customs but a little while back they did make official figures but the person who produced them was scamming people but you can still buy the files to 3d print
I heard about those, and about all the discourse surrounding it a while back. I just recently looked at them though, and they do look like some pretty awesome figures!

Just looked that up, yeah that would have been awesome! Looks super cool! Anyone else looking for a more detailed and articulated t- Rex to use should definitely look into that one!
The paint on your Fang looks good on the strips. Also advice I can give from what I learned from people who customize figures and collect figures. The best thing to do is also heat up the figures in hot water and break them apart also hobby spray primers help.
Like Citadel or army painter are good beginner primers you can get at comics shops that have D&D stuff in em like I would suggest a white primer and then add your base colors and then shading as well highlights.
Furthermore, a hobby stand with clips to hold parts of the hulk figure help to make it easier to spray the primer and apply your paints and then when you're done with your paints spray a matt clear coat to protect the figures.
Oh, and last advice with paint rub on the joints before you even paint or prime the figures after you heat up the plastics and pop all the joints apart you want to sand the joints you're gonna articulate that way when you do put the primer and later your other paints it won't have paint rub.

@@samuraitanner I suggest too looking at action figure custom tips on TH-cam and look at people painting miniatures and 3d resin statues since they give great tips on doing skin tone and what materials you need also investing in a cheap airbrush and compressor helps too since I got a portable airbrush and compressor given I live in apartment so can't have it hooked in my room or outside. Still there our ton of good stuff to check out it does get pricey not gonna lie but it's pretty worth it

Yeah, it’s an epoxy putty or something I don’t really know. It is exactly what I needed though. Very easy to work with and drys to a hardened finish

Just checked it out! So awesome! I heard about them when they were announced, but haven’t seen the finished product yet! They look amazing in its own ways! I remember hearing a lot of discourse surrounding it back in the day so I never really followed up on it, but it looks really cool!

Pretty sure the reference image u saw that inspired you is the article figures spear figure and also would have kill to get one of those hasbro jw T. rex figures from my childhood
I remember them from the complaints of the screw holes or bullet holes in one side of the figure
