I'd like to say it doesn't bother me, but I'm one person. It looks like it's healing nicely, so yay! I'm hoping my husband gets me a kindle or an e reader soon. We live in a tiny one bedroom and one of my favorite book series is 30 plus books strong. Lol Hope you have an amazing day Alyssa!
I still have my Nook Color...hacked as an android. So glad I didn't sell it or I might be tempted to buy it again. Lol. Just pulled it out a few months ago. Not sure how much I'll use it, but so happy it still works.
I was also gifted this 3G NOOK and LOVED it to death until the e-ink display died. I traded it in at my local Barnes & Noble to get an upgrade discount 😢 I miss it. I enjoyed watching your nostalgia!
maybe the battery was dead because it's bad to keep lithium batteries drained for a long time. this is so cool tho! i love old ereaders and want to give new life to them. eta: you convinced me to buy one!
I have this E-reader from Barn & Noble; I purchased it back and 2011. I still have right to this day; I cannot connect to B/N to download my books either. B/N always continue to change the proto call for their network to force people to purchase new E-readers. I will never purchase another E-reader from B/N. I have purchased three of them Tablet Color Regular Tablet; and this one on the video, I cannot connect to use none of them. I purchased my wife an Amazon E-reader in 2012 with the keyboard and it still work. (I just purchased my first Kindle as well).
I was given a used classic nook last week. I came across your video looking for how I can use this device nope that it cannot connect to the shop. Thanks for the tips, will be checking out your tictok so I can side-load books onto it.
Do the new Nook readers "blink" when they refresh pages, etc.? I wanted a Kindle at first, but with being epileptic, I don't like the blinking when they refresh every page.
apologies in advance for showing my fingers so much on screen but it’s kinda hard not to 😭

Don’t worry about it, it doesn’t look that bad. I hope it’s not too painful for you.
@@marieelenagarcia998it definitely looks great compared to two months ago!
Doesn't bother me at all ❤
Ok wait the split lcd screen is kind of genius

You’re dad sounds like a great father!
This definitely makes me want to rebuy my old kindle keyboard
I loved my kindle keyboard!
11:16 if it was blinking at a consistent rate, it may have been a diagnostic thing
This video is fantastic. Felt shared stress when the battery didn't work lol
The nook came out in 2008… I had one of the first ones…
This is so cool! I would love an update on how you’re enjoying the Nook & also how you gets books on it. I’m thinking of getting one myself!

Yes it blinks. There is also a setting on kindles that take away the blinking. My kindle doesn’t blink.
@@ReadwithAlyssa , really? I didn't know that. No one's ever told me that. Thank you! 😁
I might get a kindle with prime day coming up, lol!
Has anyone ever tried page turners on this device?
Page turners aren't strong enough to push these buttons
❤❤❤❤❤❤

I wonder how long you’ll keep this ereader until you sell it
It’s almost as if I’m allowed to sell something if I don’t need or want it anymore 😱😱😱 so shocking
I wonder how long until you stop being an asshole
