yes, Floor and her younger selves
The imagery of dropping all of her baggage on the ground, too.
GINX you friggin' NAILED the concept of the 3 Floors...WELL DONE! In the end shot, they are unloading all the "baggage" from her life and leaving it on the ground.
Ooo! That baggage concept is PERFECTION!
Speaking of trauma in life, you might want to check out another song from her solo album, "Invincible" ...it's about dealing with PTSD...the song and the music video are AWESOME. Floor is just WAY too good of a person! She's inspirational, just like many of the songs on her album.
Co-signed for "Invincible".
I concur
I concur!
I concur.
I concur!
Enjoyed your reaction! You nailed the younger versions of Floor and the overall meaning of the song. Floor has said it is about taking a moment to realize what you have achieved. To celebrate all that you have accomplished, even if you have more growth you want to achieve.
The luggage spread out in the end indeed represent the experiences one has accumulated over the years and everyone should make some time to appreciate these. The whole album is about empowerment.
There is a picture of Floor as a kid that looks exactly like the girl they got for the video.
Also kudos to them for finding an American Beast of a Family Truckster in Europe.
Great reaction! Concerning your question: Floor has been born in 1981. I love to hear Floor belting and growling but also this side of her. She is so versatile, not only her voice but also the styles of her songs. From her album "Paragon" I especially love the song "Invincible"; the lyrics together with the great video made by her husband Hannes always bring me to tears.
This song has so much depth to it.
Love this! My favorite song and video from her solo album. Great casting for her younger versions too.
That casting was ON POINT
I'm fortunate to share the same birthday as Floor as we are both 21st Febuary but i'm a 1974 boy. Yes your right both girls where dressed to the year plus so was the luggage.
Well done!
it shows a different side of Floor the artist!❤❤❤❤
For a powerful and inspirational song off this album - Invincible (Official Video)
Nice choice...this song always gets "tears" rolling down my cheeks! The whole LP is amazing...you can't go wrong just reacting to the whole LP.
My other favorites are "Fire"... & " Invincible"....and right now I don't remember the names to all the other songs!
Check out “the floor Jansen story” - its in Dutch but has English subtitles. Brings a lot of depth to this song.
I concur
This is lovely - both reaction & views and the music video.
I don't know who they are either, but your interoritaion is SPOT ON. They are all representing her.
Floor "The Unstoppable" Jansen !!!!
Title song from Floor's first solo Album with the same name !!!!
This song is precious to me 🥰. To see Floor with her past kid and teen self is so heartwarming (10 points to you for catching it) ... The clip is a metaphore. Floor driving her past selves into the future telling her past to be yourself. She unloads her (mental) baggage from the present and gives it to her past. It ends with a wholesome Floor (with past Floors) enjoying themselves amidst the past mental baggage and finally at ease. Despite loving parents, Floor's past has not been easy (she recounts that in multiple interviews she gave). Glad that she finally found her sweet spot.
NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.
In which Floor, having realised she is the best version of herself (and always has been), takes her younger selves camping to let them know. Brilliant!
Very beautiful, thank you
The whole debut album from Floor is "badass."
daydream is another amazing song in her album. but of course the whole album is amazing too. every song is very personal to Floor
Yes .. feel good song and be ware of NOW ( not Dreaming of one day... now I like this song and enjoy the moment) Thank you and try "Invincible"
Floor has alway songs (NW+Herself+covers) with a meaning..
Lady I loved it, Thank You So Much, More please.❤
HER first very own album is named Paragon........and rumors say SHE is working on HER second one........❤❤❤
What can we say Gina more about the dutch windmill momma floor that hasn't been said about her being so talented my fellow minions . I give this 4 hedges out 4 hedges lol. Wintersun Alex ❄️👋😁
Floor reaching out for a unique solo career sound and vibe. Less metal and more accessible. It is a very young Floor and a teenage Floor. You nailed it Ginx. Floor is in her early 40's.
I will add the request for Daydream, a conversation between the " Wolf and Dog ". It's about the time she was burnt out and got lost in her inner self. Basically telling herself to wake up and and " Shake me back into this world " Brings me to tears with it's sincerity.
Floor is born 21 february 1981 So she is 43 years old
You were spot on. Floor had a troubled youth. She had very loving parents that moved a lot for her father's career. Floor had to start over again many times, but never fitted in. She was bullied a lot at school, became insecure until she was on stage for the first time during secondary school play (she sang something). Her own father did not recognise her almost because of the transformation she underwent on that stage. For floor, being on stage is like a psychological councelling. In real life, she is shy, HSP, superfriendly and withdrawn. On stage she is perfectionist, professional and in her second skin. She needs it just as much as to withdraw in her own world being with her horses and in nature and with her family. She calls it the wolf and the dog in her. In the clip you can see she unloads the baggage (of her past) with her past selves to enjoy wholesome her present self with her past selves in the circle of her past baggage. But I think there is an even deeper meaning. I think Floor acknowledges (finally) that she is as a singer also at her paragon. Because of the insecurities inside her, she had to become the best in the world before she could acknowledge that she does not need to torment herself to be better all the time anymore. She finally IS her paragon and she feels she should enjoy that, including with her past versions and the ghosts that come with them. Floor is not a person that sings. She IS a singer. I think this is one of the best clips for a pop song ever made.
Hey GINX, your hidden follower here from Germany.
You are spot on with your reaction as always.
What a good example for how Floor is looking at herself and the world around. Just on a level some never reach.
🤗🍒🤘🏻😘 Great Job again
try : Fire, also from her solo album
The video is worth a watch for the context, and there is a live version from a TV show. Wow. Like a few of the album songs it is very after Covid time, wake up and get back out there. Burn down the silence.
Yes Gina once again you got floored by the dutch windmill momma floor Jansen. Wintersun Alex ❄️👋❤️
Floor's songs are Amazing 🤟 Helping me throught depression/anxiety moment 🌹 She's a Goddess at least ❤
I just can’t picture Floor driving an old station wagon!🎸🤘
Spot on reaction - and just continue with the rest from this album.
It is phenomenal - of course
Thanks
