I love how he pointed out that Wade won’t act that way towards a man. Only towards women because he’s a coward. Straight honesty. He tells it how it is.

My dad's now clean and even he will tell you it's you who is responsible for your own sobriety it took him 10 years to finally get clean. Enabling doesn't help with them not getting more drugs but if you've ever known an addict they hustle and go on side quests and make money to get the drugs either way.

It's how it goes his dad tried to get him help by sending him to a treatment center Wade Wilson stayed in the center for a few weeks in palm Beach then left with a friend so when you look at it he didn't want to get clean. One thing I've learned about addicts is they have to want to get clean you can't force them to get clean

Wade is a sacrificial byproduct for what needed to happen in his bio father's life. His father needed this to happen. He was not meant to be in Wade's life for whatever reason for a period of time. And now, he was places back into ha son's life. I believe it it so that he could heal for the past. My hubby just told me all this and i truly believe it. The universe or God is giving the dad this opportunity to see that this was all for a reason. Wade is still a POS. He has no excuses. @KatSpade1018 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +97

Steve, I had to come back after the interview and say a few more things, for what it's worth...
Ppl have a lot to say about Wade's "coldness" during trial but it was evident to me that the two times he felt genuine emotion, in my opinion, was when Diane's son addressed the court. He felt that and when you testified. Not because you hurt him but because he knew the position he put you in and it was a no win. That bothered him, again, in my opinion from observation. You clearly were torn to your soul in that moment and I'm so sorry for that. You've never once made excuses or defended Wade's actions while still standing by your son as a father and even showing great compassion for the victims and their families. You're a helluva man, Sir and I give you the utmost respect.
When your son asked for help with rehabilitation, without hesitation you jumped up and got him the help he needed. His location was of no factor to the outcome. Wade can easily get a woman to ride with him and he's a wild one. It wouldn't have mattered where you sent him, the outcome would have been the same because it's how he rolled so please take that burden off your heart. It's not your cross to bear.
You have stood by your son and at the same time you've saved him from himself by not allowing him the opportunity to create more victims. You saved who knows how many innocent lives but still stood by his side as a father does. Anyone that faults you for a damn thing has no clue until they've walked a thousand miles in your shoes so fk them. You're a good dad since the age of 15 yrs old and you stepped up and did everything you could possibly do. Take comfort in knowing that because you did more than most would have done in your shoes but you did it all right. It was a pleasure to get to know you and Wade here today I'm just so sorry for the circumstances. Just keep being the amazing dad you've been. He needs you now more than ever. I pray for you and the road that lies ahead. I can't even imagine. My heart truly aches for you, sincerely. For what it's worth, the other side of Wade does shine through for those willing to look. He does have good qualities. He's very charming, he's funny, he has a nice laugh, I think he does have a loving side and he clearly loves you very much and I think that yes, there likely is a part of him that enjoyed committing those acts, however, I feel like he didn't want to feel that way. He didn't want to enjoy it and if he could have had the choice def would change that part of himself but unfortunately he couldn't do so. Not sure that could even be changed because no one really knows how that or why some ppl are like that. He had a good life. It's just the way he was and that's a hard thing to accept as a parent I'm sure because as humans we always want an explanation for what we can't understand.
He has a good sense of style tho because his courtroom attire was on fire.
Oh and my oldest son is 5'7" and my youngest is 6'3" at 20 years old. I'm 5'5" and my husband is 5'11". We don't know either, Steve. Haha
I'm sure some ppl won't appreciate this but I'm gonna say it anyway, You have an extremely attractive son and that smile and those dimples can sure make a woman weak in the knees. He looks exactly like you, your little mini me. No disrespect to your wife for saying this but you're a very handsome man as well. If only his inside could have mirrored yours like the outside, he'd have done alright.
I'll keep you in my prayers, Wade too and Thank You for this interview. It means a lot ❤ I wish you the best with everything.

@@PoppasboyOtisI have parental issues and biases, my parents are straight up narcissistic and only love themselves truly, so I hear where you’re coming from nurture over nature and ALL THAT 100%! BUT… this case seems very nuanced considering the fact that dad didn’t have a choice from being a child himself behind bars, and I don’t think mom did either hearing her parents went to church. Most likely they shamed her into having a baby she was not ready to have… she probably faced post partum pretty bad being forced into having a baby and probably adoption too. Post partum can permanently affect a woman’s brain without help… so it’s probably why she still has problems to this day ontop of whatever else she may have been through with her parents who forced her into giving birth and cared more about “godliness” over their own daughters well being, or the future child’s.
This case is a perfect example of why abortion should be an option, and should be de-stigmatized.

He has alot of love for his son despite his sons horrible actions, but his dad is doing an amazing job at balancing that love while also holding wade to his accountability for his actions. This dad seems like an amazingly strong and genuine human being. Im not sure many people could manage the position he is in now with as much love, hurt, truth and respect as he is doing. I really feel for this Dad. I gave up my baby when I was 17 years old and I can tell you that it is the hardest decision I’ve ever made and it still hurts me even though it has been 28 years and I know the person who adopted him and I still have updates.! I hope and pray that he will come to find me one day and I loved him so much and I wanted the best life possible and I wasn’t able to provide him what he deserved. I was absued by his father and I was afraid to bring him to the world of that. I got away from him but I know how that pain feels even if you know that you’re child is going to be in a wonderful family that pain especially for the mother is the most painful thing in the world. The fact is that they loved him so much that they did the best thing for him. I understand why the mom has issues with drugs because she is trying to make her pain go away even for a little while but unless you have been in the position of the biological parent’s you have no idea how much it hurts. And I agree with the dad and I would have turned him into the police to and you don’t know what would happen if he went on the run and still using the cops could have shot him or he could have killed somebody else.

I'm so glad that you were able to keep in touch with your child... And I also understand why Wade's bio mom has had a rough go of it. She was just a child herself. For her to have to grow up and go through life with that hole in her heart, and then to see the monster he turned into, and then have to wrestle with all the "what ifs"...hell, I'd probably be on drugs too!
