yeah I agree, I do hope with KF3 they will keep the same theme throughout and put a ton of detail in their newer maps as KF2 maps did lack any depth towards the end of it's lifecycle
My theory is that, for whatever reason, a Horzine insider was sent out to this location and was communicating with Horzine through the radio transmissions. The code written on the pipe and keycard acted as some kind of dead drop or information that was used with an external piece of tech, possibly a bunker. In the end the person operating in this farm house was sent the signal that the outbreak was going to happen and they left (This explains why there is no trace of anyone). Also, super cool video! I love just stopping and looking at the ambient story telling in Killing Floor maps, good stuff!
Hardly not much lore go into these maps unfortunately, we can only speculate if they have anything to do with horzine and what happened. I know hostile grounds had issue with scrakes due to muscle corpse and human skin hanging. I would to see more videos like this Wezaa.
I just looked into that map and I only just noticed it for the first time, I will certainly do a video on that at some point thanks for bringing it up!
I miss the old KF2 maps that were scary like this, the new maps are fun to play don't get me wrong but it just doesn't feel the same Old KF was metal, new KF is all shiny and sci-fi. Also I think the weird photos are just tripwire staffers
Yeah the newer maps in KF2 didn’t have the same atmosphere and depth as some of the old ones as they were just community maps not made by tripwire. Don’t get me wrong they are good and all but not as in depth as some of the early maps
Late comment, but man this was a fun video. Very interesting to see how this games maps were made at the beginning vs during the end of it's life. Hope you'll consider looking at more maps, or even look into kf1. This could be a fun series, and a good way to pass time while waiting for kf3.
I love the creepy feeling early KF2 used to have, ohh I miss this atmosphere 😢

Yeah no problem glad you enjoyed it, It could be a government or military outpost to combat the zed outbreak?
@@wezaatzk that's true, I wonder if the place was boarded up / fortified by the person who was taking the transmissions or people who came later.

Yeah I was thinking of doing some kf1 maps as they do have more story and lore behind them compared to kf2
This is fire, even 🔥

Thanks!
why does this video with 200 views have 500 dislikes
I don't see the same thing on my end, must be a glitch with TH-cam sometimes it happens to me when I click on another video whilst watching one
